Hesitatingly,she opened her handbag and took out a bundle of cash."Listen to .Don’t do part-ti jobs anymore.Take these thirty thousand dollars.You can wait for a suitable job.Just don’t trouble yourself with these petty jobs anymore."
Even if they don’t share that bond of being lovers,Nina still wished and hoped that Tom could live a happy and comfortable life.

After listening to her,he kept that bundle of cash back in Nina’s hand.Then he took a deep breath and gathered so courage just to say,"Nina,I respect the fact that you thought about .I really appreciate that.But to be honest,I don’t need your money.

Although things seem so easy for you,they aren’t.All we could now be is friends,nothing more."

He knew Nina well,so he didn’t try to confess his love to her.
"I think you are right.Being friends is less complicated.If you allow,can I co to see you and your daughter more often?"He asked.
"Sure."
Nina nodded with a smile and gave the money to Tom again."Since we are friends,don’t dare to refuse ,and I am just lending you so money for the ti being.You have to return the amount to ."She laughed.

After saying goodbye to Nina,he went back to his shabby rental house.

"Why?Didn’t you say that you would work hard in this city and bring your parents here in the future?"He recalled and mumbled.

With a little grin on her face,she muttered,"As you know I’ve already lost the most important thing here.And I can’t undo things now,it’s better for
to rather go back to my hotown and live a peaceful life."
Tom understood what she ant.He frowned and took out the money from his pocket.
""Lily,if you have already decided then I think I can’t do anything.So please keep this money as compensation.As you already decided to go back to your hotown.
I wish you a happy life in the future."Tom offered her the bundle of cash.
Seeing that arrangent by Tom,Lily’s face twisted in an instant.
"What do you an?Do you think I’m selling myself?"it
With an angry look on her face,Lily pushed away Tom’s hand.
"I know you don’t love .But I have lost my most important thing to you.You may think that I am not worthy of you,you can’t insult
with money.This is not acceptable."
Lily raised her head in sha and anger,tears streaming down her face again.
At that mont,Tom was a little flustered.He thought that he was a little blunt or maybe harsh to her.
So he wiped her tears and asked in confusion,"what should I do to make up for you then?"
When Lily heard Tom’s defeated voice,she pouted and said in a soft voice,"I want you to take care of
until I feel a little better."

Obviously,Tom didn’t understand what exactly she ant.
"Okay,I’ll take care of you for a while.Let’s look for a job together tomorrow."Tom tried to get hold of the situation.
After promising her he smiled gently and opened the door to invite Lily inside his rental house.

Mom,I have an appointnt with lissa tonight.So I won’t be able to eat dinner with you."She lied to her parents.
Although she felt bad after doing that,she didn’t have any other way.She changed her clothes and went out.
After a short while,she arrived at the address which Carlee had sent her.It was a restaurant..
As soon as she entered,she was led into a private room by a waiter.
Like always Carlee was wearing luxurious clothes,which showed that she was a rich lady from head to toe.
"Here you are.Have a seat."
She said in a proud tone.
Sitting opposite to Carlee,Nina was clear with her thoughts and she was not in a mood to tolerate her future mother-in-law as before.
So she said straightforwardly,"Mrs.Timothy,if you have sothing to say,just say it.I have to go ho to take care of my child."
