Ma Lu was also taken aback by Lao Hei's words.
Although Old Wang had ntioned that the Pirate King would not bother picking up trash, Ma Lu had never imagined that they would directly offer him a Plane Spaceship.
After all, judging by the appearance of that Golden Sli, it seed only interested in getting so cookies to eat.
Such generosity was almost absurd, but soon, Ma Lu thought of sothing else.
According to what Lao Hei had said earlier, the Pink Whale Ship was intercepted by Dinsional Pirates just before a dinsional transition.
That simple sentence actually contained a lot of information; the smugglers weren't pushovers, especially with Sir M's sharp sword hanging over their heads.
Upon encountering Dinsional Pirates, they would definitely have resisted desperately, likely sparking a major battle between the two sides that ended with the eradication of the Smuggling Group.
The current condition of the Pink Whale Ship was hard to say; for all he knew, it could have been riddled with holes by now.
Otherwise, even if the Golden Sli knew Old Wang, it wouldn't make sense for it to generously hand over a Plane Spaceship to him.
Lao Hei probably realized this point too, sighed, and sank back into his seat, muttering.
"Forget it, it doesn't matter anymore. The Pink Whale Smuggling Group is gone, and I don't have many days left to live anyway."
"Don't rush to drown your sorrows in alcohol, perhaps you haven't reached a dead end yet," Ma Lu comforted.
"No, you don't understand Sir M; he is the type of person who only cares about results, not processes. He won't spare out of pity just because the rest of the Pink Whale mbers are gone," said Lao Hei.
"I indeed don't understand Sir M, but I have encountered Dinsional Pirates a few tis and they don't seem as terrifying as the rumors suggest."
Lao Hei's eyes widened, "Are you joking? The first ti you saw those guys in the park, they blew my head off without a word."
"That's because you stole their bread machine first; that bread machine is very important to them."
Ma Lu paused for a mont, "Of course, they are pirates, not good people, but it still seems possible to negotiate with them."
"Negotiate, what negotiation?" asked Lao Hei, startled.
"That bread machine; you need it desperately to save your life, don't you?"
"Are you saying… to negotiate and trade with those Dinsional Pirates for that bread machine?"
Lao Hei shook his head vigorously, "Let's not even talk about what I have to trade with them, didn't you just say that bread machine is very important to them?"
"Right, but it's different now, they have a substitute for that bread machine now."
Ma Lu had just learned the relationship between Old Wang and that bread machine in the kitchen earlier, and a plan had vaguely begun to form in his mind.
The plan was sowhat crazy, and he hadn't thought it through thoroughly, but as more information beca available, the crazy plan resurfaced in his mind.
And it beca clearer and clearer.

However, there were still so details that had to be confird after asking Old Wang.
Ma Lu said to Lao Hei, "Wait for for a mont."
After finishing his words, he returned to the kitchen, where Old Wang had just finished baking the pumpkin cookies for Lady Cheng.
However, Lady Cheng was already gone; Ma Lu directly brought the plate of cookies over to the Golden Sli.
The latter imdiately conjured a tentacle that grabbed one of the pumpkin cookies and retracted.
Through its translucent skin, Ma Lu could clearly see the cookie resting at its chest, enveloped by its body.
As ti passed, the cookie slowly shrank, which was quite magical.
Before the cookie completely disappeared, the Golden Sli picked up a second one…
It seed to be enjoying its al, munching one cookie after another, its body swaying like an emperor penguin.
Seeing this bolstered Ma Lu's confidence a bit more.
While the Golden Sli was dining, he pulled Old Wang aside and whispered, "Since you have dealt with these Dinsional Pirates before, you must know what they like to eat."
"The Kulukulu are omnivorous like humans," Old Wang replied. "Of course, they have a stronger preference for bread and biscuits, mainly because these items are easy to store."
"What if, I an, if we could strike a deal with them to supply their pirate ships with food," Ma Lu outlined his plan.
"You want to sell them food?"
"Exactly. We have surplus ingredients now, don't we? Although we had agreed on a purchase price with those Plane Smugglers, the Pink Whale has now been destroyed, and it's unclear when the next Smuggling Group will co.
"I was thinking selling the surplus to these Dinsional Pirates might be a good idea. They seem quite wealthy. But I still have a few questions that need to be clarified first. How reliable are they?"
"Very," Old Wang said. "The Kulukulu Clan, unlike humans, don't understand the concept of lies, so whatever they promise, they will do. Conversely, if you fail to fulfill a promise to them, it will provoke their fierce retaliation."
This statent made Ma Lu hesitate a bit, primarily because it's always the unexpected that one fears the most, and no one knows what might happen in the future.
However, Ma Lu quickly thought of a solution and asked, "What is the appetite of these Kulukulu People like?"
"About one-fifth of a human's," Old Wang said. "There are always exactly 244 Kulukulu on a pirate ship, no more, no less, as per their tradition. However, they eat four als a day."
Ma Lu did a quick calculation and found that if they sealed the deal, they would need to supply roughly 3400 lbs of food a week.
The current output of the Desktop Farm could almost cover that, and to be safe, they could upgrade it by one level, which should be sufficient.
Old Wang then reminded, "The Kulukulu People really despise The Grand Alliance; they refuse the official Star Currency, so even if you secure their orders, you won't earn any Star Currency from them."
"No matter, since they are pirates, they must have valuable goods. We can simply barter trade them if needed," Ma Lu had already made a plan in his mind.
"One last question, are you sure these guys are actually communicable?" Ma Lu had tried speaking to the Golden Sli earlier, but the results were unsatisfactory, akin to talking to a wall.
"Yes, but it will take so ti," Old Wang said. "Besides, among the Kulukulu, there are individuals like Lao Hei who are responsible for trading, and their communication skills are much stronger than the others of their kind."
"Alright, I understand."
Ma Lu already had a definitive plan in mind, but he still needed soone else to cooperate.
Mainly because Ma Lu himself did not want to bear the risk of retaliation from the Dinsional Pirates due to possible mishaps, he leveraged his experience in business operations to involve a third party who would take on the risks instead.
Of course, that person was not without benefits; if the deal went through, that would an the Dinsional Pirates wouldn't need that bread machine for at least the short term.
This, in turn, provided him with a chance to survive.
Furthermore, Ma Lu also needed that person's expertise; if the goods paid by the Dinsional Pirates in the future did not et his needs, he could resell them through that person to others, exchanging them for Star Currency.
