Chapter 270: Chapter 212 Marc Spits out Blood
In a flash, it was afternoon.
After finishing the work at hand, lissa looked at the ti and found it was almost two thirty.
lissa had to go to the hospital to give Marc the special treatnt as soon as possible.
lissa packed her things and walked out of the company. Just as lissa was about to head to the underground garage, a familiar Rolls-Royce stopped right in front of her.
The car door opened and Murray got out. He strode over to lissa and said, "Get in the car!"
Before lissa could say anything, Murray reached out his hand and pulled her directly to the passenger seat.
lissa was a little speechless. Just as lissa was about to speak, Murray suddenly tilted his head, looking at her with deep eyes, and said very seriously, "lissa, please help my grandpa."
lissa turned solemn, pursed her lips, and said, "Don’t worry, I will do my best to cure Mr. Marc."
At the thought of Marc’s condition, lissa felt a little guilty.
On the way to the hospital, both lissa and Murray were a little gloomy, and they did not say anything all the way.
In the narrow space of the car, the atmosphere was slightly cold.
lissa leaned back in her seat and looked out the window, with her thoughts drifting away.
lissa used to take Murray’s car to and from work almost every day.
But now, lissa wondered whether this seat had beco Ryleigh’s exclusive.
What secrets did Ryleigh have behind her? lissa wondered.
Anthony did not find out any further information about Ryleigh, so lissa could only wait for Ryleigh to make a move and then make a beautiful counterattack.
In my opinion, Ryleigh cannot endure for long and would soon make a move.
As long as Ryleigh can’t hold back, there will be a flaw.
At that ti, I’ll definitely make Ryleigh, a goody two-shoes, drop the mask!
"lissa, we’re here." Murray interrupted lissa’s thoughts with a magnetic voice.
lissa returned to her senses and walked into the hospital with Murray. They soon arrived at Marc’s ward.
"Mr. Gibson, and Ms. Eugen," The two guards at the door greeted Murray and lissa respectfully.
"Has anything special happened recently?" Murray asked in a cold voice.
"We’ve got rid of a couple of the paparazzi. Everything’s fine," the bodyguard replied respectfully.
"Well," Murray responded indifferently.
Murray and lissa were about to enter when they suddenly heard the sound of footsteps.
"lissa, stop!" Sarah’s stern voice ca to lissa’s ears.
"What’s the matter?" lissa asked, glancing at Sarah indifferently.
Sarah walked over in high heels and looked at Murray, "Murray, are you really gonna ask lissa to treat your grandpa?"
"Yes," Murray said as he frowned.
"Murray, aren’t you afraid that lissa will secretly harm grandpa?" Claire stepped forward and glared at lissa, "lissa, what are you trying to pull?"
Before lissa could speak, Murray’s face darkened, and said, "Claire, shut up!"
"Sarah..." Claire took Sarah’s arm, feeling wronged.
"Claire is right. Don’t forget how your grandpa got sick! It’s all because of lissa!" Sarah raised her voice, "Now how could you go so far as to ask lissa to treat your grandpa?"
"That’s right! lissa is from the countryside and has never been to a dical university. She doesn’t even have the qualifications to practice dicine. How can we let grandpa take such a risk?" Claire echoed.
"So what?" lissa sneered at Sarah and Claire, who were trying to stop her, and said coldly, "Just because I learn from Luca, I am qualified!"
Seeing Sarah and Claire try to stop her, lissa felt that they did not want Marc to wake up at all.
What are the two of them thinking? lissa wondered.
"Murray, do you really believe that lissa can cure your grandpa?" Sarah frowned and looked at Murray.
"Yes, I believe in lissa," Murray said in a deep voice and his handso face was tense.
"Alright, if you put it that way, will you be responsible if anything happens to your grandpa?" asked Sarah coldly.
"I’ll take responsibility!" Murray raised the corner of his lips and declared.
Sarah and Claire both shut their mouths and followed Murray and lissa into the ward.
"Jose, how is my grandpa?" Murray walked to the bedside, glancing at Jose who was sitting at the side.
Jose stood up and answered respectfully, "Dr. White said that after receiving Mr. Luca’s treatnt, Mr. Marc has been getting better these days."
"That’s great," Murray said and finally felt a little relieved.
"Let
take a look," lissa said as she walked forward.
lissa reached out to check Marc’s condition and found that compared to his condition in the beginning, Marc was clearly much better.
This ans that Mr. Marc is slowly recovering, lissa thought.
"lissa, how is it?" Murray asked with concern.
"Everything is fine with Mr. Marc. Just as Mr. Luca has said, Mr. Marc will wake up after two more treatnts," lissa said with a smile.
"Then please perform the special treatnt on grandpa." Murray raised his wrist and looked at the ti, and found it was just three days away from the last ti Luca perford the treatnt.
"Then I’ll start." lissa nodded and carefully took out a few tools from the dicine box that Luca left for her.
lissa closed her eyes and recalled how Luca perford the technique.
When lissa opened her eyes again, her eyes were filled with confidence.
Under everyone’s gaze, lissa plunged the needles in her hand into Marc’s chest without hesitation. lissa perford swiftly and precisely, without the slightest hesitation.
"Can lissa do it..." Claire whispered when she saw how focused lissa was, but Murray glared at her.
Claire obediently shut up.
Under Murray’s fierce gaze, everyone did not dare to make any noise, for fear of disturbing lissa.
Half an hour later, lissa finally completed the entire treatnt. As she put away the tools, she heaved a sigh of relief, "Done!"
"lissa, how is my grandpa?" Murray could not wait to ask.
"It went very smoothly." lissa glanced at Marc on the bed and smiled, "I’ll give him another treatnt three days later. Mr. Marc will be fine."
"Thanks, lissa." Murray stared at lissa with dark eyes and said in a deep voice.
"This is what I should do," lissa said with a thin smile.
After all, lissa was sowhat responsible for Marc’s illness.
Thus, lissa thought it was her duty to cure Marc.
Just then, a faint cough ca from the bed.
Then, Claire suddenly cried out in alarm, "Oh, my God! Grandpa is spitting out blood!"
