"I’m here to save you!" Colding bellowed as he surged skyward, throwing a punch toward Kulad’s back.
At that mont, Kulad’s fist was just about to smash into the head of the Independent Clan Lord. If Kulad killed him, his own back would be exposed to Colding’s attack. The thought ignited a fire in Kulad’s blood-red eyes. He was determined to kill the Lord before him. After all, the Secret Alliance was already at a disadvantage. If both Lords escaped, the situation would beco dire—their mbers might even be wiped out.
With that thought, the great wings on Kulad’s back abruptly unfurled. His speed exploded in an instant. With a single punch, he shattered the Independent Clan Lord’s head, killing him on the spot. Imdiately after, Kulad’s wings flapped, and he threw another punch, striking at the second Lord.
"Kulad, you dare!" Seeing one of the Lords killed, Colding’s blood-red eyes blazed with fury. The next mont, the massive wings on his back also spread wide. His speed surged as he charged toward Kulad.
"What wouldn’t I dare? Die!" As he spoke, Kulad’s figure swiftly closed in on the other Lord. At that mont, a fierce light glead in the targeted Lord’s eyes as he roared, "Honorable Lord Colding, you must avenge !"
With those words, the Lord’s body erupted in a bloody light as he charged toward Kulad. Kulad didn’t dodge. He t the charge head-on, his fist swinging.
BOOM!
The two collided, and the Lord was instantly blown to pieces.
However, the Lord’s suicidal attack abruptly halted Kulad’s montum, and at that very mont, Colding arrived. Colding’s eyes were filled with fury and a powerful killing intent. The Lord had clearly sacrificed his own life to buy him ti. Colding had to seize this opportunity.
BANG!
Colding’s punch struck Kulad squarely in the back. Kulad was sent flying, spitting out a mouthful of fresh blood as his face turned pale again from the obvious trauma.
Kulad landed on his feet. Though he had taken a solid hit from Colding, he had no regrets. In his mind, trading such an injury for the lives of two Lords was a worthy exchange.
"Colding, co! Now it is our turn to fight. I will kill you!" Kulad declared. An aura of Darkness surged around him, beginning to heal his internal injuries.
"Hmph. With what will you kill , Kulad? That severely wounded body of yours?" Colding’s tone was cold as he dove down from mid-air, aiming a punch at Kulad’s head. At that mont, Colding wished he could just smash Kulad’s head open and leave with Cain’s Left Hand.
"Even with this wounded body, I can kill you!" Kulad replied coldly. His body flickered as he dodged Colding’s attack. He imdiately reappeared at Colding’s side, his fist swinging violently toward Colding’s abdon. Seeing this, the wings on Colding’s back flapped, allowing him to swiftly evade the attack. At the sa ti, Colding’s palm struck out, stabbing toward Kulad’s throat. Kulad dodged again, evading the assault. In an instant, the two were locked in combat, unleashing a flurry of terrifying attacks. Each was bent on killing the other in a battle of extre ferocity.
Chen Anhun, Gu Feng, Lin Kuang, and the others watched quietly, smiles on their faces. The more these two fought amongst themselves, the happier the observers beca. If they both died in battle, that would be even better. It would save them the trouble.
However, Britney’s expression was strained, and her body trembled slightly. A strange sensation echoed deep in her heart. That feeling seed to be a summoning, and the one calling out to her was Cain’s Left Hand. Britney didn’t understand what was happening, but a powerful desire surged from deep within her, an urge to get closer to Cain’s Left Hand. However, Britney knew this was not the ti to reveal herself. The battle was at its peak. If she went out, her companions would be discovered, a consequence she couldn’t accept.
At that mont, an arm reached over, pulling her into a tight embrace. Britney stiffened slightly and glanced at Lin Kuang beside her. It was his arm, of course, that held her. Lin Kuang had noticed her trembling. Though he didn’t know what was wrong, he wanted to support and comfort her. Looking into Lin Kuang’s encouraging eyes, warmth flooded Britney’s heart. She leaned into his embrace, suppressing the strange emotions rising within her.
anwhile, in the center of the conflict, Kulad and Colding’s fierce battle raged on. Both were now wounded. As for the other Blood Clan mbers, they were nearly all dead. The few who remained were half-dead themselves, their fighting strength completely gone.
Looking at the state of the battlefield, Colding knew that if the fight continued, even if he managed to kill Kulad, he himself would be gravely wounded and on the verge of death. It could even end in mutual destruction. After all, they had clashed more than once. He knew Kulad’s strength well and had no confidence he could guarantee a kill.
That’s enough. I should leave now. There’s no advantage in fighting any longer! With this thought, Colding made his decision. His attacks beca wildly ferocious, a completely reckless onslaught. In an instant, Kulad’s expression changed slightly as he was forced to retreat.
However, just as Kulad prepared for a desperate counterattack, Colding ran.
That’s right—Colding’s wings flapped as he bolted straight for the cave entrance. Kulad’s expression sharpened. If Colding managed to escape with Cain’s Left Hand, it would be a disaster for the Secret Alliance. With that in mind, the wings on Kulad’s back spread wide. The next mont, his wings flapped, and he swiftly gave chase.
However, just as Kulad began his pursuit, a scream suddenly ca from ahead.
Imdiately after, a figure was sent flying backward at high speed. The sight startled Kulad, who quickly dodged to avoid being hit.
BANG!
A deafening crash echoed as the figure slamd into the stone wall.
Kulad froze, his gaze falling upon the figure slumped at the base of the wall. A second look made his expression change—it was Colding.
