He didn't know if he could sell materials of monsters as well, but that much was fine for the ti being. The shield had a weird format, it was rectangular at the top and triangle-like at the bottom… It could be used with Boorang Shield, but using the shurikens to enhance that would be difficult. Jake's previous shield was better in that aspect.

After mastering that shield, Jake returned to his base and decided to experint with his new skills. However, he noticed that the air in the area was different. Sothing was off and he learned a long ti ago not to doubt his instints.
"Did they finally find ?" Jake thought while looking around.
Jake wasn't good at that kind of stuff, but it was weird that he didn't see any signs of humans in that place. He had morized the environnt completely to help him with that and yet… Moving around might be a bit dangerous, but he couldn't find any other solution to that situation.
Nevertheless, Jake activated Stealth and then began to head toward the starting point of the region. He wouldn't let anyone arrive on his territory in search of him without giving them a proper welco.
Although it wasn't snowing, Jake frowned because he didn't find signs of anyone around. Still, he kept going because his instincts never failed him. After a while, Jake left the forest that divided his ho from the plains between the mountains of the area and he found a single person fighting against so frozen Grizzlies… While Jake watched that figure struggling against three of those monsters, Jake walked around the border of the forest and he confird that no one had approached the forest.
"It seems that my instincts warned of the scent of blood," Jake said while looking around and seeing the corpses of so Grizzlies.
It is rare for people to co to this area and it is even more rare for them to stay while fighting alone. Jake got lucky because most people hated the cold of that world, so they skipped the Grizzlies' missions altogether and they headed to the next one. That was one of the reasons as to why he liked that world... people couldn't understand the appeal of snow and cold. They give him so much peace of mind... maybe he was just that weird.
In any case, Jake planned to leave the area before that guy could find any traces of him and bother him directly or indirectly by spreading information about the fact that Jake had a base there. Still, Jake stopped when he saw that guy defeating the monsters and imdiately falling on the snow afterward. It seed to be odd to be a trap. If it were one, he just had to watch the guy be killed by the monsters... it would be a half-assed strategy at best... However, he felt that it wasn't a trap.
"What a pathetic end, to fall alongside the enemies…" Jake said and then sighed.
Since that was probably the limit of that person, Jake thought that letting them die would be for the best. However, he wondered if he should do that when he saw so of the frozen Grizzlies approaching that guy. It was for the first ti that Jake realized that his conscience was so annoying… it was almost screaming in his head to prevent that death.
"The hell I am doing… I don't have ti for this," Jake thought and then used his Boorang Shield when the monsters got close to that guy.
The shield bounced and then hit on the faces of the three monsters. While it didn't kill them, it made them lose quite a lot of blood. The monsters had their vision blurred thanks to it and then Jake used his Shuriken to destroy their heads.
