Chen Lihua waved back at her two sisters-in-law with an excited smile on her face.
"A Look at that smile. Sister-in-law, you look more mature now. In so week's ti, we would all be welcoming you to motherhood." Liu Dongi teased.
This was indeed a habit of hers!
Chen Lihua smiled without saying anything.
"How are you Lihua?." Liu Huiling asked.
"I'm fine."
"How is the baby, and I hope it's not disturbing you a lot?." Liu Huiling asked.
"The baby is fine, just been giving troubles all day." Chen Lihua replied with a smile on her face.
She didn't look like soone who was getting troubles from the baby.
"That's the way it is at this stage. The baby has few more weeks before it cos into this world, soon, you will be able to relax." Liu Huiling assured her.
"Lihua, can you let us in on the baby's gender? We are curious." Liu Dongi asked as she smiled brightly.
"Sorry Sister i, but I can't tell you." Chen Lihua said, rejecting her politely. Then she continued.
"If you would like to know the baby's gender, you have to co for the baby shower next weekend."
"Hmmm! Alright, I will be there. But don't be surprised if I find out the baby's gender before then." Liu Dongi said.
"Don't worry, I will not have any problem with it." Chen Lihua replied.
"Dongi, I guess you have sothing to say to us, but I hope it has nothing to do with going to the club?." Liu Huiling reminded.
"Ah! I almost forgot about that. Yes, I have an important announcent to make, and No, no clubs this ti around. Our wife is still heavily pregnant."
'Our wife?.' Chen Lihua thought ? with question marks above her head.
"I have a whole plan drafted out for us. This sumr, we are going to the Maldives to spend a weekend." Liu Dongi revealed with an excited smile on her face.
"That's a nice plan!." Liu Huiling replied, seemingly interested.
"Wow! ? that will be great! But I think I will be an exception." Chen Lihua said as she glanced at her baby bump.
"Don't be in low spirit, you are coming. It's just a little getaway for us, away from our children and parents." Liu Dongi said.
"Sister Ling, Sister i, don't you think the Maldives is too far? We can just use the pool in my house." Chen Lihua said suddenly.
If Liu Dongi and Liu Huiling were together at this mont, they would have exchanged glances.
"Sister-in-law, don't be old-fashioned like my brother, we are going to the Maldives, and that's final." Liu Dongi announced as Liu Huiling chuckled softly.
She was seriously having fun with this kind of conversation where has to see everyone's facial expression.
But then, she spoke up. "Lihua, Maldives is not far, so you don't have to worry about long-distance travel and the discomfort that cos with it especially in this condition."
"Sister Ling, I wouldn't mind traveling whether I'm pregnant or not. But the problem with this is that Longwei will not allow to leave this City till I deliver our child." Chen Lihua revealed as she caressed her baby bump.
"That wouldn't be a problem. I'm sure he will do anything you ask of him." Liu Dongi said while nodding.
"The case is different now. He doesn't agree to everything I request for." Chen Lihua complained.
That's true. Although Liu Longwei would do anything for her, that did not include risking her comfort.
He always weighed the pros and cons before making a decision.
"I don't think it would be difficult to convince him. You just have to whine like a child and charm him with your smile, he will certainly agree. And besides, he would be going for a long business trip soon. He can't afford to leave you in the house all by yourself." Liu Dongi responded.
