After Rick blocked the first strike, he tried to kick Jake, but he reacted on ti and jumped backward. However, Rick didn't stop there. He charged toward Jake and swung his ice sword to split him in half. Jake blocked the strike with the bldu6 of his spear, but he still was pushed backward several ters…
"As expected, he is stronger… I can use this," Jake thought.
Jake could see many people in the distance approaching, but they were keeping a certain distance since Rick clearly had the upper hand. In the end, after focusing so much on defense, Jake felt his back touching the walls of the camp. He was pretty close to the hole he opened, so he headed there. However, the next sword strike forced him to stop just when he was about to cross it. Without any place to run, Rick kicked Jake's stomach. The attack made him spar so blood as well as cross the hole.
Rick frowned since the hole in the wall seed too perfect, not to ntion his sword strike hadn't been that powerful. He began to realize that sothing was amiss… However, he still followed Jake since his followers were nearby, and he couldn't fail in front of them. So, Rick crossed the hole and saw Jake getting up. He dashed yet again to attack him, but Jake retreated and escaped.
"Just show your innate skill already…" Jake thought.
Jake couldn't fight back with all his might without knowing what Rick could do with his innate skill. Still, Rick wouldn't show it unless he is forced to do so in a dangerous situation…
In the end, when Rick tried to split Jake in half again, Jake used Sonic Thrust and stopped him. In the next mont, he used Explosive Touch as well, forcing him to stagger, so Jake created an arrow of dark flas and fired it toward the enemy's head. Rick blocked the attack, but he began to sweat when he noticed that the cold aura of his weapon had vanished, not to ntion the durability was decreasing at a fearso speed. While he repelled the first attack, the second he failed, and the dark flas began to burn his left shoulder.
"AAARRRRRGGGGGHHHHHH!" Rick scread in agony, but he quickly made the flas go away with his sword.
Jake frowned when he saw that his dark flas shouldn't be extinguishable that easily… not to ntion, after screaming at first, Rick quickly recovered from the pain. Jake couldn't even see him bleeding or a big wound there.
"What the hell is going on… is that his power?" Jake thought.
In the end, both of them lost a golden chance to attack since the other was surprised by what happened. The first one to notice that sothing was off was Jake… he noticed Rick slowly moving backward. It seed that he had so crazy regeneration abilities, but even that skill had a limit. With that in mind, Jake dashed toward the enemy using Sonic Thrust. However, not even that pierced Rick's defense. Nevertheless, he didn't aim at that. When Rick pushed Jake's spear away and tried to counterattack, Jake pierced his two shoulders from behind with small-sized arrows made of his dark flas.
Both attacks pierced Rick's bones and muscles, and he could not move his arms. Due to their position as well, he couldn't extinguish it. Adding all that to the pain and fear made Rick sweat cold.
"Hasta la vista, asshole," Jake said and then dashed toward Rick.
At the last mont, Rick still managed to use all his defensive spells to increase his defense. Jake also noticed attacks raining over the area. It was probably thanks to Rick's allies who noticed that he was in danger, but Jake ignored all of them. Nurous magic projectiles burned, pierced, froze, and poisoned him, but Jake still used Sonic Thrust alongside his dark flas to pierce Rick's heart.
"Curse… you…" Rick muttered before his body fell lifeless to the ground.

"The nerve of so people… this fucking asshole tries to kill by using an assassin, and he still curses in the last mont…" Jake said, and then he turned around to see his many allies of Rick fast approaching. "Screw it…"
In the end, Jake summoned his claymore and then fired Mana Blades toward all of them. While he only ca to kill Rick, those who tried to hurt him deserved to suffer by getting hit by Mana Blade. If they die or not, Jake really couldn't care less. His continuous attacks, thanks to his unusually large mana pool, made them hesitate in approaching. Not to ntion, several people got heavily wounded by Mana Blades.
"This should be enough…" Jake said, and then he picked Rick's sword, his magic box that was attached to his waist, and so rings that he had.
It seed a bit wrong to loot soone he just defeated like that. Still, Jake didn't hesitate since he wanted so compensation for all the trouble Rick caused to him. Once he confird that Rick didn't have anything valuable with him, Jake began to run away at his max speed. At first, the guild mbers tried to pursue him, but they eventually lost Jake in the darkness of the night…
