Chapter 142: Chapter 83 Publicly Dating Another Man
After leaving the police station, Murray got into Alex’s car.
Alex started the car and drove in the direction of the company.
Murray’s handso face looked so ruthless as he tensely stared at the car in front of them.
It was Jaylan’s car.
lissa was currently sitting in the passenger seat of the car.
"Follow them," Murray spoke in a deep voice.
"Mr. Gibson, aren’t we supposed to go back to the company? There’s a high-level eting tonight." Jaylin asked with caution.
Murray glanced at him coldly. "Cancel the eting."
"Okay." Looking at Murray’s cold face, Alex nodded and hurriedly followed Jaylin’s car.
Jaylin brought lissa to a high-class foreign restaurant.
Before this, he had asked his assistant to reserve the whole restaurant.
His fans throughout the country, especially female fans, were too crazy.
Jaylin didn’t want anybody to disturb the ti he spent with lissa.
In order to prevent the previous incident from happening again, Jaylin had specially told the boss of the restaurant not to let anyone in.
"What do you want to eat, lissa? The steak here is fine." Jaylin handed the nu to lissa and said in a profound voice.
lissa took the nu, casually flipped through it, and said absent-mindedly, "I’ll have a steak."
"lissa, what’s wrong? Are you still unhappy about the incident with Susie?" Seeing that lissa wasn’t in a light mood, Jaylin asked with concern.
"I don’t care about such a matter at all." lissa smiled faintly.
"Then why are you unhappy?" Jaylin asked.
Jaylin sensed that lissa wasn’t in a good mood at his first glance of lissa this morning.
He wondered, since it wasn’t because of the accident by the lake, then why?
Could it be related to Murray?
Facing Jaylin’s concern, lissa changed the topic, "By the way, you’ve told
that the company’s future developnt plan has been completed, right? Let’s take a look at it now."
"Okay." Jaylin took out the iPad, clicked on the proposal, and began to explain it to lissa.
lissa sat next to Jaylin. Their heads leaned close as they discussed the future of the company.
When Murray arrived, he saw this dazzling scene.
He saw lissa and Jaylin sitting close to each other and whispering sothing that he had no clue about.
And there was a faint smile on lissa’s face.
Murray fixed his cold gaze on lissa.
He wondered what the relationship was between lissa and Jaylin.
Murray, who was still upset, was about to walk over when he was stopped by the owner of the restaurant. "Sorry, sir. Our restaurant has been booked tonight, so we don’t serve other guests."
"Go away." Murray exuded an ice-cold aura, which was so strong that nobody around dared to breathe smoothly.
"Mr. Gibson." the owner of the restaurant shivered when he saw Murray’s face clearly.
It was the leader of the wealthiest family here, Murray Gibson!
The boss of the restaurant could not afford to offend Murray!
After a mont of hesitation, the boss let Murray in.
Hearing the noise, lissa looked up and saw that Murray was walking toward her with an unhappy face.
lissa darkened the screen and was about to speak, but Murray frowned and said coldly, "Leave with , lissa."
lissa ignored him and lowered her head to eat the steak as if Murray were transparent to her.
Murray reached out his big hand and pressed lissa’s palm. He said briefly, "Let’s go!"
"Murray, watch your behavior." Jaylin stood up and stood before lissa.
"This has nothing to do with you," Murray spoke coldly, pushing Jaylin to the side. Then he dragged lissa away from the seat.
"That’s enough, Murray. Can’t you see that I’m having dinner?" lissa swung her arm and struggled free from Murray’s grip.
"The food here is not good enough. I’ll take you to a better diner ." Murray suppressed the anger in his heart and spoke.
However, lissa didn’t take it. She replied carelessly, "I think the place is nice. I like it here. Mr. Gibson, if you have nothing else to say, please leave. Don’t disturb my dinner with Jaylin."
Hearing this, Murray’s face beca even colder.
"lissa, don’t forget who you are!" Murray’s eyes were seething with fury.
He thought lissa’s actions were intolerable. How dare she publicly date Jaylin in his presence?
Does she ever think of
as her fiancé?
lissa sneered and pursed her lips. "Mr. Gibson, I have never forgotten that we only have a three-month contract."
"A three-month contract?"
Hearing that, Jaylin’s eyes glead with a hint of ecstasy.
In other words, there was no actual relationship between lissa and Murray.
Therefore, Jaylin still held a chance.
At the thought of this, Jaylin’s entire body was filled with power as he stepped forward and tried to pull Murray away, "Let go of lissa!"
"Jaylin, if I rember correctly, aren’t you pursuing your boss? Don’t tell
you want to date both?" Murray smiled sarcastically.
Jaylin’s gaze deepened as he stared at lissa and said in a deep voice, "My boss is..."
Seeing that Jaylin was about to tell the secret, lissa frowned as she hurriedly interrupted Jaylin’s words, "Jaylin, you should go back first."
"No!" Jaylin grabbed lissa’s hand, "Unless you leave with ."
He couldn’t leave lissa alone with Murray, who was ruthless like a ghost from hell.
lissa quietly pulled her hand back and smiled. "I will solve my own problem. You may go back first, okay?"
"I won’t go." Jaylin insisted. He couldn’t let himself leave in such a situation.
lissa beca impatient and said seriously, "I asked you to go. Can’t you hear ?"
Seeing that lissa was angry, Jaylin’s heart fiercely twitched.
He understood lissa. As long as she had made up her mind, no one could change it.
Therefore, Jaylin looked at her deeply and said helplessly, "Then you’d better be careful."
As he spoke, Jaylin turned to leave.
Murray stared at Jaylin’s back as he left and his handso face tensed up.
A mont later, Murray withdrew his gaze, turned around, extended his hands, and grabbed lissa’s shoulder.
"What are you doing, Murray?" lissa subconsciously took a step back.
However, Murray strode forward and closed in.
A chill ran down lissa’s spine. When her back touched the wall, lissa realized that she had no space to retreat.
