Chapter 17: Chapter 17 Throwing Out the Door

"I... I... I’m wiped!" Han Fei stamred. He desperately wanted to curse Lin Kuang out but felt it was inappropriate. So, after struggling for a mont, he finally choked out the words. As soon as they were out, Han Fei’s face flushed crimson with anger. Even he felt like an idiot.

Lin Kuang blinked, not having expected Han Fei to say sothing so bizarre. Resigned, he retorted, "Then get wiped again!"

"Fuck you! Kid, stop playing dumb with ! Tell , what the hell happened last night?!" Han Fei hadn’t wanted to resort to cursing, but he couldn’t hold it in any longer. The words just burst out. After swearing, even though he’d said it under his breath, he felt much better.

Hearing Han Fei’s words, Lin Kuang’s gaze turned ice-cold. He could probably tolerate soone hitting him, but he absolutely could not stand being cursed at, especially when it involved his mother.

"If you know how to speak like a human being, then talk. If not, get out!" Lin Kuang said in a frigid tone. Out of respect for Liu Shilin, he didn’t get physical and rely issued a warning.

Han Fei froze. In all of East Sea, he was the one who cursed others. Very few dared to curse him. And no matter how he looked at it, Lin Kuang didn’t seem like one of those few. "You dare curse ? You fucking dare curse ? Kid, are you trying to get yourself killed?" Han Fei shot to his feet, his eyes blazing with fury.

"I don’t know if I’m going to die, but I do know that you’re about to be thrown out!" With that, Lin Kuang grabbed Han Fei by the collar and effortlessly hoisted all one hundred-plus pounds of him into the air before striding toward the door.

"You... you... put

down! Put

down!" Han Fei’s face turned beet red as he struggled to breathe. He had never been treated like this in East Sea before.

Ignoring him completely, Lin Kuang walked right out the door and flung Han Fei onto the lawn. Whether Lin Kuang did it on purpose was unclear, but the result was comical: Han Fei landed face-down on the grass, his butt sticking straight up in the air in a ridiculous pose.

"Soone get this guy out of here," Lin Kuang said calmly to the two bodyguards at the door. Then, he turned and went back inside, completely ignoring Han Fei.

Han Fei was still dazed from the fall. His body didn’t hurt much, but his pride was stinging. What a loss of face!

When had he, the great Young Master Han, ever suffered such humiliation in East Sea? This was a first! If he’d been roughed up by so powerful figure, he could have stomached it. But to be bullied by a naless nobody? If word of this got out, how could he ever show his face in East Sea again?

At that thought, Han Fei scrambled to his feet. Ignoring the dirt on his clothes, he charged back toward the room like a madman.

The two bodyguards intercepted him. No matter how much he cursed and insulted them, they wouldn’t let go, eventually tossing him out of the main gate. The bodyguards weren’t stupid. Liu Shilin hadn’t intervened in the incident, which was a clear sign of her tacit approval. Besides, Han Fei had been rude to them, so they didn’t mind giving the guy a little rough treatnt on the sly.

Staring at the two bodyguards standing watch like a pair of impassive Door Gods, Han Fei stamped his feet in fury, cursing up a storm, but he didn’t dare try to force his way back in. "Fine! Fine! You all just rember this! This isn’t over! Just you wait!" Han Fei spat out his threats before getting into his Lamborghini and speeding away.

Inside the room, Lin Kuang sat smiling on the sofa, watching TV as if nothing had happened. Just then, Liu Shiyu, who had been hiding, re-erged. The little witch wore a clear look of dissatisfaction on her face. She had witnessed the whole thing, expecting a fierce clash between titans. But Han Fei had turned out to be a total coward, which greatly displeased her.

"Hmph. Pervert. Violent maniac," the little witch grumbled in dissatisfaction as she sat down on the sofa.

"Want to get your butt spanked again?" Lin Kuang asked with a grin, glancing over at her.

At his words, two crimson spots blood on Liu Shiyu’s doll-like face. She glared daggers at Lin Kuang but didn’t dare say another word.

Her intuition told her this pervert was a man of his word. If she really angered him, she would undoubtedly get her butt spanked. This thought made Liu Shiyu even more furious. A fire raged inside her with no outlet, and the frustration was nearly enough to give her an internal injury. Seeing the little witch fall silent, Lin Kuang just smiled and turned his attention back to the TV, seemingly engrossed in the program.

Just then, Liu Shilin ca down from the stairs. "Shiyu, you’re getting more and more mischievous by the day."

Liu Shilin was, of course, aware of everything that had just happened downstairs. She had simply chosen not to co down. In fact, she had been too embarrassed to show her face after hearing Liu Shiyu’s comnts, which had made her blush. Besides, she had also wanted to see Lin Kuang teach Han Fei a lesson. That man was always harassing her, leaving her utterly exasperated. Now that the matter was resolved, she finally made her appearance.

"Boo hoo hoo... Sis, this jerk bullied ! He bullied ! Sis, he’s driving

crazy!" Seeing Liu Shilin co downstairs, Liu Shiyu imdiately ran over to her, a look of pure grievance on her face.

Liu Shilin gently rapped her on the head. "Oh, you. Are you sure you know who was really bullying who?" Turning her gaze to Lin Kuang, she said, "Lin Kuang, thank you for what you did just now."

Lin Kuang just smiled and shook his head. "Don’t ntion it. It was my duty." He knew perfectly well why Liu Shilin was thanking him. He had gotten rid of Han Fei, sothing she couldn’t easily do herself, so he had handled it for her.

Liu Shilin nodded. "There will be many more incidents like this in the future. If you can, please continue to handle them for . But... but I have one request. Please try not to be so violent." As she spoke, a hint of embarrassnt flickered across her pretty face.

She wasn’t worried for herself, but for the company. After all, there were certain people one couldn’t afford to offend. As the company’s Chairman, she couldn’t always take such a hard line, as it would be detrintal to the company’s growth.

Lin Kuang nodded in understanding. "Alright, I’ll be more careful next ti. I’ll do my best not to resort to force if I can help it."

As he said this, he felt a sense of helplessness. It wasn’t about being unable to act, but about his old friend from prison. That man was clearly no simple character—definitely a powerful figure—yet he had left his daughter with so few assets, putting her in such a difficult position. Lin Kuang truly couldn’t fathom what the old man had been thinking. But that wasn’t his problem to solve. He was just here to help. For how long, even he didn’t know.

"Okay. I’ll be counting on you, then," Liu Shilin said with a smile, a wave of relief washing over her.
