"I didn't have the chance to get their traits until now, but those fools gave the chance for this… they will regret this."

Everyone could imagine what the enemy was thinking while smirking. He moved toward those two while ignoring Julian and Karina. However, all of a sudden, several ghost warriors appeared and attacked him with hamrs. He blocked their attacks with his forearms, but he still was pushed backward since Arilene didn't hold back on the magic power.

Before he could stop, the enemy saw the killing intent of those two behind him and they targeted his back, but then he quickly turned around and then grabbed Julian and Karina by their necks. At the sa ti, he imdiately proceeded to crush their necks, but then the enemy felt sothing else… In the next mont, he threw those two on the ground and jumped to the side. When he turned, he saw Jake swinging his sword on the spot he had been in a while ago.

"I see… no wonder I felt so slight danger."

One side of Jake's sword was covered in the dark flas, and the other was covered in the mana he had accumulated on the weapon. Combing those two seed almost impossible in most situations, but what if he used them against each other like that while creating traction to make them more powerful? That was what Jake thought when he felt that he was going to die due to the wounds he had suffered.

"Stay close to each other and keep a defensive formation," Jake said. "Don't do anything else than that. A single mistake, and he will kill us all."

"We can still fight!" Julian protested.

"Don't look down on us," Lana said. "You are the one who is wounded. We are still unscathed."

"I am saying that because you will end up getting caught in the blast of the attacks… your job is not to let them get your skills… that will make him invincible," Jake said.

The enemy charged at Jake and then aid at his heart. He moved so fast that Jake barely saw the enemy… he didn't even see shadows. Despite that, Jake swung his sword on ti to make the enemy move his arms and block the strike… the weird eyes of the enemy were filled with shock. Jake wasn't supposed to be able to keep up with him… moreover, his sword pierced his left forearm, even if only a little bit. So blood was leaving that guy's body.

All of a sudden, the blood from the wound flew to Jake's face, and while only one of them hit his face, it still began to eat away his flesh like acid… it didn't feel like the droplet would disappear so his flesh began to burn and disappear… until he burned the wound with his dark flas and made the blood disappear.

"Urgh…" Jake groaned in pain.

"As expected of you, you certainly can make quick progress when you are put against the wall."

In the next mont, he raised his arm and moved backward. It was so fast that Jake once again only saw the shadows of his movents, but Jake reacted on ti since he knew that he was going to hit his stomach again. Jake raised his left knee and blocked the attack, even though he felt his bones cracking. Fortunately, the pain disappeared soon since Lana began to heal him.

The others began to move around the area to have a clear view of the enemy. Once they found him, they began to attack nonstop. A lot of people ignored Jake's safety since they had so grudges agaisnt him, so moving only proved to be a waste of ti for the sake of them to have so excuses. Regardless, Jake jumped away from the enemy and made his sword absorb the attacks that were going to hit him. The enemy followed him, ignoring all the other projectiles, but then he looked down and then punched the air in the direction of Louise when a lightning bolt approached.

At first, Jake got confused when he saw that, but then he recalled that the enemy's rebirth wasn't completed. When he landed, he realized that the enemy couldn't use its full power… However, it was hard to say if he wouldn't recover all of it by keeping using his skills.

"I can't tell them that since it will raise the guard of that asshole…" Jake thought. "I have to make them realize that and choose the best monts to attack…"

Before Jake could think of how to do that, the enemy approached again and tried to grab him with his arms. Jake used his sword to block him, but then the enemy disappeared and reappeared behind him… the problem of speed was seriously a pain in the ass. The enemy tried to pierce Jake's back with his hand, but then a wall of dark flas got in his way. That bought Jake enough ti to turn around and swing his sword, but the enemy flew upward and then stopped three hundred ters above…

"I need to get faster… even if I strengthen my attacks, there won't be any aning if I can't hit him…" Jake thought.

While Jake was thinking about what to do, the mages of the army began to use their attacks on the enemy that was flying above them while moving. It seed that Louise noticed the sa thing as Jake, and that was why she wasn't attacking. Frederick also nodded while looking at him, but then their focus returned to the enemy when his hands began to burn…

In the next mont, the enemy punched the air, and from his fists, ten ters wide teors fell down on the area… each hit killed dozens of humans, and those that managed to dodge them were pushed away like pebbles due to the shockwaves of the attacks. The humans that were fighting there were killed like insects…
