Chapter 509: Chapter 509: The People of the Gao Family

Lin Kuang and the others froze mid-al. No one had ever dared to kick down their door while they were eating. The arrogance of the newcor was astounding. They all turned to look at the doorway.

At the entrance stood a muscular man of about thirty, flanked by two others.

Lin Kuang’s brow furrowed at the sight of him.

Before Lin Kuang could speak, Song Lingping burst out in anger, "Gao Dongzhan, what’s the aning of this?!"

The newcor was indeed from the Gao Family. To be precise, he was Gao Dongran’s cousin, the son of Gao Dongran’s second uncle. Gao Dongzhan and Gao Dongran had been inseparable since childhood, with Gao Dongzhan always by his younger cousin’s side as he grew up. The bond between them was incredibly strong.

Upon learning of Gao Dongran’s death, Gao Dongzhan nearly charged to the East Sea on a killing spree. In the end, a harsh scolding from his father forced him to calm down.

However, although Gao Dongzhan didn’t go to the East Sea, his temper had beco extrely volatile over the last two days. He frequently picked fights or drank heavily to vent his grief and anger. Just yesterday, upon hearing that Lin Kuang had returned, the enraged Gao Dongzhan nearly stord the Lin Family residence.

After calming down, he restrained himself. After all, that was the Lin Family’s territory. He wasn’t sure if he could even teach Lin Kuang a lesson, but one thing was certain: if he dared to cause trouble there, he would be signing his own death warrant.

So Gao Dongzhan didn’t go. He just waited, biding his ti for Lin Kuang to erge. He was certain that Lin Kuang couldn’t stay inside the Lin Family’s gates forever. Today, when Lin Kuang arrived at the Royal Club, Gao Dongzhan heard the news and imdiately ca over with his n.

Even though he couldn’t kill Lin Kuang in front of so many people, he could at least cripple him. He might face a harsh punishnt for it, but he didn’t care.

Gao Dongzhan ignored Song Lingping’s shouting, his bloodshot eyes fixed on Lin Kuang.

"Lin Kuang, you killed Dongran. I’m here today to settle the score!" Gao Dongzhan growled, suppressing the fury in his heart.

"Oh? Gao Dongzhan, you can eat things carelessly, but you can’t speak carelessly. Do you have any evidence that I killed Gao Dongran? Besides, a piece of trash like him wasn’t even worth my ti to kill," Lin Kuang said calmly, looking at Gao Dongzhan.

Gao Dongzhan sneered, his words dripping with mockery. "Lin Kuang, when did you beco such a coward that you won’t even admit to what you’ve done?"

Gao Dongzhan wasn’t a fool; he knew there was no concrete evidence, but he wanted to force Lin Kuang into a confession.

Hearing this, Lin Kuang couldn’t help but sneer back. "Gao Dongzhan, don’t try to goad . If I didn’t do it, I didn’t do it. Moreover, a piece of trash like Gao Dongran isn’t worth my effort. If you ca here looking for trouble, just say so. Stop beating around the bush. I’m trying to enjoy a drink here. If you have no other business, go back where you ca from."

"Haha, still acting tough to the end! You won’t admit it, will you? It doesn’t matter. I’ll make you," Gao Dongzhan said with a cold laugh, then strode toward the dining table.

Seeing this, Song Lingping moved to intervene but was stopped by Lin Kuang’s hand. Lin Kuang knew that while Song Lingping was strong, he was no match for the brute in front of them.

"Sit down. I’ll handle this," Lin Kuang said, rising from his seat and walking toward Gao Dongzhan.

The two n strode toward each other without a word. In the next instant, they simultaneously threw a ferocious punch. At the sa ti, the power within their bodies surged explosively. Lin Kuang made no attempt to conceal his strength. Open Door, Rest Gate, Life Gate, Injury Gate, and Du Gate—all Five Gates burst open as a terrifying force surged forth.

Gao Dongzhan was no slouch either. A trendous force erupted from within him that, while slightly weaker than Lin Kuang’s, was nearly on par.

BOOM!

In an instant, their fists collided. The sound of the impact was terrifying, like two speeding cars smashing into each other.

Gao Dongzhan’s large fra was sent staggering back six or seven steps from the force of Lin Kuang’s punch, his face flushing red. Lin Kuang, however, remained calm and stood his ground, as if his feet were nailed to the floor.

Seeing this, the expressions of Song Lingping, Su Huachen, and the others changed. They hadn’t expected Lin Kuang to have beco so powerful.

Gao Dongzhan was even more stunned, his eyes fixed on Lin Kuang, filled with disbelief. A little over a year ago, Lin Kuang was no match for him; Gao Dongzhan could have injured him severely. Yet now, his strength had grown to the point where Gao Dongzhan was no longer his match. He couldn’t believe it.

"How... how is this possible?" Gao Dongzhan stamred, his eyes wide with disbelief.

"There’s nothing possible or impossible about it. This is reality," Lin Kuang stated calmly, clasping his hands behind his back.

Hearing this, Gao Dongzhan’s expression flickered, turning ugly. "That’s just Inner Strength! I refuse to believe you could have improved so much in just one year!" he snarled.

In the next mont, Gao Dongzhan charged again, his massive fist smashing viciously toward Lin Kuang.

Unfazed, Lin Kuang neither dodged nor evaded, throwing another punch to et the attack head-on. But Gao Dongzhan wasn’t foolish. He knew he couldn’t win in a direct clash, so he didn’t intend to et the blow.

In a split second, Gao Dongzhan’s fist opened into a palm. With incredible agility, he evaded Lin Kuang’s punch and viciously grabbed for Lin Kuang’s wrist.

Seeing this, Lin Kuang let out a cold laugh, his movents even quicker. His own fist opened, his straightened fingers stabbing like a spear toward Gao Dongzhan’s palm.

His expression hardened, and Gao Dongzhan quickly flipped his hand, turning it into a vicious chop aid at Lin Kuang’s wrist. If that knife-hand strike landed, Lin Kuang’s arm would undoubtedly be crippled.

However, how could the battle-hardened Lin Kuang be so easily defeated?

Before Gao Dongzhan’s chop could land, Lin Kuang’s spearhand dropped, his fingers clamping down firmly on Gao Dongzhan’s wrist.

Feeling his wrist caught in a vice-like grip, Gao Dongzhan’s expression turned grim. But Lin Kuang had already made his next move.

With a violent tug, Lin Kuang threw Gao Dongzhan off balance, causing him to stumble forward. In that split second, Lin Kuang raised his right leg and slamd a brutal knee strike into Gao Dongzhan’s abdon.

Gao Dongzhan’s face twisted in horror. Lin Kuang’s knee strike was both fast and ruthless, leaving him no ti to dodge. If it connected, even if it wasn’t fatal, the blow would leave him severely injured.
