Early the next morning, lissa went to the police station again and went to Lover’s Lake with the two police officers she had t the day before, explaining the situation to them in detail.

The two police officers recorded all she said very carefully and didn’t dare to neglect a clue.

After all, Murray had personally asked them to find out the truth and restore lissa’s innocence.

By the ti lissa returned to the Gibson Corporation, it was almost noon.

She got out of the car and was about to enter the company when a few people suddenly rushed out and surrounded her aggressively.

"What are you doing?" lissa asked warily.

She didn’t know these people, but it was obvious that they were aiming at her.

lissa wondered, Are they trying to rob in the middle of the day?

"lissa, you are the murderer!" One middle-aged woman with white hair grabbed lissa’s clothes and shouted, "Everyone, co here! She is a murderer!"

lissa frowned and pushed the middle-aged woman away. She said coldly, "Excuse , who are you?"

"You don’t know who I am? You are the one who killed my daughter!" The middle-aged woman staggered and threw herself at lissa. Her eyes reddened and she wailed,

"You’re a vicious woman who pushed my daughter into Lover’s Lake. My poor daughter is only 25 years old. She is so young... Now she is lying in the hospital and unconscious. I don’t know if she will wake up..."

It turned out that the woman was Susie’s mother.

lissa ca to a sudden realization that these people were Susie’s relatives and friends, who had co to give her so trouble.

"Your daughter hasn’t died yet. Why are you crying and wailing?" lissa crossed her arms in front of her chest and looked down at the woman indifferently.

Susie was in a coma in the hospital. Instead of accompanying her, the woman ca to the Gibson Corporation to make a fuss. It was really funny.

"You, you dare curse my daughter." Cindy Hall, who was Susie’s mother, raised her right hand and exerted much strength to slap lissa’s face. "lissa, you’re a shaless bitch. I will kill you, you’re a vicious murderer!"

"Are you crazy?" lissa glanced at Cindy like she was looking at an idiot, grabbed her hand that was falling, and pushed hard.

Cindy fell to the ground. Then, she simply sat on the ground and shouted, "Everyone, look! The murderer is going to kill now! Look at her face. Don’t be fooled by the murderer!"

The few people who were with Cindy also cursed at lissa. They even pulled up a banner that wrote, "lissa Eugen is a murderer! She has to pay for what she has done!"

This group of people was making a ruckus at the gate of the Gibson Corporation. Many people who didn’t know what was going on had gathered around to watch the show. They pointed at lissa and discussed.

"How is this beautiful girl a murderer?"

"You don’t know that. The more beautiful a woman is, the more vicious she can be."

"I really couldn’t tell."

"Maybe you’re right."

Seeing more and more people coming over, Cindy put more effort into the performance. She sat on the ground with snot and tears coming out. She pointed at lissa and sobbed,

"Susie, my poor daughter, how can you be so miserable? You t this vicious woman, lissa, who pushed you into the water. She should die instead of you! If you die, I can’t live!"

lissa felt a headache coming on while looking at this unreasonable shrew.

She looked down at Cindy with cold eyes, saying, "Get out of my way!"

"Today, we are here to seek justice for Susie. We’ll make everyone know what you are!" Cindy stared at lissa.

The guard who heard the argunt walked out of the gate. Seeing that lissa was being pestered by this group of people, he quickly walked over and said, "Please leave quickly. Don’t block the entrance of the company or hinder the order here!"

"Sir, you ca at the right ti. This murderer deliberately tried to kill my daughter. Please arrest her!" Cindy grabbed the guard’s arm.

"If you don’t move away, I’ll call the police." lissa raised the phone in her hand and said coldly, "You deliberately frad , disturbed public order, and caused trouble. Do you want to go to jail?"

"How dare you threaten , you murderer?" Cindy stared at her.

After a pause, Cindy turned to the people who ca with her. "Why are you stunned? Hurry up and avenge Susie!"

Hearing this, the few burly n approached lissa. One of the tall n directly reached out to grab her.

lissa looked at them warily. Just as she was about to counterattack, a cold and stern male voice sounded, "Let her go!"

lissa looked in the direction and saw that Murray was walking towards her with steady steps.

Murray’s aura was so strong and cold that the people around felt stressed.

The crowd automatically cleared a path for him.

Even Cindy, who was crying just now, was so frightened that she kept quiet.

Murray walked to lissa and stopped before her. He gently held her hand and his eyes looked warm. He asked, "Are you alright?"

The warm breath of Murray ca from the palm of her hand, making lissa’s heart warm.

"I’m fine," she said, shaking her head.

Alex, who was following behind Murray, frowned and said coldly, "Where are these knuckleheads from?"

"lissa pushed my daughter into the water. She is the murderer." Cindy said fearfully.

Alex’s eyes blinked with disgust, "You’re still slandering Ms. Eugen?"

"Get them away from here," Alex ordered the security guard beside him.

Then Murray held lissa’s hand and led her into the Gibson Corporation. "Why didn’t you call when you were in trouble?"

If he hadn’t seen it from upstairs and arrived in ti, lissa might have been hurt by the group of lunatics?

lissa smiled. "I can solve this kind of minor matter myself."

Murray nodded slightly, approached her, and whispered in her ear, "Don’t take everything on your own. Next ti you are in trouble, you have to tell . I won’t let anyone hurt you."

Murray’s simple words moved her heart.

lissa flushed, saying, "I’m going to work."

After that, she quickly headed to the secretary’s office.

Looking at lissa’s retreating figure, Murray curled his lips.

Her shy appearance was very charming in his eyes.

lissa returned to her seat and received the promotional photos sent by the photographer. She checked them one by one and looked at them carefully.

The photos taken last ti were not bad. lissa pursed her lips in satisfaction.

Just as lissa was concentrating on her work, Katie, who was sitting next to her, suddenly exclaid, "My goodness, Ms. Eugen, is this you? You are trending!"
