"I’m looking for lissa," Claire Gibson announced.
Vivian had been instructed by lissa in advance not to open the door for anyone, no matter who it was, so she would not be seen.
"My Vivian said she wouldn’t be seeing any visitors today, so please vine back later."
However, Claire Gibson was annoyed. She couldn’t bear being barricaded from being able to see lissa so she began quarrelling with Vivian.
lissa listened to the two of them quarrelling and felt a little regretful in her heart. She knew that Claire Gibson would want to co to see her, so she arranged for Vivian to stop her. But she didn’t expect Claire Gibson to be so stubborn and insist on seeing her.
It also happened that at that mont, Arno passed by the door of lissa’s house and saw this scene. He couldn’t stand watching Vivian and Claire Gibson quarrel so he quickly stepped in.
"Stop arguing, what’s the matter? Why are you two arguing like this?" Arno said, standing between them.
Claire Gibson looked at Arno angrily.
"it’s all her fault!" After saying that, she turned and left.
Arno froze in place, not knowing what was going on. He turned his head to look at Vivian for a reply, but she had already returned to the house. Arno wanted to go into the house as well, but lissa soon ca out.
"What are you doing here?" lissa’s voice asked coldly.
Arno smiled embarrassedly.
"I ca to see Vivian."
Arno knew in his heart that since Vivian had hidden in lissa’s house, he would tell lissa what happened between him and Vivian, so she could help them reconcile. But seeing her attitude now, he was beginning to doubt that such a thing would happen.
"Go and think about what you’ve done and then you can co and find Vivian again."
After speaking, lissa waved her hand and motioned for Arno to leave. But Arno stood his ground. He had finally found Vivian, how could he leave so easily?
"Just give
ten minutes with her, let
explain myself! Are ten minutes too much?" Arno begged.
lissa mouthed a yes.
Arno sighed. If there was one thing he knew about lissa, as long as she didn’t agree with things, she wouldn’t let you do it no matter how you plead. He turned and was just about to leave when he saw that Vivian’s parents also ca to Vivian. His face brightened up as an idea ca to his mind.
Vivian’s parents must have known that Arno and Vivian were having an affair, so they ca to Vivian. Since Vivian’s parents were also on Arno’s side, Arno believed he had a chance to see her. Even though her sadness was his fault, at least he deserved to be given a chance to explain himself.
Vivian’s parents saw Arno standing at the door, they understood what was going on. Her mother walked over to Arno and patted Arno on the shoulder.
"Don’t worry, I’ll talk to Vivian for you."
After speaking, she walked into the room.
lissa, who was originally in the house, turned to scold Arno as she heard footsteps approaching, but when she saw that it was Vivian’s parents, she didn’t know what to say for a while.
"Vivian, your dad and I are here." Mother Liu announced, smiling at lissa, before going in search of her daughter.
"Mrs. Timothy, I’ll go and call you Vivian," lissa said when she saw that she had no choice but to go back and find Vivian.
Vivian also heard her parents and without hesitation, followed lissa out.
"Vivian, if you give Arno a chance to explain, you’ll understand what happened," Her mother said imdiately as she saw Vivian.
Vivian hesitated for a while. She knew it was the right thing to do but she didn’t want to see Arno when she thought about what had happened at the hotel.
"There are not many n like Arno now. You have to cherish him," Liu’s mother continued to say to Vivian.
Vivian looked at her and nodded slightly. She then let Arno in. Arno imdiately knew her change of heart could be accredited to her parents, so he smiled at the two elders beside him.
"Vivian, I know I was wrong, and I promise you that I will never treat you like that again. Please give
another chance." There was so much sincerity in Arno’s voice.
lissa knew in her heart that Arno couldn’t be blad for the previous incident. Arno’s family was to bla. She formulated a plan in her mind to deal with them.
Soon, the matter between Arno and Vivian was also discussed, and the two were reconciled. Vivian’s parents were ready to leave, after all, the matter they ca for had been resolved. Just as they were about to leave, lissa stopped them.
"Mr. Timothy, Mrs. Timothy, can I speak to you for a mont?"
Vivian’s parents looked at lissa puzzled. From her tone, they judged that whatever lissa had to say must not be heard by Arno and Vivian so the two of them followed lissa inside one of the rooms.
"Mr. Timothy, Mrs. Timothy, I think Arno is a good person from all aspects, and Vivian is also very suitable, but there is only one thing that I think needs to be changed. That is Arno’s parents. The more they interfere with Arno’s private life, then even if Arno and Vivian are together, there will be no peace."
When Vivian’s parents pondered on her words, they felt that it was indeed reasonable.

After finishing speaking, lissa turned around and prepared to take Vivian’s parents to find the Dewar family’s parents.
