Chapter 452: Chapter 452 Unwilling to Die
Despite his shock and confusion, Chen Zhongyu was still an expert, and it didn’t affect his performance. His hands danced through the air as the Tai Chi Force surged continuously, clashing head-on with Lin Kuang without any intention of dodging.
At this mont, the three young n who had followed Chen Zhongyu were dumbfounded. In the Chen Family, Chen Zhongyu was one of their top experts, easily ranked among the top five! However, the fact that this top-tier expert was only evenly matched with Lin Kuang, unable to gain even the slightest advantage, was simply astonishing. What shocked them even more was Lin Kuang’s incredible composure, as he faintly seed to be gaining the upper hand. This was beyond belief.
It wasn’t just the three of them who sensed sothing was wrong; Chen Zhongyu, in the midst of the battle, also felt imnse pressure. No matter how he attacked, Lin Kuang stood like an immovable mountain, preventing him from advancing even an inch. Furthermore, Lin Kuang’s attacks were sotis ferocious and domineering, and other tis as gentle as water, winding around and neutralizing his own attacks.
This was simply pushing the Tai Chi Force to its limit. Tai Chi was all about the interplay of hardness and softness, advancing with both in unison—that was its ultimate truth. Once a person reached the stage where hardness and softness were integrated, they no longer even needed the so-called Tai Chi Force. Within the Chen Family, the only ones who could achieve this level were Chen Zhongxiang and the family head, Chen Lingzhen.
Lin Kuang had not yet fully mastered this technique, but he already showed the fundantals. Before long, he would be able to completely control this Force. This realization made Chen Zhongyu both envious and resentful. Even he had not mastered this technique, yet Lin Kuang had already reached the threshold. How could he not be jealous?
Damn it, where the hell did he learn this bizarre Tai Chi? Even if that girl from the Yang Family taught him, he shouldn’t be able to use it to this extent! Chen Zhongyu thought bitterly, feeling extrely frustrated.
However, Lin Kuang’s movents beca smoother and more exhilarating the longer he fought. His entire being seed to rge with nature once again, a truly marvelous feeling. Eventually, Lin Kuang simply lded completely with the natural world around him, fully embracing its way. He completely forgot he was in a battle, yet his body continued to fight on pure instinct.
At this point, Chen Zhongyu noticed the change. Seeing Lin Kuang attacking instinctively with a serene smile on his face and his eyes closed, Chen Zhongyu’s jaw nearly dropped.
"You... you bastard, is this... is this for real? He... he just had an epiphany?! Just like that???"
Chen Zhongyu’s eyes widened, his pupils filled with utter disbelief. This was a state that martial artists dread of but could rarely achieve. Upon entering this state of sudden realization, a martial artist could integrate and master their incomplete martial arts. Any lingering questions they had about their techniques would also be completely resolved. An epiphany was just such an inexplicable, mysterious state that even the martial artist who entered it couldn’t explain it.
And Lin Kuang had just stumbled into this coveted state. This was just insane, dumb luck. Of course, if Chen Zhongyu knew that Lin Kuang had already experienced an epiphany just a few days prior, he would probably want to die on the spot.
As this thought consud him, Chen Zhongyu’s movents inevitably slowed. The shock was too great, causing a lapse in his concentration. At that mont, Lin Kuang was at his absolute peak. Chen Zhongyu’s distraction was a fatal, self-inflicted mistake.
Just then, Lin Kuang’s palm shot out from a bizarre and tricky angle. Chen Zhongyu failed to dodge in ti, and the palm struck him directly on the ribs beneath his armpit.
CRACK!
With a loud crack, an unknown number of Chen Zhongyu’s ribs broke, and his entire body was sent flying, crashing heavily to the ground. Instantly, his face turned deathly pale. Blood stread from the corner of his mouth, and his eyes filled with unwillingness.
anwhile, Lin Kuang, lost in his epiphany, continued to attack on pure instinct. Executing the Willow Catkin Technique, he charged forward.
The three n who had co with Chen Zhongyu were just a step away from him. Watching their leader get sent flying by a single palm strike, their eyes widened in disbelief. The mighty Chen Zhongyu, a renowned figure in the Chen Family, defeated just like that? This was utterly unbelievable!
However, as Lin Kuang charged toward them, the three n couldn’t just stand by. Without a second thought, they rushed forward, their palms striking out at Lin Kuang. Three n, six palms, rapidly converged, completely enveloping his figure.
A smile touched Lin Kuang’s lips. Still in that enigmatic state, he attacked again. His palms danced. With extre speed, he sent out three consecutive strikes, each one landing squarely on the n’s hearts!
SMACK! SMACK! SMACK!
A series of crisp sounds rang out as the three n were sent flying. They crashed to the ground, blood gushing from their mouths as they died instantly.
Watching the three n die, Chen Zhongyu’s eyes turned crimson. Murderous intent soared from his gaze, and he was enraged beyond asure.
"Aaaah! Lin Kuang, I will kill you!" Chen Zhongyu roared as if he had gone mad.
The next mont, he staggered to his feet. Disregarding his own grievous injuries, he smashed a palm toward Lin Kuang’s head, attempting to crush his skull. However, his hopes were grand, but reality was harsh.
Just as his palm descended, Lin Kuang’s hand moved again. His own palm slipped beneath Chen Zhongyu’s, and with a flip of his wrist, he seized the vital pulse point on Chen Zhongyu’s wrist.
Feeling this, Chen Zhongyu’s expression changed drastically. His left hand whipped around, smashing once again toward Lin Kuang’s head in a desperate, do-or-die attack.
At that mont, Lin Kuang suddenly tightened his grip on Chen Zhongyu’s pulse point. Chen Zhongyu’s face contorted as his body stiffened instantly. His attacking left hand froze in mid-air, unable to advance another inch.
It was then that Lin Kuang’s right palm quietly struck out, landing directly on Chen Zhongyu’s heart.
THUMP!
Chen Zhongyu’s face instantly flushed a deep red as he sprayed a mouthful of blood. Luckily, Lin Kuang dodged in ti, or the blood would have drenched him.
Having coughed up the blood, Chen Zhongyu glared at Lin Kuang, his eyes filled with bitter unwillingness. The next instant, his body slowly slumped to the ground. He stared blankly at the sky, dying with his eyes wide open, full of unresolved grievances.
anwhile, Lin Kuang stood calmly on the spot, a faint smile on his lips. He was still lost in his state of enlightennt, showing no signs of waking.
Liu Shilin and Lin Guo’er stood just inside the doorway, silently watching the entire scene unfold. When they saw that Chen Zhongyu and all his n were dead, they finally let out a collective sigh of relief. However, when their gazes fell on Lin Kuang, they were taken aback, as he was just standing there with a vacant, foolish smile, looking as if he had lost his mind.
