After Chen Lihua finished taunting him, she noticed that the man was staring at her and his face was totally black.
Chen Lihua moved away from him, and stared at him as well.
'Why is he so angry?'.
Chen Lihua felt bad seeing Liu Longwei look so angry, so she tried to make peace, but Liu Longwei beat her to that.
Looking at Chen Lihua, Liu Longwei's hardened face relaxed a little. He knew he was at fault for first looking for trouble, so he decided to apologize without knowing that Chen Lihua had that in mind.
So as Chen Lihua opened her mouth, she heard Liu Longwei already apologizing.
Liu Longwei looked down and said, "Am sorry, I didn't an to annoy you".
Chen Lihua was a bit taken by surprise, she didn't expect Liu Longwei to apologize and that, beating her to it. So, she didn't say anything and only looked at him.
After apologizing, Liu Longwei didn't hear her say anything, so he looked up and their gaze t.
Seeing her stare at him like that, he thought that she was lost in thought and didn't hear him, so he apologized again. "Am sorry".
This ti around, Chen Lihua made a move. "No problem, am sorry as well".
Chen Lihua felt obligated to explain so she said, "I was rude too, it's just that I hate hearing soone tell that am young, it's like my Achilles heel. I entered school at an early age, and most people in my class were older than , so once they asked of my age, I told them the truth. And then, they found out that I was so much younger, so whenever my classmates discussed sothing more adult like, they would leave out of it and when I want to join them, they would say that am a small child and little to join their discussions so I was felt left out. So, since then, hearing soone call little or say that am young will evoke anger, and it has not always been good, especially to the victims".
After hearing her explanation, Liu Longwei now understood why she got so angry when he said that. He felt happy that she shared a little part of her life with him.
"Am really sorry then".
Chen Lihua smiled and waved her hands saying, "No problem at all".
Liu Longwei confird from her again, "So, we are OK now, right?".
Chen Lihua nodded, "Yeah, of course, we are good now".
Seeing him still staring at her, Chen Lihua stepped forward and hugged him again to assure him that she didn't take those things he said to heart anymore.
Liu Longwei relaxed as he felt her in his embrace, so he hugged her back. This ti around, he patted her back gently.
While behaving gently, Liu Longwei and Chen Lihua didn't have ti to think about other things, whether their present closeness was appropriate or not.
Actually, it's appropriate and completely legal. But in their right mind, they would have felt akward as Chen Lihua's chest was completely pressed on his.
Chen Lihua didn't think too much about it as she spent years abroad, so she was used to hugging both male and female friends. While Liu Longwei on the other hand felt her chest, but didn't think too much about it as well, as he was imrsed in Chen Lihua's care, assurance and gentleness.
After the hug, Chen Lihua thought about sothing he said earlier and asked, "Am really curious, how did you know that am still a virgin?"
Liu Longwei let her go after the hug. Hearing her question, Liu Longwei answered truthfully and imdiately, "Lady Chen".
He let those two simple words out of his mouth so easily, without the slightest bit of hesitation.
Chen Lihua exclaid through gritted teeth and closing her eyes "I knew it!".
Then she opened her eyes and asked, "When did she tell you that?"
Liu Longwei answered again, "Two days ago, when we discussed our marriage".
