Chapter 78: Chapter 78 It’s My Type

For so reason, looking into Lin Kuang’s deep eyes, this person felt an incomparable fear. It was as if he wasn’t looking at a pair of eyes, but a bottomless abyss that made him tremble uncontrollably.

"I-I’ll talk! I’ll talk! We were sent by Liu Dong! He told us to teach you a lesson," the man said quickly, his body shaking uncontrollably.

Hearing this, Lin Kuang couldn’t help but frown. "Liu Dong?" He didn’t rember ever offending anyone by that na; the na didn’t ring a bell at all.

"Who is Liu Dong? What does he do?" Lin Kuang asked.

"Liu Dong? He’s the son of the director of the Bureau of Industry and Comrce. As for why he’s after you, I have no idea. He just told us to co, so we ca," the guy stamred, not daring to delay for even a second.

Lin Kuang frowned again. He was certain he didn’t know Liu Dong and had no connection to the Bureau of Industry and Comrce.

"Which gang are you with? Who’s your boss?" Lin Kuang asked again.

"O-Our boss is Li Daozi. He’s the big boss in this area. Although we can’t compare to the major gangs, no one around here dares to ss with us. Because Liu Dong has our back, everyone shows us so respect. But even without Liu Dong, our boss, Li Daozi, is a sobody in the underworld. Normal people wouldn’t dare provoke him."

The guy spilled everything he knew, rattling off the information smoothly and swiftly without Lin Kuang even having to ask.

Lin Kuang nodded, had the man leave Li Daozi’s address, and then threw him onto the ground.

At that mont, Lin Guo’er gazed at Lin Kuang’s not-so-broad back, her beautiful eyes filling with infatuation.

That domineering silhouette stood proudly, exuding an intense charisma. The sight made Lin Guo’er unable to resist the urge to throw herself into his arms.

Just as Lin Kuang turned his head, a fragrant breeze wafted by as Lin Guo’er decisively threw herself into his embrace. Her warm, upturned lips fiercely planted two kisses on his cheek.

Lin Kuang was stunned, staring blankly at her. Has this woman gone mad?

Lin Guo’er, too, snapped out of her emotional surge. Seeing Lin Kuang’s stunned gaze, her pretty face reddened slightly.

"What are you looking at? It’s just a little reward for sending those guys packing!" she huffed, stepping out of his embrace.

Truthfully, she was reluctant to let go. His embrace, while not particularly broad, was incredibly comforting and provided a profound sense of security. It was the kind of embrace Lin Guo’er had always yearned for but never found.

Watching her step away, Lin Kuang gradually ca back to his senses.

"Then why didn’t you reward

a few more tis?" he suddenly asked.

Lin Guo’er paused, then a radiant smile blossod on her pretty face again. "Hee hee, Little Brother Kuang," she giggled, looking into his deep eyes. "If you want more, why don’t you co ho with big sis tonight? You might get a whole lot more."

"Uh, let’s forget it. I have things to do tonight, so I probably can’t go," Lin Kuang said, sounding sowhat helpless. He still had to treat Yang Ruoxi tonight. Although delaying for a night wouldn’t be a huge problem, her Extre Yin Cold Qi had just been suppressed, and he didn’t want any complications to arise.

Hearing his reply, Lin Guo’er felt a slight pang of disappointnt, though she let none of it show on her face.

"Tch. I bet you wouldn’t dare. So, what’s next? Should we head back?" she asked.

Lin Kuang shook his head. "No need. They probably won’t be back, and it doesn’t matter if they do. Besides, Shilin, Duoduo, and the others are having a great ti. I don’t want to stop their fun halfway through."

"Tsk, tsk. Big sis just loves a domineering man like you," Lin Guo’er said with a doting laugh.

Lin Kuang rolled his eyes at her. "You’re nuts!"

With that, he strode back toward the room.

Lin Guo’er wasn’t the least bit angry. On the contrary, the smile on her pretty face grew even brighter.

"Little guy, sooner or later, I’m going to make you mine. You’re just my type!" Lin Guo’er murmured with a grin, standing where she was. Her delicate tongue licked her lips, as if she were already planning how to savor the dish that was Lin Kuang.

The next mont, Lin Guo’er also returned to the room. Inside, the singing continued, and everyone carried on as if nothing had happened. After all, the incident had been over in less than three minutes—about the ti it takes for a trip to the restroom. Liu Shilin and the others were so engrossed in their singing that they hadn’t noticed the commotion outside.

They sang until well past eleven, close to midnight, before the group finally decided to leave.

The little witch, still not having had her fill of fun, wanted to go to a bar. However, after receiving a stern glare from Liu Shilin, she just pouted and fell silent. Her doll-like face clearly showed her reluctance.

Liu Shilin couldn’t be bothered with her expression, while Lin Kuang reveled in her misfortune. Seeing the little witch get shut down put him in an excellent mood.

Seeing Lin Kuang’s smug grin, the little witch beca so irritated that her large eyes glared at him fiercely, as if she wanted to eat him alive right then and there. Lin Kuang just shrugged nonchalantly, completely ignoring her expression, which only infuriated her to the point of grinding her teeth.

Only after Lin Guo’er, Duoduo, Susu, and the others had left did Lin Kuang, Liu Shilin, and the little witch finally depart. The three of them, in two cars, headed straight back to Liu Shilin’s villa.

Upon arrival, Lin Kuang left imdiately. After all, he still had to go to Yang Ruoxi’s place.

"Hmph, that jerk. Wandering out this late at night, he’s definitely up to no good," the little witch grumbled as she watched his retreating figure.

Liu Shilin was also puzzled, but since it was Lin Kuang’s private business, she felt it wasn’t her place to ask. After all, what am I to him? The thought made her inexplicably irritable. She turned and went upstairs, leaving the little witch alone downstairs.

The little witch didn’t seem to mind. She took a shower and sat down in the living room to watch TV.

anwhile, Lin Kuang had already arrived at Yang Ruoxi’s villa. Luckily, I inford her beforehand; otherwise, showing up this late would have been rather awkward.

"What took you so long? I was about to go to sleep," Yang Ruoxi asked from the sofa as Lin Kuang walked into the living room.

"Ahem, it was a company gathering. I couldn’t get away, so I’m a little late," Lin Kuang explained with a smile, his eyes scanning her graceful figure.

Yang Ruoxi was wearing a thin nightgown, exuding a certain girl-next-door charm.
