Chapter 852: Chapter 794 Additional Surprises

Murray’s heart sank as he attempted to wake the unresponsive lissa.

"Wake up, lissa, wake up," he said as he shook her. No matter what he did lissa still wouldn’t wake up. Murray quickly took lissa to the ER. He waited patiently in the waiting room, pacing as he hoped that nothing was wrong with lissa.

Seeing the attending doctor who had treated lissa before, Murray panicked and imdiately rushed over to him. "Doctor, what’s wrong with her? She was fine last night," Murray said.

"Mr. Gibson, please calm down. As soon as we get the test results back, I will update you," the doctor stated before leaving.

Murray was alone, standing at the door waiting anxiously, watching the ti pass, and lissa had not yet co out.

All kinds of terrible thoughts spread in his mind.

An hour later, the attending nurse updated Murray and let him know that she was now being transferred to a room. The doctor then pulled him aside to speak with him.

"What happened to her?" Murray asked. "Please tell

she’s going to be okay."

The doctor suddenly cracked a smile before saying, "Mrs. Gibson is pregnant."

As soon as the words ca out, Murray nearly collapsed from shock. "You...you...sure?" Murray was too excited to speak.

"Mrs. Gibson, I’ve been pregnant for about two months, but her body is exhausted. She needs plenty of rest," The doctor explained, and Murray nodded.

This was undoubtedly great news for the two of them.

Back in the maternity ward, lissa had woken up with Murray at her side. "I fainted again?" she asked weakly as she sat up slowly.

"Yes. I have good news and bad news," Murray said, taking her hand tenderly.

"Tell

the bad news first." lissa knew he never had good news.

"Your body is too weak, and you need to take ti to recover. So, no more worrying about work," Murray said.

"What about the good news?" lissa demanded.

"We’re going to have a baby!" Murray said excitedly.

lissa couldn’t believe it. With tears in his eyes, she looked at him and asked, "Really? I’m pregnant?"

The death of their last child made her very sad, and she thought that from now on, there would be no more children in her life.

Unexpectedly, her wish had co true, and she even had a child again.

lissa touched her flat belly with her hands, feeling the changes in the little life of .

"Are we really having a baby?" lissa asked again, and Murray nodded. This ti, she will do her best to protect this child.

"We’ll do right by this baby. I’ll do everything in my power to make sure that this baby cos to term healthy," lissa was terrified and did not want the grief to repeat itself.

Murray nodded because he was thinking the sa thing.

After a few days in the hospital, the two returned ho. Murray directly took care of all the housework and also hired three nannies to take good care of lissa.

Murray worked from ho to make sure that he was available if lissa needed anything that the nannies couldn’t provide.

"Where are you going?" Murray asked worriedly as he looked at lissa trying on outfits in their closet.

lissa said, "I haven’t been to the company for a long ti. I thought it would be good for

to go there to see how everyone was doing."

Murray got up to get his coat.

"Don’t worry, I’m all right. I’ll be careful," lissa said. No matter what lissa said, Murray did not feel comfortable and insisted on sending her to the company.

Even if lissa had not co to the company for half a month, the company was still running well. She arranged a eting with the managers of important departnts.

"What do you think happened to Ms. Eugen?"

"Do you think there’s another scandal?"

"I don’t think I can handle another scandal."

While the managers were talking about lissa’s arrival, lissa was already standing in the doorway.

"Hello everyone. I apologize for the late notice and for taking you all away from your work," lissa said, finally announcing her presence, "There are so things that we need to discuss imdiately."

lissa’s hand under the table touched her stomach from ti to ti, wanting to feel the existence of this new life.

"Recently, I have had to go out for a period of ti for so personal reasons of my own, so the big and small matters of the company will be handled specifically by each departnt lead. I request a work summary from each departnt. If there are special circumstances or things that cannot be resolved that day, you can call

directly. " lissa continued.

Usually, lissa handled everything on her own, but her main responsibility now was her child.

She didn’t want this child to be lost in vain like before.

The people downstairs were a little surprised to hear that, thinking it didn’t seem like sothing lissa would do.

They repeatedly asked, "Are you okay? Did sothing happen?"

lissa smiled and waved at them, "Don’t worry, I’m all right. But you’ve been with the company for a long ti, and I need to give you a chance to prove yourselves."

The eting was short and lean, taking only ten minutes. She believed that after the eting was over, the whole company would be pondering her reasons why she was going to be away from the coffee.

Back in her office, she noticed that Murray wasn’t there. "Where’s Murray?" lissa asked the secretary casually.

"Mr. Gibson went out, but he didn’t say where he was going," the secretary replied.

After the company’s affairs were explained, lissa was about to go ho. As soon as he left the company building, she saw a car parked at the door.

"Why did you co here? It’s been a long ti since I saw you. lissa responded with a smile.

Jill got out of the car and went directly to the passenger seat, where she opened the door for lissa.

"What do you want?" lissa asked.

"Get in the car first, and I’ll tell you when we get there," Jill responded. lissa smiled knowingly and got into the car.
