Chapter 35: Chapter 35: Flaming Red Lips
Inside the car, Lin Guo’er drove quietly, her beautiful eyes fixed on the road ahead. Her thoughts, however, were elsewhere, her mind replaying Lin Kuang’s arrogant and domineering display from monts ago. That scene was now deeply imprinted in her mind, impossible to shake.
Just then, Lin Kuang, from the passenger seat, suddenly yanked the steering wheel, causing the car to swerve violently. Startled, Lin Guo’er instinctively slamd on the brakes, and the engine stalled. The car shuddered, throwing them together. With Lin Kuang holding the wheel and Lin Guo’er stomping on the brakes, the powerful inertia flung them into one another. Lin Guo’er’s ample chest collided directly with Lin Kuang’s arm, and she fell right into his embrace. Lin Kuang, however, didn’t move an inch. Their position was quite awkward and looked rather intimate.
Feeling her softness and breathing in her faint, sweet scent, Lin Kuang’s heart couldn’t help but flutter. Stunned, Lin Guo’er leaned into his arms, not yet having co to her senses.
"Ahem, Guo’er, are you alright?" Lin Kuang asked awkwardly. He shifted his arm slightly, brushing it against her chest. The incredible softness was intoxicating.
"Ah? Oh! I’m... I’m fine," Lin Guo’er stamred, her charming face flushing red as she quickly sat up straight.
Seeing her reaction, Lin Kuang breathed a sigh of relief, though he felt a bit reluctant as they separated.
After a mont, Lin Guo’er finally cald down. "What just happened?" she asked. "Why did you suddenly grab the steering wheel?"
Hearing this, Lin Kuang gave a wry smile. "Guo’er, you seed to be lost in thought just now. A car pulled out from the corner ahead, and you didn’t react. I was afraid it would be too late to warn you, so I just grabbed the wheel to swerve out of the way," he explained.
Hearing his explanation, Lin Guo’er’s pretty face turned red. It was true; she had been thinking about none other than Lin Kuang.
"Oh, I see. Then I really have to thank you, Little Brother Kuang," Lin Guo’er said, turning her head. Her voice was a soft whisper with fragrant breath, and her scorching red lips were less than a centiter from his!
Lin Kuang could clearly feel the warm breath from her mouth, which carried a faint, fresh scent. Staring at those tempting red lips, so close he could almost taste them, he instinctively swallowed as his adrenaline surged.
"I-It’s no big deal, Guo’er," he stamred, swallowing hard. He’d almost given in to the urge to lunge forward and kiss her.
Seeing his shy deanor, Lin Guo’er giggled, her beautiful eyes shimring playfully.
"Little Brother Kuang, how should I thank you?" she asked with a smile, her face taking on an incredibly seductive expression.
"No, there’s no need. It was nothing," Lin Kuang said with a laugh, but he sat frozen, his gaze fixed on the captivating face so close to his.
"I said before that I’d give you my first kiss if you took off your pants," Lin Guo’er continued with a grin, her eyes exuding an indescribable charm. "But not only did you just help
get that debt paid, you also saved . So, how about I give you my first kiss now?"
At this, Lin Kuang instinctively leaned forward a bit.
Lin Guo’er smiled at him, though her heart was conflicted. A mont ago, his actions had stunned her, making her feel as if he was the man she had been looking for. That was why she was being so bold now. Still, a part of her was hesitant. This is really my first kiss! Is giving it away like this too forward?
Forget it! Who doesn’t do sothing crazy once or twice when they’re young? I’m already thirty, for crying out loud, and I’ve never let myself go wild. This is my chance! Besides, it’s just a first kiss, not my first ti! she thought.
