Chapter 655: Chapter 597 Annoyed
As soon as Nina heard Harley’s na now, she felt irritated. She looked at lissa and wanted to say what happened this morning, but she was afraid that lissa would scold Harley for a while because of this, so she decided to endure it.
After all, it was the matter between her and Harley.
"It’s nothing. I was just a little tired yesterday, so I couldn’t focus. I just need to sleep."
lissa didn’t say anything more. She simply advised her to rest and be careful when she was out. He walked to the living room and went to the balcony. She frowned and said to Harley in a low voice.
"Harley, what happened to you and Nina recently? Why does she seem to be in a bad mood? Did you bully her?"
Harley was also very worried. When he heard lissa’s words, he was also confused. He shook his head blankly and said innocently, "I don’t know what happened either. When I ca back from outside today, Nina was unhappy. She didn’t say anything when I asked her."
lissa sighed softly.
She looked at Harley’s face again. He was also very weird today. Although she was an outsider, it was related to her best friend. There were things that had to be said.
"Harley, Nina is pregnant with your child now. She is pregnant, and it is normal for her to be emotionally unstable sotis. Let
tell you. If you have any conflicts with her, solve them quickly. If she is in a bad mood, it will affect her own health. She decided to marry you. You can’t let her be unhappy. Do you understand?"
Although these words did not sound serious, lissa was warning Harley. Otherwise, she didn’t know what Nina would suffer.
"I know, li. I will treat Nina well," Harley nodded and said sincerely.
However, the thought of Sylvia gave Harley a headache.
He also didn’t know what he and Sylvia had done last night.
Sylvia said that everything had already happened.
However, Harley couldn’t rember anything.
Seeing Harley’s sincerity, lissa nodded in satisfaction.
"Alright, it’s ti for
to go back. I won’t disturb you." lissa stood up.
"I’ll send you out." Nina also stood up, wanting to send lissa out.
"Nina, don’t move. You need to rest more now." lissa quickly grabbed Nina.
Nina had been pregnant for more than six months, and her stomach seed to be bigger than that of an ordinary pregnant woman. Therefore, it was not convenient for her to move.
"Yes, Nina, go to bed and lie down." Harley quickly supported Nina.
"Don’t touch ." Nina subconsciously pushed Harley away.
Harley was stunned.
"Nina, what’s wrong?" Seeing Nina like this, lissa was also worried.
"Nothing." When Nina thought of the phone call, her heart was filled with anxiety.
However, in front of lissa, she didn’t want to show it.
She didn’t want lissa to worry about her.
"li, if you have sothing to do, hurry up and leave. I’m fine." Nina pursed her lips and took a deep breath.
lissa was still worried and could only tell Harley to take good care of Nina.
"li, don’t worry. I will take good care of Nina." Harley promised again and again.
"Alright, I’ll co back to see you in a few days. Nina, have a good rest." lissa nodded and left.
As she watched lissa leave, Nina felt a sense of loss in her heart.
lissa and Murray had finally been together and they were so happy, but she was a ss.
At first, she had a long relationship with Tom, but she ended up having a one-night stand with Harley and was pregnant.
It wasn’t easy for her to bury her feelings for Tom deep in her heart. She gradually accepted Harley and planned to spend the rest of her life together with Harley. However, Harley was a playboy and had a scandal with Sylvia.
Now that Sylvia had called to show off, how could Nina not feel disgusted in her heart?
Seeing Nina’s sullen look, Harley was very worried. "Nina, what’s wrong? Is there sothing on your mind? Tell
if there’s anything. Don’t keep it in your heart. It will spoil your mood. It’s not good for the baby either."
"What happened between you and Sylvia?" Nina decided not to keep this matter in her heart and directly asked.
It was unexpected. Harley’s heart sank.
He couldn’t tell Nina about this.
If Nina knew, she would probably be even angrier.
"I have nothing to do with her. I have already said it before. I just treat her like my sister," Harley said with a guilty conscience.
"Sister?" Nina sneered.
Harley’s guilt did not escape Nina’s eyes. Nina suddenly felt that it was a joke.
"Alright, don’t let your imagination run wild. Why don’t I take a leave today to stay with you at ho?" Harley tried to change the topic and reached out to hug Nina.
"Go and be with your lover, Sylvia!" Nina pushed Harley away.
Nina’s voice was a little loud. Carlee, who was outside, heard it. Carlee imdiately frowned and pushed open the door to Harley’s room. "What are you two doing?"
"Mom, why are you here? We are fine," Harley hurriedly said.
"Are you alright?" Carlee obviously didn’t believe it. She snorted. "Why are you two arguing? It’s so loud. I heard it from outside."
After a pause, Carlee glanced at Nina. "Nina, what did you say about Sylvia? Sylvia is such a good girl. Don’t speak ill of her behind her back."
Nina was dumbfounded.
It was clear that Sylvia loved her man, and she shalessly called to show off. And now, it seed that it was her fault.
Nina felt that Carlee was simply unreasonable.
But it was also true that Carlee never liked her. If it wasn’t for the fact that she was pregnant with Harley’s child, she would have been kicked out long ago.
"I’m going out for a walk," Nina said with a sullen face.
After saying that, she ignored Harley and Carlee and walked out of the room.
"Nina..." Harley wanted to chase after Nina but was stopped by Carlee.
"Nina is unreasonable. Who was she venting her anger?" Carlee said angrily as she looked at Nina’s back.
"Mom, Nina is pregnant. It’s inevitable that she will think too much. Don’t say that in the future."
"What? You can’t take it? I am her mother-in-law. What’s wrong with saying a few words? You haven’t married her yet, and now you are so biased. Will you forget your mother after marrying your wife?" Carlee was even angrier.
Harley only felt a pain in his head.
