"Be careful, Lin Kuang is very strong!"
Having witnessed three of his subordinates killed in an instant, Rex's face imdiately turned grave. These n were all battle-hardened veterans. For three of them to be taken out so easily was more than enough to prove Lin Kuang's formidable strength.
Hearing Rex's words, the remaining eight n beca more cautious. They aid their guns toward the spot where Lin Kuang had fired and began to advance at a much slower pace. Lin Kuang hid behind a wall, listening intently.
At that mont, Rex made a hand signal. The eight n nodded in understanding, pulled out tear gas grenades, and threw them into the villa.
CLANG! CLANG! CLANG!
The tear gas grenades landed inside, and the next mont, the room filled with smoke. At the sa ti, Rex and his n donned their masks and burst in.
anwhile, Lin Kuang couldn't help but sneer. True Qi surged, instantly forming a barrier around his head that kept the tear gas at bay. In other words, the gas had no effect on him at all.
Just as Rex and his n charged into the hall, Lin Kuang opened fire.
RAT-TAT-TAT!
Another burst of gunfire echoed, instantly felling three more n. Rex's expression beca incredibly grim.
"Be careful!" Rex said gravely, waving his hand.
The next mont, four grenades flew directly toward Lin Kuang's hiding spot. Seeing them, Lin Kuang pushed off with his feet, launching himself more than twenty ters away and hitting the ground flat. Just then, the room he had just vacated exploded with a roar. A dazzling fireball soared into the sky, shaking the entire villa violently.
Seeing this, the murderous intent in Lin Kuang's eyes intensified. He sprang up from the ground, his AK47 firing once more.
RAT-TAT-TAT!
Bullets flew out again, taking down two more n. At the sa ti, Rex and the others returned fire, but their bullets missed Lin Kuang completely.
By now, Rex's expression had turned ugly. In just a short ti, eight of the eleven n he had brought had been killed. Including himself, only four remained.
"Fire!" Rex roared, standing up and unleashing a fierce spray from his AK47. The three remaining rcenaries also fired frantically, their bullets flying wildly.
Lin Kuang took cover behind a wall, completely suppressed by the gunfire with no chance to peek out. He wasn't in a hurry, though. He was waiting for them to run out of bullets. That was when he would make his move.
A minute later, the shooting stopped, and Lin Kuang imdiately rushed out. Just then, two grenades ca flying at him. Lin Kuang's expression changed abruptly. Without a second thought, he dashed up to the second floor, his AK47 spitting fire.
BOOM! BOOM!
The bullets struck the grenades, detonating them instantly. The dazzling flash lit up the entire room.
"He's on the second floor! Fire!" Rex bellowed, having caught sight of Lin Kuang's sprinting figure in the flare.
Instantly, four guns opened fire again, spraying bullets wildly toward Lin Kuang. He carefully hid behind a wall on the second floor where the bullets couldn't reach him. Rex waved his hand again, and two more grenades flew over, landing right in front of Lin Kuang.
Seeing them, Lin Kuang sprang up. He kicked one grenade away, snatched the other out of the air, and hurled it back. The two grenades exploded in mid-air. Seizing the mont Lin Kuang was occupied, Rex and his n opened fire once again, pinning him behind the wall.
Rex tilted his head toward the two n beside him. With their guns ready, they began to advance toward the second floor step by step. anwhile, Rex and the other rcenary kept their guns trained on Lin Kuang's hiding place, ready to kill him the mont he moved. As a deputy leader of the Poisonous Spider, Rex was confident he could do it.
Just then, a pitch-black gun barrel erged from Lin Kuang's cover. Lin Kuang himself wasn't visible, but the gun had already fired.
RAT-TAT-TAT!
Gunfire rang out. Without even looking, Lin Kuang had killed the two rcenaries heading for the second floor. This was his strength—the ability to pinpoint a target by sound alone. He could take out opponents instantly without even needing to see them.
The mont those two rcenaries died, Rex's eyes turned blood-red, filled with murderous intent.
"Move up!" Rex growled, grabbing a dead rcenary to use as a body shield and charging forward. The other rcenary did the sa, and both rushed up to the second floor.
Seeing this, Lin Kuang's expression tightened as his AK47 roared to life once more. Although Rex and the rcenary used corpses as shields, parts of their bodies—like their thighs—were still exposed. A frantic burst of bullets slamd into their legs, and both n were hit. They imdiately dropped to their knees.
"FUCK! Just die!" Rex scread in a frenzy, his AK47 firing wildly. The last remaining rcenary did the sa.
But Lin Kuang had already leaped high into the air, dodging the incoming bullets. In mid-air, he swapped his AK47 for a Desert Eagle.
BANG! BANG!
Two shots rang out, headshotting both Rex and the final rcenary.
However, the mont Rex saw Lin Kuang leap into the air, he knew it was over. In his last mont, he pressed a tiny remote control in his hand. Just as he pressed the red button, Lin Kuang's bullet found its mark.
The mont Lin Kuang's feet touched the ground, a piercing roar erupted from downstairs. The bodies of the dead rcenaries detonated, the resulting blast powerful enough to shatter the walls.
Hearing the explosion, Lin Kuang's expression changed drastically. Without a second thought, he rushed back into Liu Shilin's room and swept both her and the Witch into his arms. The next mont, he kicked off the floor, smashed through the window, and leaped out with them.
Just as the three of them cleared the building, another deafening roar resounded. The entire villa was engulfed in flas, completely destroyed by the blast.
THUD.
Lin Kuang landed hard on his back on the grass, with Liu Shilin and the Witch lying on top of him, shielded by his body.
