Lin Kuang hid in a large tree, his expression cold as he watched the scene unfold. He was not a bloodthirsty man, but these people wanted to kill him, so he absolutely would not spare them. With that thought, he slid silently down the tree trunk like a great roc. His sword, Naless, flashed continuously, reaping the lives of his pursuers.

As the death toll rose, even Chen Zhongrui and Liu Daotong began to feel a chill of fear. After all, these were n dying one after another, and the ntal pressure was terrifying.

"Lin Kuang! If you have any guts, co out and fight !" Liu Daotong roared, his eyes bloodshot.

Chen Zhongrui echoed the challenge, hoping to bait Lin Kuang out of hiding. However, Lin Kuang refused to take the bait and continued his slaughter from the shadows.

Gradually, fewer than ten of Liu Daotong's disciples remained. Their fear reached an extre point, and they were on the verge of collapse. "I… I can't do this anymore! Please, spare us! Please spare us!" one of them suddenly cried out, dropping to his knees.

That's how people are; once one person takes the lead, others quickly follow. Sure enough, the mont the Taoist knelt to beg for rcy, the remaining few followed suit, all kneeling and crying out for their lives.

Hidden behind the trees, a faint smile touched Lin Kuang's lips. "Go, then," Lin Kuang said calmly. "If you had begged for rcy earlier, I wouldn't have bothered killing you."

With that, Lin Kuang used the Willow Catkin Technique again. His figure flickered, making it impossible for Liu Daotong and Chen Zhongrui to pinpoint his location. Upon hearing Lin Kuang's words, the Taoists hesitated for a mont before scrambling away like stray dogs, frantically fleeing the place that had nearly driven them mad. They fled with such speed that they must have cursed their parents for not giving them two extra legs. No matter how loudly Liu Daotong shouted, they didn't even look back, fleeing with desperate abandon. This infuriated Liu Daotong so much that he looked ready to bite soone.

Watching them leave, Lin Kuang gripped Naless and slowly walked toward Liu Daotong and Chen Zhongrui. "You wanted to kill , didn't you? Co, then. I'm standing right here, giving you the chance," he said calmly, stopping ten ters in front of them.

The mont they saw Lin Kuang appear, the eyes of Chen Zhongrui and Liu Daotong turned crimson. They looked like maddened beasts, ready to devour him alive.

"What's wrong? Are you scared?" Lin Kuang asked coldly.

"Scared? Us? Lin Kuang, we're going to tear you limb from limb!" Liu Daotong roared. His disciples were his source of wealth. Now that Lin Kuang had killed most of them and the rest had fled, Liu Daotong was consud by rage. Even if he killed Lin Kuang, it would take a long ti to train a new batch of disciples. Moreover, finding disciples as loyal as this group would be incredibly difficult.

"Is that so?" Lin Kuang said serenely. "Co and get . I'm waiting." His sword, Naless, swayed gently in his hand, letting out a low hum that sounded like a cry of excitent.

Hearing Lin Kuang's placid words, an inexplicable fear blood in Liu Daotong's heart, though he couldn't say where it ca from. Taking a deep breath, Liu Daotong forcibly suppressed his fear and glanced at Chen Zhongrui. "Brother Chen, let's go. Let's finish this kid off," he said.

Chen Zhongrui nodded. "Let's go. Kill him!"

With that, Chen Zhongrui charged, his palms weaving through the air as he unleashed a Tai Chi attack straight at Lin Kuang. Seeing this, a look of mockery crossed Lin Kuang's eyes. The next mont, he pushed off with his feet, his body drifting like willow catkins. His movents were erratic and unsettlingly strange.

This was the Willow Catkin Technique. The greater his mastery, the deeper his understanding of the art beca. Thus, he could execute it with effortless freedom, a truly profound sensation. Its profound aning could never be understood by soone who hadn't experienced it firsthand.

Watching Lin Kuang's unpredictable movents, Chen Zhongrui's expression remained calm. For Tai Chi is a martial art that uses stillness to overco motion. The principles "When the enemy moves, I do not," and "When the enemy moves, I move" may seem contradictory, but they are the very essence of Tai Chi. The first ans that no matter how an opponent tries to bait you, you remain steadfast as a mountain. The second ans you only act at the mont the opponent's attack arrives. That is the way of Tai Chi. Therefore, no matter how Lin Kuang moved, Chen Zhongrui remained still.

However, Chen Zhongrui seed to have forgotten that he wasn't the only one who knew Tai Chi. Lin Kuang knew it too—and he was better. Seeing Chen Zhongrui's static defense, the cold smile returned to Lin Kuang's lips.

Since you want stillness, I'll grant you eternal peace!

With that thought, Lin Kuang's figure abruptly vanished. His speed was so extre he was like a ghost, his path impossible to trace. At the sight, Chen Zhongrui's eyes narrowed. Even Liu Daotong, who was just charging in, grew solemn.

Just then, Lin Kuang's figure reappeared directly behind Chen Zhongrui. The razor-sharp Naless in his hand stabbed toward the spot on Chen Zhongrui's back over his heart.

"Brother Chen, watch out!" Liu Daotong bellowed upon seeing Lin Kuang's sudden appearance. Simultaneously, his speed exploded to its absolute limit as he rushed toward Lin Kuang, intending to kill him.

At that sa mont, a dense wave of True Qi erupted from Chen Zhongrui's body. He stomped down hard, spinning to narrowly evade Lin Kuang's sword strike. Imdiately after, Chen Zhongrui put force into his hands, unleashing a powerful energy from his palms. With a sweeping motion, he used a redirecting force. Lin Kuang's body was already moving straight forward, and pulled by this technique, he was thrown off balance and pitched forward.

As Lin Kuang stumbled, Chen Zhongrui's gaze turned impossibly cold. The next mont, he twisted at the waist and slamd his shoulder viciously into Lin Kuang's left arm! This was the signature Shoulder Strike of Tai Chi, also known as Mount Collapse! Chen Zhongrui's timing and angle of attack were perfect—a textbook execution.

At the sa ti, Liu Daotong closed in, his Seven Stars Sword aid straight for Lin Kuang's back. The two n's attacks were perfectly coordinated, placing Lin Kuang in an extrely dangerous predicant. A profound sense of crisis welled up in Lin Kuang's heart, yet his expression remained as cold and impassive as ever, without the slightest change.
