"You said it yourself, so don't you dare back out later," Lin Kuang said with a laugh, gazing at the beauty in his arms.
"Mm, no... I won't," Liu Shilin replied, her face blushing.
"Alright, I'm leaving now. Be careful these next few days," he said, planting a kiss on Liu Shilin's cheek. He then turned and left, driving straight for the East Sea Military Region.
Watching his departing figure, Liu Shilin's face flushed a deeper red, her beautiful eyes filled with worry. "I hope nothing happens to you," she murmured. "I'll be waiting for you at ho." After tidying up, she prepared to head to her company.
Lin Kuang arrived at the East Sea Military Region at precisely 7:50 AM and entered the Seal Special Team's training room. The nine mbers of the team were already geared up and ready, standing before Yang Wucheng. They were clearly waiting for him.
Upon seeing Lin Kuang, the nine team mbers' eyes lit up with excitent, and they all stood even straighter.
Yang Wucheng turned with a smile, his gaze landing on Lin Kuang. "Kid, right on ti. Your uniform is ready. Get changed."
Lin Kuang simply smiled and, without ceremony, shed his clothes and put on the camouflage uniform before walking over to Yang Wucheng.
Seeing this, Yang Wucheng couldn't help but grin. "Instructor Lin, care to say a few words?"
"Sure," Lin Kuang agreed with a nod, his gaze sweeping over the nine mbers of the Seal Special Team. When they t his cold gaze, the n imdiately stiffened, their bodies ramrod straight.
"I have only one demand: victory. Otherwise, when you get back, your training will be doubled, and then doubled again!" Lin Kuang stated calmly.
Hearing this, the nine n collectively swallowed. Damn... doubled and then doubled again? That's a pace designed to kill us!
However, when they saw the unwavering trust in Lin Kuang's eyes, an inexplicable, powerful confidence surged through them.
"Yes, Instructor! Victory is assured!" the nine n roared, their voices filled with fierce conviction.
"Good. I believe in you," Lin Kuang said before taking a small step back to stand beside Yang Wucheng.
Yang Wucheng was very satisfied with the Seal Special Team's morale. He could tell that after Lin Kuang's training, every single one of them had transford. Their presence was now undeniably powerful.
"Instructor Lin has finished, so I'll add a few words," Yang Wucheng began. "My demand is the sa as his: victory! If you win, I'll give you a half-month vacation to do whatever you want. But if you lose... rest assured, my punishnt will be no lighter than Instructor Lin's."
As he spoke, a slight smile touched Yang Wucheng's lips, sending a chill down the spines of the team mbers. That's right... we almost forgot our commander is known as the 'Demon Instructor'!
"Yes, General! We will be victorious!" the nine n roared again. They were fighting for the honor of the East Sea Military Region; they could not afford to lose.
"Good! Prepare to board!" Yang Wucheng ordered. He turned and strode away, with Lin Kuang right behind him.
Zhang Tianyou, Sun Lei, Li Liang, Hu Yang, and the others followed, making their way to the center of the parade ground where an idling helicopter awaited them.
Yang Wucheng boarded the helicopter first, followed by Lin Kuang, and then the nine mbers of the Seal Special Team. Once all eleven n were on board, the hatch sealed shut. The rotors roared to life, and the helicopter ascended, heading straight for the Nanjing Military Region.
"Comrades," Yang Wucheng said in a solemn tone inside the helicopter, "although this is a friendly competition, it is also a test of your strength. There are only two events: individual combat and team-based jungle warfare. You are familiar with both, so be prepared."
"Yes, General! We understand!" the nine team mbers shouted in unison.
Yang Wucheng nodded, then closed his eyes and fell silent. Lin Kuang did the sa. It's been a long ti since I've been on a helicopter, he thought, feeling a thrill of excitent. The emotions tied to my military career are special, sothing an ordinary person could never comprehend.
After nearly an hour, the helicopter began its descent, landing on the parade ground of the Nanjing Military Region. Once it stabilized, Lin Kuang opened the hatch. The eleven n disembarked, with Yang Wucheng in the lead and Lin Kuang right behind him.
Two soldiers were waiting outside the aircraft; the one in the lead was clearly a General.
"Salute!" Yang Wucheng ordered sharply.
Instantly, Lin Kuang and the nine mbers of the Seal Special Team snapped a crisp salute, their bodies ramrod straight. The two soldiers opposite them returned the salute.
"Haha, Old Yang, long ti no see! It looks like your n are in high spirits this ti," Zhang Guodong said with a laugh.
As the commander of the Nanjing Military Region, Zhang Guodong was on very good terms with Yang Wucheng privately. They were old comrades who had fought in the sa trenches, so their bond was unshakable. However, the East Sea Military Region's Seal Special Team usually lost more competitions than they won, so Zhang Guodong never missed an opportunity to tease his old friend about it.
"Hmph! Don't get smug with , you old devil!" Yang Wucheng shot back, annoyed by Zhang Guodong's punchable grin. "This ti, we're definitely going to crush you!" That old goat loved to tease him, and it always got under his skin.
"Haha, Old Yang, Old Yang, don't get so worked up at your age," Zhang Guodong said warmly, completely unbothered by the nickna. "It's just a friendly match, what's all the excitent for? Besides, we're still going to be the ones winning. You guys from East Sea can get ready to eat our dust."
"Cut the crap," Yang Wucheng said impatiently. "When do we start?"
"Look at you, what's the rush?" Zhang Guodong replied earnestly. "Rest for the night. We should have a good drink tonight. It's been too long, and I've really missed you." Their ranks and duties made it difficult for them to leave their respective military regions, so opportunities to et were genuinely rare.
Hearing this, Yang Wucheng snorted. "Drink with ? You're the one who'll end up under the table." Despite his bluster, he didn't refuse. He had missed Zhang Guodong, too. The bond between two n who had risen through the ranks together since their first day of enlistnt was sothing outsiders could never understand.
"Still putting on that tough act, are we?" Zhang Guodong chuckled, turning to his Chief of Staff. "Liang Kai, take the Seal Special Team to their quarters to rest. Arrange for them to go out for dinner tonight. I'm going to catch up with Old Yang."
"Yes, General!" Liang Kai acknowledged and was about to lead the team away.
"Wait a minute," Yang Wucheng spoke up again.
