Anthony sat down in the lobby. He was waiting to be invited in.
He had co to this place to see so experts that could help save his company. He believed that he wouldn’t go down easily like that. He was sure this was the work of Murray company.
Though he hit them first, but their retaliation was too severe on him. These people that he ca to et. He had known them for a long ti but their prices were always too expensive.
But now he was ready to pay anything to get his company running again.
He was invited after half an hour.
There were three old n seated in the office. They stared at him as he walked in.
"It’s you" one of the n chuckled. "How did you open your eyes wide until the matter got worse like this" he scolded him.
Anthony was stunned. He had not even narrated his ordeals to them.
"Next ti before you throw a jab, make sure you are ready to block" the second man laughed.
"Straight to business" the third of the n clapped his hand. "How much have they slamd on you? One billion dollars?" he asked.
Anthony shook his head. If he had been sanctioned one billion dollars. He would have given up already.
"Five hundred million dollars" he replied quickly.
"We are going to charge you three hundred million dollars and we will end all your problems" the first man told him.
"I don’t such amount of money" he wouldn’t co to them if he had that amount.
The three n leaned towards each other.
"We don’t negotiate here. It is one hundred million for each of us. Now that you said you can’t pay that. We have an alternative for you" the second man said.
"We will revive your company and we will be taking all the profits for three years. A year for each of us" the second man clarified. "What is the na of the company you are at war with?" he asked."Murray company" Anthony disclosed.Anthony thought that was a good idea. There are tis when market were bad.
"Assuming out of the three years, there were months that we lose. Will you take the month loss or add another extra month?" he asked to be clarified.
The three of them laughed hard.
"Don’t worry son, our three years is three years. Not a day behind thirty six months" the second man said again.
"And we don’t make losses. In the three years we will run the company for you" the first man laughed.
"That’s okay by " Anthony nodded.After lissa was turned down by her staff. She didn’t relent. She had been sourcing for materials and news to use against Anthony’s company.
A strange girl walked into her office.
lissa stared at her weirdly.
"Who are you?" lissa sound rude.
"I have brought what you wanted badly" the girl took so files out of her backpack and put them on the desk. "They are the poison to kill Anthony’s company" she asserted.
lissa reached for the file. The girl quickly retrieve it.
"No peek until you pay " she held the file to her chest.
"You are in my office. I have security and I can force you to give that information to " lissa laughed at the girl.
"You won’t do that. I know your secrets. I know what Anthony company did to and what you did to them" she chuckled. "I should tell you this, Anthony is more influential than you. He had sought the assistance of so very powerful n. He will get his company running within weeks and he will co after you" she said intensely.
"How much do you want?" lissa realized there was no point in arguing with her. She knew what she was doing well.
"What is it worth to you?" the girl replied cunningly.
"I don’t even know what you want to sell" she retorted.
"Let’s call it a padlock that will lock Anthony’s company for life. And only you will be able to unlock it" she said stylishly.
lissa was moved. That was what she wanted. A fate she could decide.
"I will pay you one grand" she said calmly.
"Is that what it is worth to you or what you can afford?" she chuckled.
"Just na a price and let know if I will but it" she said sternly.
"Twenty grand, I know what you are going through right now. I might let you pay twice or thrice" she snorted.
"Deal" lissa groaned.
She gave her the files. lissa opened it and saw a lot of addresses and numbers. None of it was clear to her. Anthony’s signature was at the bottom of the page.
"What is this?" lissa asked cluelessly.
"I already told you. Just publicize that and those who know it will know what it ans. Anthony will faint whenever he sees that paper in your hand" it seed the girl was just ranting. "Advance!" she stretched out her hands towards lissa.
lissa hesitated. She wasn’t sure whether to pay her such a high price. What she sold to her was not clear yet.
"Then give it back" she requested for the files.
lissa reached for her purse to pay her.
"First paynt is a minimum of ten grands. There is o negotiation about that one" she stated quickly.
"Are you planning on taking the money and run away?" lissa asked and stared in her eyes.
"Query once more and I won’t sell it less than thirty five grands" she threatened.
lissa counted the ten grands and gave it to her.
"Better" the girl took the money and got up from her seat. She was ready to leave.
"Why did you think this is very important?" lissa asked.
"Find out yourself, publicize it. I am sure you will rember imdiately" she assured her.
lissa took the pictures of the file with her cellphone. She uploaded it to the web.
"I see you are about to be surprised. Till next ti when I co for my balance. See you" the girl said and left.
