Lin Kuang drove Yang Ruoxi back to her villa.

By this ti, Yang Ruotong had already gone to rest. It was almost midnight, and she was completely unaware of the danger her sister had faced.

"Alright, you should get so rest. Sis Tong is probably already asleep," Lin Kuang said softly.

"Mhm, be careful on your way back," Yang Ruoxi replied softly. As she spoke, she leaned in and kissed him on the cheek.

"Ah, I just rembered," Lin Kuang said with a sly grin, looking at her pretty face. "Soone said that when we got back, she would... you know... do *that* with . Isn't it ti to make good on that promise?"

Hearing this, Yang Ruoxi's face instantly flushed red. She had completely forgotten about it, and if Lin Kuang hadn't brought it up, it wouldn't have crossed her mind at all.

"Th-that... You jerk! Not today! How about in two days? Is that okay?" she stamred, her face burning.

Doing that kind of thing at ho always made her feel so shy. Besides, her sister is here. How embarrassing would it be if she heard anything?

"In two days? When exactly is that?" Lin Kuang asked with a teasing smile. "Is soone planning to go back on their word?"

"No, of course not! How could I go back on my word? Just wait two days. It'll be within this week, okay?" Yang Ruoxi insisted.

Hearing this, Lin Kuang reluctantly nodded. "Alright then, I'll agree, my dear Ruoxi. You better not trick , or else... hehe, I'll have to take the initiative myself."

"I know, I know, you jerk," Yang Ruoxi said, exasperated.

"Mhm, I'm leaving now. Call

if you need anything."

With that, Lin Kuang swept her into his arms and gave her a fierce kiss on her ruby-red lips before getting up to leave.

Watching him go, Yang Ruoxi's face was still flushed. After a mont, she quietly went upstairs to wash up.

anwhile, Lin Kuang drove quickly toward Lin Guo'er's villa.

Less than half an hour later, he returned to the villa to find both Liu Shilin and Lin Guo'er asleep on the couch. He had told them not to wait up, but clearly, they hadn't listened. Seeing them, a wave of warmth and helplessness washed over him.

After a mont's thought, he went upstairs. His clothes were covered in blood, and he couldn't possibly carry the girls up like that. He stripped down and took a quick shower.

Returning downstairs, Lin Kuang carried Liu Shilin and Lin Guo'er to their respective rooms. Finally, he slipped into bed beside Liu Shilin and held her as they drifted off to sleep.

「At five in the morning, Lin Kuang woke up right on ti.」

He got out of bed and, after washing up, began practicing the Willow Catkin Technique in the estate's courtyard. He was extrely pleased with this movent technique. It was precisely because of this technique that he had managed to eliminate so many of Liu Daotong's disciples with such ease yesterday. After practicing for an hour, he felt his mastery of the Willow Catkin Technique had deepened, which was a fantastic feeling.

He checked the ti. It was already past six. It was too late to go to Yang Ruoxi's place now. With that thought, he returned to the living room.

Sitting in the living room, Lin Kuang lit a cigarette, his gaze contemplative.

Setting Liu Daotong aside, there was the Chen Family. They would certainly discover the deaths of Chen Zhongrui and Chen Shaowen, though it would take so ti. Once they found out, they would surely send people to kill him. This was a very serious problem. He had already offended the Fan Family, had a bounty on his head from the Assassin World, and was dealing with trouble brought by his "Naless" alias. Adding the Chen Family to that list would make things severe.

*Phew*, what a ss. Fortunately, everything here in the East Sea is settled for now. I'll just deal with the rest as it cos. It's not like I have anything else to do, and being idle is really boring.

Just then, Liu Shilin ca down the stairs, yawning.

"What ti did you get back last night?" she asked, seeing Lin Kuang on the sofa.

"A little after midnight," Lin Kuang said, walking over to her. He sounded a bit exasperated. "I told you two not to wait up for . Why don't you ever listen?"

"Because we're silly, that's why. We just worry about a bad egg like you," Liu Shilin retorted, exasperated.

"COUGH, COUGH. That's not right at all. I'm a good person; the whole world knows that," Lin Kuang said with the utmost seriousness.

"Pah! Like anyone would believe that," Liu Shilin scoffed. "I'm going to wash up, then I'll make breakfast."

"Alright, my dear Shilin," Lin Kuang said with a grin.

Liu Shilin rolled her eyes at him and went upstairs to the bathroom.

Lin Guo'er still isn't up yet. Is it because Aunt Flo is visiting?

A short while later, Liu Shilin ca back down to start cooking. Only then did Lin Guo'er finally erge from her room, rubbing her bleary eyes.

"My dear Guo'er, you're so lazy. Shilin has already started cooking, and you're only just getting up," Lin Kuang teased with a laugh.

Hearing this, Lin Guo'er glared at him. "What do you know? You're supposed to get more sleep when it's that ti of the month. It's good for you."

"Huh? Is that really a thing?" Lin Kuang asked curiously.

"Of course," Lin Guo'er stated earnestly.

"Oh, I see. I honestly had no idea," Lin Kuang said, as if having a revelation.

Lin Guo'er shot him another look before turning to go upstairs and freshen up. By the ti she ca down, Liu Shilin had finished making breakfast. The three of them ate with smiles, the atmosphere pleasantly warm.

"By the way, has the Little Witch called recently? I hope that girl isn't having *too* much fun," Lin Kuang couldn't help but ask during the al.

"No, she's doing just fine. She ssages

on WeChat every day and sends lots of pictures. Who knows when she'll be back," Liu Shilin said with a smile.

"Oh, what's this WeChat thing?" Lin Kuang asked with genuine curiosity. He had no idea what it was, having never used it before.

"Huh? You don't know?" Liu Shilin and Lin Guo'er stared at him as if he were so strange creature.

"Uh, no. What is it?" Lin Kuang asked, genuinely puzzled. He truly had no idea.

Seeing his expression, the two won realized he probably wasn't lying. Besides, there was no reason for him to lie.

"COUGH, COUGH. WeChat is a huge social dia app," Liu Shilin explained with a thoughtful smile. "How should I put it... You can use it to send text and voice ssages, make video calls, send pictures, and more. It's really convenient."

"Oh? Then can you set one up for ?" Lin Kuang asked, his interest piqued.
