With that thought, Pei Yuandong no longer hesitated. His palms moved even faster, a ceaseless dance that sent a sky full of palm shadows enveloping Lin Kuang once again.

Lin Kuang remained composed, deploying his Chaotic Tai Chi to continuously dissipate Pei Yuandong's attacks. The two were evenly matched, neither able to gain an advantage.

However, Pei Yuandong was moving too fast, and his stamina consumption was far greater than Lin Kuang's. In contrast, Lin Kuang's Chaotic Tai Chi was a technique designed for the weak to overco the strong; not only did it consu little stamina, but its power was also more than sufficient.

If this continued, Pei Yuandong would inevitably be defeated. Both Lin Kuang and Pei Yuandong himself were well aware of this.

Realizing this, Pei Yuandong rapidly retreated, instantly dodging Lin Kuang's attack and putting distance between them.

Seeing this, Lin Kuang didn't press his advantage, instead retracting his attack and standing still.

Pei Yuandong's chest was heaving, his breathing noticeably rougher, while Lin Kuang appeared perfectly calm, as if nothing had happened.

The two stood their ground, eyes locked. Pei Yuandong was the first to speak. "Co on, Lin Kuang. Use your full strength."

Their fight so far had rely been a probing exchange; neither had used their full power. It was, in truth, nothing more than a warm-up.

After he finished speaking, Pei Yuandong no longer concealed his strength. A formidable power burst from his body, and a terrifying force filled the air. At the sa ti, he drew a longsword from his waist. The blade carried a faint chill, its cold light glittering under the sun. It was clearly a fine sword.

"This sword is nad Dong Han," Pei Yuandong said softly, his gaze tender as he looked at the blade, as if it were his own child. "Although it is not as renowned as Naless, it is still a treasured weapon."

Hearing this, Lin Kuang nodded slightly and drew Naless from his own waist. The mont it was unsheathed, a dazzling, cold light flickered along its blade, and a frigid, terrifying aura surged forth.

"This sword is Naless. I ca upon it by chance," Lin Kuang said gravely, pointing his blade at Pei Yuandong.

Simultaneously, Lin Kuang unleashed his full power. The Open Door, the Rest Gate, the Life Gate, and the Injury Gate—all four gates burst open. A formidable power erupted from him, radiating an imnse sense of strength.

Feeling the terrifying power emanating from Lin Kuang, Pei Yuandong's expression shifted. He now had a clear understanding of his opponent's strength—it was even greater than he had anticipated.

In the next mont, both n shot out like lightning, closing the distance in an instant. Their swords flashed, a blur of motion as they imdiately clashed.

Capitalizing on Naless's sharpness, Lin Kuang attacked without reservation.

Pei Yuandong, however, was at a disadvantage. Although his Dong Han was also a fine sword, it was a notch below Naless. Every ti the two blades t, Naless would chip a small notch into Dong Han's edge.

Pei Yuandong was well aware of this, but so clashes were unavoidable. His only option was to defeat Lin Kuang as quickly as possible.

With that thought, Pei Yuandong fully activated his movent technique. He beca like a shadow, moving so incredibly fast that even Lin Kuang struggled to keep up.

He's so fast! If I could learn that movent technique, my combat power would skyrocket. Lin Kuang thought, his desire to defeat Pei Yuandong growing even more intense. After all, if he won, he could obtain the technique from him. The prospect alone was exciting.

Even as Pei Yuandong's speed increased, Lin Kuang maintained his calm, completely unaffected. His Naless sword alternated between slashing, chopping, and thrusting. Despite Lin Kuang's simple and seemingly slow attacks, Pei Yuandong couldn't land a single blow; all his attacks were completely blocked. But Lin Kuang knew this couldn't last. If I stay on the defensive like this, I'll eventually lose. His speed is just too great.

With this in mind, the speed of his Naless sword suddenly increased. At the sa ti, Lin Kuang's figure also accelerated, transforming into a faint shadow that chased after Pei Yuandong. Although there was a slight difference in their speeds, it wasn't significant.

Once their speeds nearly matched, a flurry of attacks rained down as the two swords clashed furiously. By now, even if Pei Yuandong wished to avoid it, he couldn't. He had to fight head-on. Though he was pained to damage his treasured sword, he had no other choice.

In an instant, as his Dong Han parried Naless, Pei Yuandong bent the tip of his own blade, sending it stabbing toward Lin Kuang's neck with blinding speed.

Seeing this, Lin Kuang's expression turned frigid. He flew backward at top speed, narrowly dodging the strike. However, Pei Yuandong seized the opportunity and refused to let him escape so easily. He charged again, the tip of the Dong Han Sword aid directly at Lin Kuang's throat.

Lin Kuang retreated quickly, but his speed was a fraction slower than Pei Yuandong's. The tip of the Dong Han Sword grew ever closer. Just as the blade was about to pierce his throat, Lin Kuang pushed off with one foot and twisted aside. The Dong Han Sword scraped past his neck.

The blade was less than a centiter away, and Lin Kuang could feel a phantom sting on his skin. Of course, he had no ti to ponder it. He maneuvered Naless, blocking Pei Yuandong's subsequent horizontal slash.

CLANG!

The two swords collided, and Pei Yuandong's Dong Han was stopped dead in its tracks. At that mont, Lin Kuang's leg lashed out, kicking straight toward Pei Yuandong's abdon.

As Pei Yuandong quickly sidestepped, he retracted Dong Han and slashed swiftly across Lin Kuang's calf. Seeing this, Lin Kuang's eyes sharpened, and he thrust his own Naless out with extre speed.

SCHLICK!

Lin Kuang's pant leg was sliced open, and a deep gash on his calf began to bleed profusely.

However, Pei Yuandong had fared much worse. Lin Kuang's Naless had pierced straight through his left shoulder—a far more serious wound.

Feeling the searing pain, Pei Yuandong abruptly pulled back and retreated rapidly. Seizing the opening, Lin Kuang lunged forward, his Naless sword aiming directly for Pei Yuandong's heart.

Pei Yuandong's face was pale. His stamina was severely depleted, and the grievous wound to his left arm greatly hindered his movents. Now, facing Lin Kuang's murderous advance, he threw caution to the wind. He brandished Dong Han and surged forward with all his might.

The next mont, the two n shot past each other.
