"I will explain everything later but first, I need to see my wife." Liu Longwei said as he turned to walk away quickly.

"Longwei take easy steps. You don't want to wake her, she has not been having things easy." Lady Chen reminded him.

Although he had gone a little far because of the speed, he still heard her, so she slowed down his place and tried to lighten his steps.

When he got to the door of the said room, he gently pushed the door open and went inside.

The nurse that was looking after Chen Lihua stood up to greet him, but he waved his hand, signaling her to forget the greeting.

Liu Longwei saw his wife sleeping peacefully and walked towards her bed to sit beside her. He saw how tired she looked.

To him, she looked nothing like how he left her before his trip. I an, he only left her for a few weeks, and she turned out like that.

Liu Longwei took her hand and kissed the back of her palms as he whispered. "Sweetheart, you look like you've been through a lot while I was gone. How are you? Was the baby naughty and disobedient while I was gone?."

As he said this, he placed a hand on her abdon. "Baby, did you give your mother a hard ti while I was gone?."

His question seed to have woken the baby in the womb. The baby opened his eyes and blinked and stretched his hands out before taking them back.

"Sweetheart, I'll be back, give a few minutes." Liu longwei said as he kissed her baby bump and her forehead before saying to the nurse, "Take care of her." Then he walked out of the room.

Back in the living room, Liu Longwei asked about Chen Lihua's health condition, and the doctor explained everything he needed to know about it.

"The only solution is to induce the labor and have her give birth before the actual date. The earlier this is done, the better for her and the baby." The doctor said to him before going back to the delivery room to check on Chen Lihua.

Every now and then, she has been checking her blood pressure, and the baby's heartbeat to ensure everything was going on well.

After the nurse left, Old Madam Liu brought up the initial question they all wanted to know about.

Liu Longwei didn't waste ti because there was nothing to hide, and he needed to freshen up and go to see his wife.

Liu Longwei explained the whole situation to them and watched their facial expressions change thought the whole conversation.

But the whole thing summarizes that, When Liu Longwei was ready to take a trip back to City B, in his private her, the engineers found out that the engine had a slight malfunctioning, and so wasn't in a conducive state to be on air.

Liu Longwei asked them how long it would take them to have it fixed, and he was given between two to three hours.

Liu Longwei glanced at his wristwatch as he said to them, "I will wait".

Soone that was waiting wherever he was, was called on the phone the next several minutes to give him shocking news.

'His private jet has been hijacked."

This news ca as a surprise to Liu Longwei because he wasn't expecting sothing like that to happen.

At first, he didn't want them to track the jet and force the people that hijacked it down. Since the plane had an engine malfunction, he knew the plane would crash if the distance was long for it.

So he wanted to teach them a lesson not to steal from him so easily, but then, he thought about the little life he was expecting into this world, that alone was enough to change his mind, so he ordered for the plane to be stopped.

But who knew the thieves wouldn't listen to the command after two helicopters ca after them. They increased their speed and went their way.

The helicopters sent on their pursuit couldn't make a five hours journey, so they gave up halfway.

Since Liu Longwei had already made up his mind to go back ho that day, he decided to take his Russian friend's private jet, back ho.

His line couldn't go through because of the settings in the jet. So he and his personal, assistant and his bodyguards, took the ride back ho.

And on getting to City B, he saw the news of the crash and decided to settle the matter before finally getting to his ho.

"We didn't know that this was what happened. When Lihua saw the news of the crash, she recognized your jet and she thought you were dead." Lady Chen said, and Madam Liu continued.

"It took us a lot of effort to calm her down and encourage her. We told her that your signal showed that you were not in the city yet, and it was only your private jet that crashed in the City." Madam Liu said.

"She must have gone through a lot even with the health complication and added to the news she saw." Liu Longwei comnted in a low tone.

He can very well imagine what his wife went through today.

"Yes brother, Lihua has gone through a lot today. She has been waiting for your return. We didn't even tell her about the latest developnt for fear she would start to worry again, and then lose focus." Liu Dongi said.

"The only thing that gave her hope to live was because we said you were fine and your signal showed you were still on your way to the country. And then, her child." Liu Huiling added as she gazed at him.

"It's alright, I'm back now, everything will go on well." Liu Longwei said.

"I will up to my room to freshen up before going to et Lihua. Dongi? Take care of the incoming calls. I am not expecting an ergency, but if one should co up, you and Huiling should settle it or pass the issue to my assistant." Liu Dongi instructed as he passed his phone to Liu Dongi.

"Longwei my child, won't you have sothing to eat before you go in to see your wife?." Old Madam Liu asked.

"No grandmother, I will eat with my wife when she wakes up." Liu Longwei replied before walking away.
