In the next mont, the whole group appeared in the desert near the mummies pyramid. That was their next mission, but they didn't expect that they would choose it so soon. The whole group had a lot of questions to ask, but they all knew who would make them. Lana was quite flustered, which was normal, but it was more than usual. So, she stepped forward.
"Boss… Was that all true?" Lana asked.
"I told you many tis, I am not your boss, and yes… It was all true," Frederick said. "You guys won't have many chances or ti to absorb all that, though. That might be a good thing or a bad thing, and it will depend on yourselves."
"What does that an?" Louise asked.
"It ans that you have two options, do nothing and wait for sothing that you don't know how it will affect you, or do sothing that can help you," Frederick said. "You guys have potential, but you need sothing else… You need to despair a little."
"You are starting to scare …" Julian said after taking a step backward.
"I an in terms of hardship during the missions," Frederick said. "Your progress is remarkable, but you aren't doing your best. Now you will have to do that because your friend might be in danger."
"Jake? How would Jake be in danger?" Louise asked while frowning.
"I am sure you have noticed that he dislikes guilds and guild masters, and he doesn't hide that," Frederick said. "I also had a weird feeling when I saw him for the first ti. Luke was the sa… we believe that this might be because of the mories of these bodies."
"Does that an that even the avatars of the tutorial were these bodies?" Lana asked.

"That is right, you already did well against the crystal wolves, so my help won't affect your progress that much," Frederick said.
"I think that won't feel sothing like we earned, but I guess it isn't sothing that can be helped…" Louise said. "We will be counting on you, guild master. By the way… Why do you want to help Jake?"

Even so guild masters, so depending on the actions and mories of the previous owner of that body, Jake might be seen as an enemy by many people. You will have to be there to help him… He puts a strong front and acts like he doesn't care about anything, but who knows what soone will think if they see the world turning against them."
It felt like their world had turned upside down in just thirty minutes… Half an hour ago, they were talking about relaxing a bit, and now they were talking about the mories of the bodies that they were using, and that didn't belong to them. They also were talking that the relationship between people might change because of that… It was hard to say if that was insanity or not.
"Anyway, even Jake knows his limits, so he won't rush and try to kill all the monsters on a single day," Frederick said. "The creatures there are troubleso and dangerous, so he will use all the ti possible to prepare for the boss. We have four days for that."
