"Are they still in the office?" Lin Kuang asked, unable to contain himself.

Hearing this, Liang Kai gave a bitter smile and nodded. "Yes, they're still arguing."

"Take

there," Lin Kuang said.

Liang Kai nodded and led Lin Kuang toward the office. On the way, Lin Kuang learned that this special operations team consisted of six people. Their captain was Li Rongzu, a mber of the Yanjing Li Family, who also held real power as a Major General.

Learning that it was Li Rongzu who had arrived, Lin Kuang's expression changed slightly. The Lin and Li Families had always been at odds; one could even say they were mortal enemies. Now that soone from the Li Family had arrived, it was obvious they would target him.

Following Liang Kai to the office, Lin Kuang could clearly hear the intense argunt inside as he approached.

"Li Rongzu, stop playing dumb with ! You just found out I joined the Lin Family, didn't you? You just want to target , don't you? Co on, I'm standing right here! If you have the guts, bring it on!" Zhang Guodong roared angrily, as mighty as a lion.

Li Rongzu seed to be both infuriated and, as if he'd been found out, fell silent. But the next mont, his own rage flared, and he shouted, "Zhang Guodong, cut the crap! I'm here on official business! Stop throwing accusations around, or I'll haul you away right now!"

Outside the door, Lin Kuang heard every word of their squabble, and his expression turned grim. Although he hadn't interacted much with Zhang Guodong, he was sure the man was upright. After all, he was good friends with Yang Wucheng; he would never be so irritable unless pushed to his limit.

With that thought, Lin Kuang lifted his foot and kicked the door open with a loud BANG.

Seeing this, Liang Kai grimaced. These guys are sothing else, one more hot-tempered than the next. I really don't know if bringing Lin Kuang here was a good or bad thing. He then followed Lin Kuang inside.

The office fell so silent you could hear a pin drop. Every eye in the room turned to Lin Kuang, as no one had expected soone would dare kick down the door here. It took so serious guts.

Lin Kuang walked in with a calm expression, his gaze sweeping past Li Rongzu and his five n to land directly on Zhang Guodong. The next mont, Lin Kuang stood at attention and saluted. "Sir!"

At this, Zhang Guodong snapped out of his daze. Seeing that it was Lin Kuang, a smile touched his face. "Instructor Lin, you're here. At ease, and have a seat."

Lin Kuang nodded and calmly sat beside Zhang Guodong without saying a word.

The atmosphere in the office instantly grew tense. It was as if a lit fuse had been suddenly snuffed out, bringing everything to an abrupt halt.

After a long mont, Li Rongzu finally fixed his gaze on Lin Kuang. He naturally recognized Lin Kuang and was even sowhat wary of him. This was a man who feared nothing and no one. Most importantly, he was the forr Wolf King and a Colonel.

"Colonel, did you not see your commanding officer?!" Li Rongzu growled, his voice laced with anger. He was furious at Lin Kuang's dismissive attitude. After all, he was Lin Kuang's superior here, yet he had been so casually ignored. The feeling was incredibly frustrating.

Sitting in his chair, Lin Kuang glanced around nonchalantly. "Oh? Is there a commanding officer here? How co I didn't see one?" He completely ignored Li Rongzu, his eyes not even looking in his direction.

Upon seeing this, Li Rongzu's face flushed red, his eyes filled with rage.

"Colonel, watch your tone!" a soldier beside Li Rongzu stepped forward and snapped at Lin Kuang. He had been wanting to confront Zhang Guodong for a while but hadn't dared. Now, with Lin Kuang acting so arrogantly, the man had found a perfect outlet for his frustration. And if he makes a good showing, maybe Li Rongzu will even give him a special opportunity.

"Who do you think you are? Don't forget, you're a Colonel, just like . What right do you have to criticize ?" Lin Kuang said, glancing at the man with utter disdain.

Hearing this, Qian Zhou's face flushed red. He had never t anyone so arrogant. As a man from Yanjing and a mber of the special operations squad, he carried a certain pride and looked down on Lin Kuang. To be rebuked so bluntly made him furious.

"As a mber of the special operations squad, I have the right to correct your behavior!" Qian Zhou declared, stepping closer, his tone icy. "I see you as arrogant, conceited, and disrespectful of authority. You might even have so connection to that Okamoto Taiki! Therefore, you will now submit to my investigation!"

Hearing this, Lin Kuang couldn't help but chuckle. This kid really knows how to make excuses, even if they're laughably weak.

"Very well. What's your na?" Lin Kuang asked calmly, remaining seated.

"Colonel Qian Zhou!" Qian Zhou sneered.

"What? 'Needs a Beating'? Is that your na?" Lin Kuang asked, feigning surprise. What a ridiculous na!

At these words, Qian Zhou's face turned even uglier. He loathed it when people made a pun out of his na, and Lin Kuang's audacity struck a raw nerve. With that, Qian Zhou lunged, his hand reaching for Lin Kuang's collar to teach him a lesson.

But he was sorely mistaken. Lin Kuang was no ordinary person, and this 'Needs a Beating' was about to have a very bad day.

"Alright, 'Needs a Beating' it is. Since you're asking for one, I'll be happy to oblige!" As he spoke, Lin Kuang kicked out fiercely, aiming for Qian Zhou's lower abdon.

Qian Zhou was a skilled fighter himself; otherwise, he wouldn't be in the special operations squad. Seeing the kick coming, his expression tightened, and he dodged swiftly. But in that sa instant, Lin Kuang's leg swept horizontally, viciously striking Qian Zhou's calf.

Feeling the rush of air, Qian Zhou instantly understood that Lin Kuang was incredibly strong. The speed, timing, and angle of his attacks were those of a battle-hardened expert. He couldn't afford to be careless; it would be humiliating to suffer such an unexpected defeat here. With that in mind, Qian Zhou leaped into the air and, while mid-flight, executed a sweeping kick of his own aid directly at Lin Kuang's head.

Lin Kuang ducked his head, and Qian Zhou's kick whistled through empty air. At the sa ti, Lin Kuang gripped the armrests of his chair for leverage and slamd his right foot viciously into Qian Zhou's right knee.

With a dull THUD, Qian Zhou was sent flying back more than a ter, landing hard on one knee directly in front of Lin Kuang. His face instantly turned ashen. Pushing off with his left foot, he tried to stand.

But at that mont, the seated Lin Kuang shot forward in his chair, lifted his left foot, and slamd it down with imnse force onto Qian Zhou's left shoulder.
