to the bathroom and have a look," Liu Shilin said, standing up with forced calm.
"Sis, why are we going to the bathroom?" Liu Shiyu asked, then froze. She had just rembered that Lin Kuang had dragged the young man into the bathroom with a dagger.
That dirty rascal isn’t planning to kill him to silence him, is he? the little witch thought, her mind instantly conjuring a bloody scene. As the image ford, she trembled, and her doll-like face turned a few shades paler.
"O-Okay, let’s go take a look," Liu Shiyu said, plucking up her courage and clinging to Liu Shilin’s arm.
Their minds racing with imagined horrors, the two sisters slowly approached the bathroom door. Just as they reached it, Lin Kuang happened to push the door open and walk out.
"AHH! Murder! He’s committed murder!" Liu Shiyu scread in terror, hiding behind Liu Shilin with her head pressed against her sister’s back.
Her scream startled both Liu Shilin and Lin Kuang. Liu Shilin, who was already on edge, felt her heart nearly leap out of her chest. However, she cald down a little when she saw Lin Kuang erge looking perfectly calm and not at all like soone who had just killed a man.
"Lin... Lin Kuang, you... you didn’t kill anyone, did you?" Liu Shiyu asked, mustering her courage.
"Huh? No, why would I kill anyone?" Lin Kuang replied with a puzzled look.
"Then why did you drag him in there?" Liu Shilin asked again, her eyes now filled with more curiosity than fear.
"Oh, you an that guy? I was just interrogating him. It wasn’t a pretty sight, and I was afraid it would scare you," Lin Kuang explained with a smile.
Hearing his explanation, Liu Shilin finally breathed a sigh of relief. At that mont, Liu Shiyu also peeked out from behind her sister. Realizing she had overreacted, she sheepishly stuck out her tongue.
"Miss, what happened?" two bodyguards in suits asked hurriedly as they rushed in.
However, when they saw the state of the living room, they couldn’t help but freeze. Nothing seed to have happened. But if that was the case, why had she scread?
"Humph! Do you two still want your jobs? The man who delivered the food tried to kill my sister! Luckily, this guy stopped him. If it weren’t for him, my sister and I would be corpses by now!" Liu Shiyu yelled indignantly at the two bodyguards.
At her words, the bodyguards’ expressions changed, and guilt washed over their faces. No matter how you looked at it, it was a dereliction of their duty; they had noticed the threat far too late. Thinking of this, they couldn’t help but give Lin Kuang a grateful look.
"Alright, take care of the man in the bathroom and be more careful next ti," Lin Kuang said lightly, stopping Liu Shiyu before she could lose her temper again.
Hearing this, the two bodyguards shot Lin Kuang another grateful glance before quickly entering the bathroom to carry out the unconscious young man.
"Shilin, have a seat. It’s all right now," Lin Kuang said with a smile.
Liu Shilin nodded and sat back down on the sofa with Liu Shiyu. Lin Kuang sat smiling across from them.
"Lin Kuang, who exactly was that man?" Liu Shilin asked, her expression grim now that she had settled down.
"He was sent by that woman from yesterday. He says she’s the woman of Liu Tiecheng, the second-in-command of the East Sea’s Eagle Sect. So it’s true, a woman’s revenge doesn’t wait overnight," Lin Kuang said with a laugh, recounting what he had learned.
Hearing this, Liu Shiyu was furious, while Liu Shilin’s expression paled slightly.
"Soone from the Eagle Sect? Those guys are insane," Liu Shilin said, her expression turning grim. As a native of East Sea, she knew a little about the Eagle Sect, though her knowledge wasn’t comprehensive.

more," Lin Kuang asked, his interest piqued.
"Well, this is just what I’ve heard, so I don’t know how accurate it is. They say the leader of the Eagle Sect started as a small-ti thug. Liu Shilin shared the rumors she had heard, admitting she wasn’t sure if they were true.
Hearing her words, Lin Kuang nodded. "This Eagle Sect leader is quite a character. It’s clear he’s unscrupulous and fiercely protective of his own."
He then smiled reassuringly. "Don’t worry. I’m here, so nothing will happen. Co on, let’s eat before the food gets cold."
Saying this, Lin Kuang opened the breakfast containers, revealing steaming hot soup dumplings, pickled vegetables, and a stead egg custard, though the custard was already crumbled beyond recognition.
Liu Shilin just shook her head. "I’m not hungry. You eat." How could she possibly have an appetite right now? She wasn’t like Lin Kuang; she lacked his unshakeable composure.
"Sis, why aren’t you eating? Skipping breakfast is bad for you. Co on, have a little," Liu Shiyu said with a smile, waving a soup dumpling in front of Liu Shilin’s face.
Seeing this, Liu Shilin gave a helpless smile. "It’s fine, you guys go ahead. I’ll have so bread and milk. This is too greasy for ."
With that, Liu Shilin stood up and left.
Watching her sister’s retreating back, Liu Shiyu pouted and popped the soup dumpling into her own mouth. As she ate, the little witch muttered, "This is delicious. All this at... it’s good for bust enhancent."
Hearing this, Lin Kuang, who was in the middle of eating the egg custard, nearly spit it out.
It would be one thing for other girls to talk about enhancing their bust, but this girl’s chest is already the size of a soccer ball. If she enhances it any further, won’t it beco a basketball?

"Enhance my foot! You perv!" Liu Shiyu cried out indignantly, hurling the soup dumpling in her hand at him.
Lin Kuang tilted his head, neatly catching the dumpling in his mouth. "Not bad, not bad. It would be even better if you fed
another one."
