"Alright. Forget about her," Murray interrupted Ryleigh coldly.

"Oh, Murray, if you don’t like it, I won’t ntion it again." Ryleigh was embarrassed and kept quiet.

She looked down at the glass shards on the ground and said sweetly, "Murray, let help you clean up."

"No need. The cleaner will do it later." Murray said indifferently.

"Let do it. It would be bad if you accidentally stepped on it. I will be hurt." Ryleigh insisted.

As she spoke, she crouched down and began to clear the glass dregs on the ground.

Murray frowned and stepped back.

Thinking about online public opinion, he was a little upset.

Murray took out his phone again and subconsciously opened the address book. He swiped the screen with his slender finger and accurately found lissa’s number.

Looking at the na "lissa," Murray’s handso face beca colder.

His finger hovered over the na "lissa," hesitated for a mont, and then loosened.

After repeating this several tis, with mixed feelings, Murray finally pressed down.

However, he was only to be told that lissa had been powered off.

"Shit!" Murray cursed in his heart. He exuded a cold aura, making the atmosphere in the office very frosty.

Even Ryleigh, who was cleaning up, felt this chill.

"Murray, are you alright?" Ryleigh looked up.

Murray ca back to his senses and said indifferently, "I’m fine."

"Alright, I’m done." Ryleigh stood up and threw all the glass shards into the trash can.

She was about to say sothing when her phone rang.

"Murray, I’m sorry. I need to answer a call." Ryleigh said to Murray apologetically.

Murray nodded slightly.

Ryleigh picked up the phone. "Sir, can I ask for leave tonight?"

"No!" The stern voice of the bar owner sounded on the other side of the line.

Ryleigh pursed her lips and said carefully, "But I am injured today, and my knees are bandaged. I can’t sing on stage."

"Then I will dock double off your salary!" The bar owner said in a very unreasonable manner.

Ryleigh pleaded pitifully, "Sir, please cut so slack. I am really injured. I am still in a hurry to use money. Please don’t dock my salary, okay?"

"Angel, do you take as a philanthropist? If everyone else is like you, asking for leave at will, how can I run my bar?" The bar owner said angrily, "If you can’t accept it, get lost!"

"Alright. I will be there on ti tonight." Ryleigh said with red eyes.

After hanging up the phone, Ryleigh looked at Murray with tears in her eyes. "Murray, I should go. I have to go to the bar to work tonight."

"Aren’t you injured?" Murray asked with a frown.

"It doesn’t matter. I can wear a long dress so that the guest won’t be able to find that my knee is injured." Ryleigh pursed her lips, her voice choked with tears, but she still tried to put on a brave face.

"No. Lily, quit your job," Murray said in a low voice.

"How can I do that? This job is very important to . I need to work hard to make money to pay you back." Ryleigh shook her head, looking strong and independent.

"Lily, didn’t I tell you? I don’t need you to pay back," Murray sighed.

"But I don’t like owing you anything." Ryleigh lowered her head, "Murray, I don’t want you to look down on ."

"How can I possibly do that?" Murray thought for a mont and said, "Lily, why don’t you co to work at the Gibson Corporation?"

"Can I?" Ryleigh suddenly looked up, her eyes flashing with joy.

Murray smiled and said with certainty, "Of course."

At the airport.

Nina and lissa boarded the latest flight to White Mountain.

Just as lissa was about to turn off her phone, she suddenly received a call from Jaylin.

"Jaylin?" lissa raised her eyebrows.

Jaylin’s magnetic voice ca from the other side of the line. "lissa, I just went to the Eastern Garden. You were not there."

"Yes, I am at the airport now, with Nina," lissa said.

"Airport? Where are you going?" Jaylin asked in surprise.

I have sothing important to do." lissa thought for a mont and said, "By the way, there is a lot of gossip about you and on the Internet. Think of a way to withdraw them."

"I will. lissa, are you really not going to consider my suggestion? Unveiling your true identity might be the best solution right now."

lissa rubbed his eyebrows. "We’ll talk about it when I co back."

The plane took off and rushed into the clouds.

Looking out of the window, lissa imrsed herself in thinking.

In fact, she didn’t like taking a plane because she was afraid of heights.

The last ti she took a plane, she was with Murray.

Those past events, which were disappointing, ca into lissa’s mind again.

When the plane crashed, Murray held her and bailed out by parachute.

It was at that ti that lissa truly understood her feelings for Murray.

Thinking about it now, it was like a lifeti ago.

It was quite ironic.

She had devoted all her heart and soul to Murray, but he wholeheartedly loved another woman.

"lissa, what are you thinking about?" Nina’s voice interrupted lissa’s thoughts.

lissa ca back to her senses, looked sideways at Nina, and said indifferently, "Nothing."

"Are you thinking about Murray? In fact, you can’t let him go, right?" Nina said shrewdly.

lissa was stunned for a mont, "Why do you say that?"

"Intuition." Nina took a sip of juice and smiled.

Rather than intuition, it was more like a conclusion she ca to based on her understanding of lissa.

She and lissa had known each other for so many years, and no one could know lissa better than her.

lissa was silent for a mont, then said softly, "I don’t know either."

She was a little confused.

Although she resolutely canceled the engagent ceremony with Murray, many tis, she still could not help but think of him.

"Don’t deceive yourself." Nina patted lissa’s shoulder, "I can see that you still have feelings for Murray, and he is the sa as you."

Is he the sa?

How is that possible?

"Nina, stop joking around. Don’t you know that the person Murray likes is Lily?" lissa said in a muffled voice.

"I know that you do mind this. That’s why you did not hesitate to cancel your engagent with Murray."

Nina put down the juice, turned to look at lissa, and said very seriously, "You love chasing perfection, especially when it cos to love, you can’t tolerate any flaws.
