Sounds of weapons clashing echoed the battlefield. Nearby kobolds and goblins that ca rushing when they heard sounds of war, were imdiately killed in the aftermath. The stench of the multifarious corpses whose blood was now bubbling was strong enough to kill so of the weaker species.
'He's not bad,' Night thought as he sidestepped, the blade passing re inches away. The man then jumped back and threw the fireball that he summoned, instantly blowing up the place where Night stood.
"Arcane Knight's sure are a pain in the ass," Night muttered as he looked at the patch of lted snow. Monsters constantly sward them, thanks to the mana waves and the sound of battle, as well as the strong sll the corpses emitted. Both Night and the man were gaining points at an absurd rate.
"What do I call you?" Night asked suddenly.
"Huh? what? are you giving up?" The man asked with a smug expression.
"Just wanted to know what to call you,"
'Well, I can't tell him, my real na so I guess...'
"Zane," the man replied after thinking, "King Zane for you peasant,"
"Sure, just wanted to know who I'm killing,"
"Hahaha, you? kill ? so far it's been a tie so far and I applaud you for that, in fact, it's quite surprising you can keep up with ,"
"Jeez, shut up and defend," Night said before he dashed forward, 'Frost touch ti baby,'
Once Night vertically sliced at his opponent, Zane imdiately blocked it by putting his sword horizontally, but what he couldn't react to was a small thorn forming near his Achilles tendon and piercing it.
"Argh," Zane scread as he lost his balance, even after that he sohow managed to defend.
'He can still hold on? not bad, not bad at all,' Night thought as he looked at Zane backing away clumsily.
'I need to think of sothing quick....what did he even do?' Zane thought as he tried putting his weight on his injured leg, 'It's not that bad, I can probably still fight the sa but I should be more careful from now....'
"Your Highness, you good over there?" Night teased.
"Fck you! defend this!" Zane said before he charged with his sword, however this ti he infused his sword with fire.
'That's dangerous....he's definitely an Arcane Knight alright....' Night thought before he stomped the snowy ground in front of him, while normally that wouldn't cause anything, with the help of frost touch Night was able to make the snow jump up, the stomping was only an excuse to cover for his skill. Zane sliced through snow easily, with his fire-infused sword it was like cutting through butter, the second he cut through the snow, a huge double-edged sword entered his vision, the weapon was flying towards him at maddening speed.
'What the fck? he raised the snow and backed away so quickly? and he had ti to even throw his weapon? I don't think I can dodge this,' Zane thought as he moved his shoulder to take the damage, it was either that or his chest.
However, Night's attack didn't end there, he appeared behind Zane and grabbed onto Glacial Balance that was now inside Zane's shoulder and yanked it out, instantly cutting of Zane's entire arm, then Night jumped and kicked Zane from the other side, his heel landing exactly on his opponent's jaw.
'I an, I could've added an ice spike on my heel but I'm not that bad,' Night thought as he landed.
"ARGHH" Zane scread as he put his jaw back in place. 'What the heck is going on? how is he disappearing in a few seconds? just who is he.....'
"Who are you..." Zane asked in a low tone.
"Oh my! the king wants to know this peasant's na?" Night laughed, "fine. It was amusing but I'm Luke or Night,"
"Night.....wait....Night? as in-"
"Yes, as in that Night,"
"I-i...what class are you...."
"Grandmaster..."
"What!!!!??? Impossible...." Zane said as he fell to his knees.
He was an Arcane Knight, the class dubbed to be the strongest of the hidden primary classes, and yet he lost to a Grandmaster, the class that was called the weakest of the classes.
Night dropped his weapon, so it can feed on the snow, after all, he fought two continuous battles and sliced down many monsters, naturally, Glacial Balance would lose so durability.
"Look out!!" Zane scread as he pointed behind Night.
"Huh?" Night let out as he turned behind, it was Jet Sky, the pesky little cockroach that hid throughout the battle and struck when things were calming down. However, what shook everyone including Reed and Kenny who were, as usual, creepily watching Night, was Night's counter.
Jet Sky's blade made a small scratch on Night's face, however, the next second he disappeared into white particles. Nobody could understand what took place, Jet Sky's blade touched Night but the next second he died? what happened to him?
Sitting in the huge room alone, Kenny and Reed were carefully looking at Night's fight when suddenly the chairman of KYOJIN stood up.
"ATHENA analyze player Night's martial arts..." Kenny frowned as he looked at the screen.
[Analyzing...]
"Sir is sothing wrong?"
"Genesis is a ga that took years to make, it acknowledges every single type of martial arts to exist, including most of the lost texts....but for so reason, It's weird when I see him fight. Not only now, but previously as well..."

"Martial arts....consists of the basic punches and kicks, as well as grapples and whatnot but what makes each form different from the other, is the technique, similar to how throwing a straight punch and throwing a punch with rotation are different. So martial arts have micro-differences....however, having an unregistered form is going to complicate things...."
