At this, Lin Kuang began to ponder whether Britney’s words were true. After all, she was a mber of the Blood Clan; Lin Kuang couldn’t simply take her at her word. "I’m not entirely sure. Adolf didn’t tell us the specifics, and we’re just the advance party. I expect more mbers of the Blood Clan will arrive in the East Sea in the next few days. It is Cain’s left hand, after all, and both alliances desperately want it.

Hearing his words and seeing him move to leave, Britney quickly stood up, took two quick steps, and blocked his path.
"What is it?" Lin Kuang asked.
"I... I have sothing to ask you," Britney stamred, seeming unsure how to begin.

"Can... can I follow you? If you don’t protect , Adolf will definitely capture . With you around, he probably wouldn’t dare try anything. After all, not even Duke Cros was a match for you." Britney looked up at Lin Kuang with big, pitiful eyes, appearing utterly adorable.

The mont the pattern was complete, the strange energy intensified. The bizarre symbol then floated up and circled once above her head. In an instant, it shot skyward and vanished without a trace.
The instant the symbol disappeared, Lin Kuang suddenly felt a profound connection to Britney, as if sothing now linked the two of them together. He furrowed his brow, his instincts screaming at him to be on guard.
Seeing Britney’s pale face and how she looked ready to collapse at any mont, Lin Kuang instinctively caught her in his arms. "Britney, what did you do? What’s wrong?"
"This is our Blood Clan’s oath. If I even think of harming you, I will explode and die.
"Through this oath, we will feel a close connection and even be able to sense each other’s location.
"It just consus a lot of blood to perform, especially since it requires a drop of Prival Blood. It’s similar to how you Ancient Warriors feel after losing your Essence Blood," Britney explained weakly, resting in his arms.
Hearing this, Lin Kuang nodded. He now believed her completely. His trust wasn’t entirely due to the Blood Clan’s oath; it was also because of the Force of Nature. "There’s nothing you can do. I have to recover on my own," she replied.
Lin Kuang paused for a mont before shaking his head. "No, there has to be a way. The Force of Nature is urging to help you. What should I do?"
Hearing this, Britney was stunned, as if she hadn’t expected the Force of Nature to be so insistent on helping her.
"Well... it’s not impossible," she finally said after a mont’s thought. "Un-unless you let drink your blood. Only the blood of a powerful individual can help recover, and you... you are powerful."
"Alright. Where?" Lin Kuang asked without hesitation.
"The neck is best," she replied.
"Fine. Go ahead," Lin Kuang said, tilting his head to the side. "Don’t worry about how much you take. Help yourself."
"Then... here I co," Britney said, her pink tongue darting out to lick her lips, as if Lin Kuang were the most sumptuous feast she had ever seen.
"Go on," Lin Kuang affird.
