Chapter 479: Chapter 479: One Against Three

The newcor was none other than Pei Jingcheng, the second master of the Pei Family’s older generation. He was also Pei Jingqi’s second older brother and Pei Kuoyan’s second uncle.

"Second Brother, what brings you here?" Pei Jingqi asked with surprise as he walked over.

"I ca because I knew you two couldn’t kill Lin Kuang. So, I had to co myself," Pei Jingcheng replied, his tone detached.

Hearing this, Pei Jingqi’s face flushed red, but he said nothing more. After all, his brother was speaking the truth.

Lin Kuang watched Pei Jingcheng calmly. Through his powerful Perception, he could sense that Pei Jingcheng was incredibly strong. At the very least, Pei Jingqi and Pei Kuoyan combined were no match for this old man.

"Hmph. So, you’re quite certain you can keep

here?" Lin Kuang asked lightly, glancing at Pei Jingcheng.

"Indeed. At the very least, I can tie you down. With their help, killing you won’t be difficult," Pei Jingcheng said with a smile, standing with his hands clasped behind his back in a relaxed, confident posture.

"Since you’re so confident, then let’s see you try. I’d like to see how you plan on killing ," Lin Kuang said with a laugh, his tone laced with sarcasm.

"Alright, I’ll grant you your wish." As he spoke, Pei Jingcheng drew a treasured sword, its tip aid directly at Lin Kuang.

Seeing this, Lin Kuang didn’t hold back. The Naless trembled in his hand as he aid its tip back at Pei Jingcheng.

"Jingqi, Kuoyan, attack together! Kill him," Pei Jingcheng commanded coldly. To obtain the Naless Sword, matters like honor were irrelevant; all that mattered was the sword itself.

Hearing Pei Jingcheng’s command, Pei Jingqi and Pei Kuoyan hesitated for a mont before taking their positions beside him. Clearly, they were determined to kill Lin Kuang today. That was their sole purpose.

Seeing this, Lin Kuang couldn’t help but laugh heartily. A surge of bravado rose in his chest as the Naless trembled in his hand. "Co on, then! Let

see what strength your shaless Pei Family possesses that could possibly keep

here!"

As Lin Kuang laughed, the True Qi in his body roared to life, and his formidable power surged to its peak.

While Pei Jingcheng remained calm at Lin Kuang’s taunt, the expressions on Pei Jingqi and Pei Kuoyan’s faces turned ugly. They were Lin Kuang’s seniors and considered themselves masters; ganging up on him three-to-one felt utterly shaless.

"Attack!" Pei Jingcheng ordered, seeing their hesitation.

The next mont, he vanished from his spot, his sword thrusting straight for Lin Kuang’s heart.

Pei Jingcheng’s Swordsmanship was exquisite. If this were a one-on-one duel, Lin Kuang might have been interested in learning from it. However, facing a three-on-one battle against masters, he didn’t dare be arrogant. He did not deny that Pei Jingcheng, in particular, was definitely stronger than him.

With that, Lin Kuang made his move. The Naless danced in his hand as he executed the Willow Catkin Technique, his speed instantly hitting its limit as he vanished. The next instant, the Naless struck out, as untraceable as an antelope hanging by its horns.

Seeing this, Pei Jingcheng’s expression changed drastically. Even though he had been observing the prior fight, he never expected Lin Kuang could execute the Willow Catkin Technique and the Antelope Hanging Horn Sword Technique to such a masterful degree in such a short ti.

Based on this monstrous learning ability alone, Pei Jingcheng felt it was imperative to eliminate Lin Kuang. Otherwise, in a few years, who would be left that could possibly suppress him?

With this thought, Pei Jingcheng’s body flickered, and he narrowly dodged Lin Kuang’s attack.

At that exact mont, the attacks from Pei Jingqi and Pei Kuoyan arrived. A saber and a sword aid for Lin Kuang’s heart and abdon respectively—both were killing blows from the outset.

At this sight, Lin Kuang’s expression grew grave. Not daring to be the slightest bit careless, he pushed his Willow Catkin Technique to its absolute limit. His entire body moved like a piece of drifting willow catkin, completely without a trace.

The Naless in his hand swayed as he unleashed the Antelope Hanging Horn Sword Technique. Each thrust was just as seamless and untraceable as the last, creating a terrifying sight.

However, Lin Kuang’s opponents were equally formidable. Pei Jingcheng and the other two were all experts from the older generation. Although Lin Kuang was powerful, under their combined pressure, it was highly questionable whether he could even escape.

Of course, Lin Kuang had absolute confidence in his own abilities, especially his Willow Catkin Technique. This was the source of his daring to attempt this battle.

The battle grew increasingly intense. Sabers and swords danced through the air, their flashing light painting a scene of terrifying combat. As the fight raged on, Pei Jingcheng’s expression beca exceedingly grave. He could clearly feel that Lin Kuang’s power remained at its Peak State, showing no signs of weakening whatsoever. He had to admit that such an abundant reserve of True Qi was simply monstrous.

"Enough! Stop skirmishing with him! Go for the kill and finish him off!" Pei Jingcheng snorted. His treasured sword flashed as his formidable power erupted without reservation, launching a Fatal Strike at Lin Kuang.

Seeing this, Pei Jingqi and Pei Kuoyan followed suit, unleashing their full power without holding anything back, intending to finish Lin Kuang quickly.

Instantly, the pressure on Lin Kuang increased exponentially.

Damn, these three old geezers are really tough. I’m truly not their match.

However, if anyone else from the Ancient Martial Realm knew that Lin Kuang could fight these three to such a standstill, their jaws would have dropped in shock. Pei Jingcheng was considered a top-tier expert even within the Ancient Martial Realm. While Pei Jingqi and Pei Kuoyan were a bit weaker, they were still formidable masters in their own right. Yet, Lin Kuang was just a young man in his twenties. To be able to reach such a level was a testant to his incredible prowess.

"Well, I’m out of here! I’m done playing with you lot. See you around!" Lin Kuang said with a laugh before turning to flee without the slightest hesitation.

Lin Kuang’s purpose in coming here was to test the Pei Family’s strength and establish his own might, letting them know he was not soone to be trifled with. Having now more or less achieved his goals, there was no reason for him to stick around.

Seeing Lin Kuang turn and bolt, Pei Jingcheng, Pei Jingqi, and Pei Kuoyan were montarily stunned.

"Where do you think you’re going?!" Pei Jingcheng snorted coldly. He pushed his own Willow Catkin Technique to its limit, shooting forward like a black streak.

In response, Lin Kuang also pushed his Willow Catkin Technique to its maximum speed. After his two recent breakthroughs, Lin Kuang’s mastery of the Willow Catkin Technique was certainly no weaker than Pei Jingcheng’s; in fact, it was arguably even a bit superior.

While Pei Jingcheng’s overall strength was greater, when it ca to pure speed, he found it surprisingly difficult to catch up to Lin Kuang.

Sensing the speed difference between them, Pei Jingcheng’s expression turned extrely ugly, filled with utter disbelief.
