Chapter 310: Chapter 252 Fall into His Trap
Not only did Murray not go away, but perversely, he even pressed lissa even tighter.
"I won’t," he said with a wicked smile.
lissa was speechless.
She rolled her eyes at Murray and said sulkily, "Go away. I’ve got to get the ointnt."
"What ointnt?" Murray asked curiously.
While Murray was in a daze, lissa pushed him away. "I made an anti-allergy ointnt."
"I’ll get it for you." Murray pulled lissa back again and asked in a clear voice, "Where is the ointnt?"
"It’s in the compartnt of my suitcase," lissa said, pointing to her suitcase.
"Okay, I’ll get it," Murray said lightly. He then looked at lissa caringly and continued, "You better lie down and rest."
Hearing that, lissa felt a warmth inside her.
This warm feeling was very cozy and special.
Murray found the ointnt in the suitcase and turned to ask lissa, "Is this it?"
lissa nodded.
Murray walked back to the bed and sat down.
"Give it to ." lissa said as she stretched out her hand for the ointnt.
However, Murray did not give it to her. He only looked at her deeply and said, "I will help you."
"What?" lissa was puzzled. Before she could figure out what Murray ant, she saw Murray open the ointnt.
Murray then squeezed the white ointnt onto his fingertip and carefully applied it to lissa’s face.
lissa felt the warmth of Murray’s fingertips mixed with the coolness of the ointnt on her cheek.
She felt like there was a soft feather stroking her cheek.
Being that close to Murray, lissa blushed. Her face started to get hot.
Her heart beat fast.
Noticing her embarrassnt, Murray said in a low voice, "Close your eyes."
His voice was so penetrating that lissa obediently closed her eyes, as if he was using magic on her.
Murray’s slender and nimble fingers moved along her cheek down to her shoulders.
Later, they moved down to her chest.
An electric feeling spread all over lissa’s body.
She opened her eyes and stopped Murray’s hand moving on her chest. "That’s it." There was a trace of shyness in her voice.
The bashful look on her face put Murray in an excellent mood.
He raised his eyebrows and moved his hand to lissa’s breasts while he said in a serious tone, "There is no ointnt here."
"There are no allergies there." lissa leaned backward and changed the subject. "By the way, Murray, did you send soone to investigate the flowers on the ground?"
lissa was almost certain that it was the flowers that caused her allergies.
She didn’t know the two girls who gave her the flowers. Soone must have asked them to do that.
She thought of the people who bore grudges against her. Susie was still in jail.
The rest of them, like Adela, Julie, Ryleigh, Anaya and Alayna, were all suspicious.
What confused lissa was why these won were crazy to set her up.
She didn’t want to fight these won.
However, they loved to find trouble with her.
That brought lissa a headache.
"I asked Alex to investigate it." Murray put down the ointnt and sat beside lissa.
lissa nodded and asked, "Did he find anything?"
"Not yet, but he should find sothing soon," Murray said lightly.
Because lissa had been seriously ill, Murray had put all his attention on lissa and had no ti to ask Alex about the investigation.
Just then his phone rang.
Murray picked up the phone and saw it was from Alex.
"Hey, Alex, have you found anything about it?" Murray put the call on speakerphone, allowing lissa to hear the conversation.
"Yes, Mr. Gibson. I asked soone to take those flowers for tests. It turned out that there was a large number of platinum components on the petals," Alex said on the phone.
Hearing this, lissa narrowed her eyes.
She had guessed it right. There was sothing wrong with the flowers.
"Have you found the two girls?" Murray asked coldly.
As long as they found the two girls, they would be able to find the person behind the attempt.
"I found them. They are two college students. But they don’t admit that they did sothing to the flowers. I can’t get anything out of them," Alex replied.
"Really? Keep at it!" Murray’s face turned gloomy.
"Yes!" Alex said respectfully.
After hanging up the phone, Murray changed glances with lissa.
"lissa, what do you think?" Murray asked.
lissa pursed her lips. "I don’t know the two college girls. Maybe soone asked them to do that."
After a pause, lissa changed the topic. "However, if soone really deliberately instructed them, it would be too obvious."
Murray nodded in agreent, "You are right. There were so many people at the press conference. If they were asked to do that, it would be easy to find the person."
The person behind the attempt couldn’t be that stupid. The person couldn’t have asked two students to present flowers to lissa in public to make her allergic.
"That’s right. It is quite possible that the two students are just scapegoats. Soone secretly did sothing to the flowers. I just do not know who this person is," lissa said solemnly.
"No matter who it is, I will not let the person go!" There was a chilly scowl on Murray’s handso face.
lissa lifted the corner of her mouth. "This person is coming for . I will settle it myself."
"What are you going to do?" Murray spoke in a low voice.
lissa smiled. "Of course, I’ll find this person and get my revenge."
"How are you going to find that person?" Murray furrowed his brows.
lissa shrugged her shoulders and said with a relaxed tone, "It’s very simple. Wait for that person to walk into the trap."
"What do you an?" Murray felt that lissa was about to do sothing dangerous. His voice took on a more serious tone.
lissa narrowed her eyes and said confidently, "This person tried to harm , but I am fine now. I bet she will definitely not try to give it up. She will try to harm
again. What I need to do is to wait for that person to put her head in the noose."
