Chapter 187: Chapter 187 Continuous Battles

At this mont, Zhang Liani and her bodyguard walked out of the Odin Hotel.

Seeing Lin Kuang arrive, Zhang Liani wasn’t surprised. Instead, she smiled at him. "Mr. Lin, you’re here."

"Yeah, get in the car. Let your bodyguard head back on his own," Lin Kuang said with a smile.

Zhang Liani nodded, gave her bodyguard an instruction, and then sat in the passenger seat.

"Where are we going?" Lin Kuang asked with a smile, glancing at her beside him.

"Let’s go to Leopard Hall’s headquarters. We should go check on things," Zhang Liani replied, also smiling.

Hearing this, Lin Kuang nodded and sped off, heading straight for the Leopard Hall headquarters.

anwhile, at Leopard Hall’s headquarters, all of their establishnts ca under attack. The sudden assault threw the entire organization into chaos, and amidst the disarray, they suffered heavy losses.

Inside the headquarters, Zhou Ertao was in command. When he heard the reports from his subordinates, his face turned incredibly grim. He knew all too well who was behind this. Zhang Liani had contacted him before, wanting to take down Zhou Datao, and Zhou Ertao had agreed. Since there had been no movent from her side, he hadn’t thought much of it, assuming she was still preparing.

However, he had never expected that Zhang Liani would launch a direct attack on Leopard Hall. This was sothing Zhou Ertao had never anticipated.

"That bitch! That damned woman wants to swallow our Leopard Hall whole! What a massive appetite!" Zhou Ertao cursed, his face contorting with rage as he sat in his office.

"Gather everyone and charge out! Also, get our reinforcents here imdiately!" Picking up the phone, Zhou Ertao called a trusted subordinate, then rushed out with his bodyguards.

Leopard Hall’s headquarters was suffering an unprecedented assault. More than half of the building had been overrun, with the attackers nearly reaching the top floor. Just then, the forces organized by Zhou Ertao began a desperate counterattack. The mbers of the Eagle Sect and Leopard Hall were locked in a fierce firefight inside.

The East Sea City police station was receiving one ergency call after another. Police Chief Hu Run, however, was prepared. Zhang Liani had notified him before she made her move, so the flood of calls was within his expectations.

"Deploy all police forces to the reported incident locations," Hu Run said calmly to a few of his trusted n. "There’s no rush to get to Huaguang Tower."

Huaguang Tower was Leopard Hall’s headquarters.

Kong Cheng was among the trusted subordinates Hu Run had summoned. Hearing the chief’s orders, he could only smile bitterly. Having been on the force for so many years, he understood perfectly. This was clearly a gang war, and Hu Run was deliberately avoiding the main conflict while dealing with the minor skirmishes. How could he not see it? But Kong Cheng said nothing; so things were better left unsaid.

After Hu Run finished speaking, Kong Cheng and the others departed, quickly leading their teams toward the various fight scenes. Not a single police car, however, headed toward Huaguang Tower.

At the sa ti, Chu Zhongtian received the news. Learning that Leopard Hall was under attack and that Zhou Datao had been shot dead, his expression turned hideous. He had finally managed to establish a connection with Zhou Datao, hoping for a steady stream of wealth to roll in, but now he was dead. The fact that the Eagle Sect was responsible made the furious Chu Zhongtian suspicious. His gut told him this was connected to Lin Kuang, yet it was the Eagle Sect that had acted.

"Young Master Chu, what should we do now?" Han Qiaoqiao asked softly.

Chu Zhongtian took a long, deep breath and said indifferently, "For now, we’ll just wait and see. We’ll discuss everything tomorrow."

Hearing his words, Han Qiaoqiao fell silent, but she felt deeply uneasy. Lin Kuang should be an easy target to eliminate, so why did it have to be so complicated? Of course, Chu Zhongtian was furious at the mont, so she didn’t dare ask. Her questions would have to wait until tomorrow.

anwhile, Lin Kuang and Zhang Liani had arrived at Huaguang Tower, the headquarters of Leopard Hall. A large crowd had already gathered at a distance. After all, a scene like this was a rare sight. It was practically sothing out of a shootout movie. Who wouldn’t be thrilled? Who wouldn’t want to watch? Of course, they kept a safe distance, not daring to get too close. Those were real bullets, and a single hit ant death.

Listening to the continuous gunfire from within Huaguang Tower, it seed the building wouldn’t be taken anyti soon.

"Liani, you stay in the car. I’ll go in and take a look first," Lin Kuang said calmly, glancing at Zhang Liani.

"No, I’m going with you. I can handle it!" she insisted, looking at him resolutely.

Seeing this, Lin Kuang nodded. "Alright, let’s go in together!"

With that, they got out of the car and walked into Huaguang Tower. The two of them went straight to the twelfth floor before stopping, as this was as far as the Eagle Sect had managed to advance.

"Big Sister, you’re here," a sturdy man said respectfully as he approached. He was clearly one of Zhang Liani’s most capable lieutenants.

Zhang Liani nodded. "Yes. How’s the situation?"

"Not good," Guo Delun said, his voice filled with pain. "Zhou Ertao and his n have fortified their position too well. They’re completely suppressing us, and we can’t push forward. We’ve already suffered many casualties." The n who had died were his brothers and friends; how could he not be heartbroken over so many losses at once?

Hearing his words, Zhang Liani frowned. She had thought they could eliminate most of Leopard Hall’s forces by catching them off guard, but it seed she had underestimated them.

"They’re all in the corridor on the floor above, right?" Lin Kuang asked with a smile.

Guo Delun was startled for a mont before nodding.

"Good. Give

your submachine gun," Lin Kuang said.

"What are you going to do?" Guo Delun couldn’t help but ask.

"Charge up there, of course," Lin Kuang replied with a smile.

"By yourself?" Guo Delun asked, his voice filled with disbelief.

Lin Kuang nodded. "I’ll lay down suppressing fire first, then you all charge up."

Guo Delun stared at Lin Kuang, incredulous. If it weren’t for Lin Kuang’s calm expression, he would have thought the man was a lunatic for saying sothing so outrageous.

Seeing the disbelief on Guo Delun’s face, Lin Kuang smiled faintly. "Don’t worry. I’m not a fool, and I’m not trying to get myself killed. Co on, trust ."

Guo Delun glanced at Zhang Liani. Seeing her nod, he skeptically handed his submachine gun to Lin Kuang.

"Be careful," Guo Delun warned earnestly. "There are at least dozens of them in that corridor."
