Chapter 126: Chapter 126: Both Captured

"Sir, what you’re doing is breaking and entering! I can call the police!" Chen Ruilian snapped, hoping to scare Lin Kuang away.

Lin Kuang turned around, his eyes cold and indifferent. "Chen Ruilian, tell , who paid you to sprinkle carcinogenic material on the fabric? How much was the bribe?"

His voice was frigid as a powerful aura erupted from him, bearing down on Chen Ruilian.

Chen Ruilian’s face fell. She collapsed onto the floor, her eyes wide with panic. Lin Kuang watched her with an icy expression, taking in her every reaction.

So my guess was right. Chen Ruilian is the one who deliberately contaminated the fabric. Otherwise, why would she look so panicked? Why so terrified? This isn’t how an innocent person would react.

"You... you... what are you talking about? Don’t you dare fra !" It took Chen Ruilian a mont to find her voice. She scrambled to her feet, her voice a shrill shriek, but the panic and fear in her eyes only intensified.

"I’m not here to waste words. Tell

who it was, and I’ll spare you. Otherwise, you’ll face the consequences," Lin Kuang said, pulling a Desert Eagle from his back and pressing the cold, dark muzzle to her forehead.

Feeling the steel on her skin, Chen Ruilian trembled violently. A foul stench filled the room as she lost control of her bladder and bowels. Faced with this, she no longer dared to play dumb and confessed everything.

"Please... please don’t kill ! I took the million, but Cui Zhongsha forced

to do it! He said they’d kill

if I didn’t! I’m begging you, don’t kill !" Chen Ruilian wailed, genuinely terrified.

"What does this Cui Zhongsha do? Where does he live?" Lin Kuang asked.

"I... I don’t know what he does. Our contact is one-way. He calls

when he needs ," she replied.

"Fine. Call him. Tell him to et you at your usual spot," Lin Kuang said coolly.

"W-we usually et here... at my house," she stamred.

"Then tell him to co here. Now. And while you’re at it, get yourself cleaned up," Lin Kuang ordered, holstering the Desert Eagle.

"Okay... I... I’ll call him now." With trembling hands, Chen Ruilian dialed Cui Zhongsha’s number. After arranging the eting, she went to take a shower.

About fifteen minutes later, Chen Ruilian erged, clean and in a fresh set of clothes. She was, admittedly, a beautiful woman.

Lin Kuang, however, was in no mood to pay her any attention. He sat on the sofa, waiting silently, while Chen Ruilian stood to the side, not daring to breathe too loudly.

After another fifteen minutes, a knock ca at the door. The sound made Chen Ruilian jump.

Lin Kuang stood up and jerked his chin at her. She nodded quickly, took a mont to compose herself, and opened the door.

"Well, hello there, little beauty. Dressed so scantily? Trying to seduce ?" a man’s voice rang out. The next mont, a man in his thirties strode in, grabbing Chen Ruilian and kissing her sloppily.

This must be Cui Zhongsha. Lin Kuang frowned, grabbed the man by the collar, and threw him to the floor.

"OUCH!" Cui Zhongsha howled in pain. The throw had hurt him badly.

Before he could even process what had happened, Lin Kuang stepped forward and kicked him hard in the groin. The man howled again as cold sweat beaded on his forehead.

"Who the hell are you?" Cui Zhongsha snarled, finally spotting Lin Kuang.

"You don’t need to know who I am. First, tell

who *you* are. Why did you have Chen Ruilian bring carcinogenic material into the Yashi production workshop?" Lin Kuang asked calmly, kicking Cui Zhongsha in the groin again.

The man grimaced, letting out another howl of pain. "Bitch! You goddamn bitch, you betrayed !" he shrieked at Chen Ruilian, his glare so intense it looked as though he wanted to devour her whole.

Seeing his expression, Chen Ruilian trembled and shrank back, too afraid to speak.

"I asked you a question. Are you deaf?" Lin Kuang’s voice dropped, and he stomped hard on Cui Zhongsha’s groin. His eyes were utterly devoid of emotion.

Cui Zhongsha started to howl again, but when he saw Lin Kuang’s icy, inhuman gaze, he swallowed the sound. "Who... who in the hell are you?!" he demanded, his face a mask of pain as his hand subtly shifted behind his back.

"Never mind who I am. I’ll ask you one last ti: who are you?!" Lin Kuang’s tone grew colder, and the temperature in the room seed to drop with it.

Cui Zhongsha gulped, terror flashing in his eyes. But in that instant, his hand whipped out from behind him, a black pistol aid squarely at Lin Kuang.

"I’m the one who’s going to kill you!" Cui Zhongsha snarled, his eyes murderous as he prepared to fire.

But he had no idea Lin Kuang had seen his every move.

The mont the gun appeared, Lin Kuang moved like a ghost, his foot stamping down on Cui Zhongsha’s arm.

CRACK!

With a sickening snap, the man’s wrist shattered. The gun clattered to the floor.

"AAAHHH!" An agonizing scream, as piercing as a pig being slaughtered, erupted from Cui Zhongsha’s mouth.

"Shut up," Lin Kuang said coldly. "Answer my question."

This ti, Cui Zhongsha was truly broken. Lin Kuang had extinguished his last ounce of courage, leaving him with no will to resist.

"I... I’ll talk! I’m from the Quality Supervision Bureau," he stamred, his eyes filled with fear. "Everything I did was on orders from above."

"Oh? ’Above’?" Lin Kuang asked mildly.

"Y-Yes, the director! I heard it was all Chu Zhongtian’s doing—Young Master Chu. But that’s just a rumor; I’m not certain."

"Smart of you to cooperate. Where does your director live?" Lin Kuang asked.

Cui Zhongsha held nothing back, quickly telling Lin Kuang the director’s address.

Lin Kuang nodded, then knocked Cui Zhongsha unconscious. He tied him up and left him on the floor.

"You will stay here and watch him. You are not to leave this room," Lin Kuang said, fixing Chen Ruilian with one last icy glare. "If you do, you know what your fate will be."

Then he turned and left.
