When Ma Lu opened his eyes again, he found himself back in Holy Temple City.
He first put on his helt and logged into the Secondary Tour System he had used before, where the cheerful virtual hostess Yun Que greeted him.
"Welco back, Sir Knight, let us battle for order once more today! Oh, by the way, you have new quests and ssages, rember to check them."
Despite hearing this, Ma Lu didn't rush to see the quests and ssages but instead took his ti to search the hopage, where he found a semi-hidden small button.
After clicking, a character list popped up, and Ma Lu switched Yun Que for Hellhound.
A purple-haired girl dressed in a pilot's jacket appeared on his ho screen, leaning in to lick her lips at him.
"You look tasty, Knight~"
Ma Lu then tried the character at the end of the list, a red-haired girl with a deadpan face holding a book.
"I'm reading, which is my way of relaxing," Bliss Bird said without looking up. "If Sir Knight has no other business, could you give so private space, please?"
After hearing that, Ma Lu poked her again.
"That disaster... its cause remains a mystery till this day, and there's constant debate within the Church about it. To the outside world, though, they insist it was divine punishnt."
Ma Lu poked her again.
"Why do I love reading so much? Because one day, we'll all die, but words will continue to live on."

After trying all the characters, Ma Lu decided to stick with Bliss Bird, mainly because Yun Que was a bit too lively and talkative.
Hellhound, though she occasionally provided so special rewards, could be insulting, whereas the red-haired girl was the best choice. Moreover, her voice, devoid of much emotional fluctuation, was quite soothing to listen to, akin to giving his ears a massage.
Having switched the virtual hostess, Ma Lu then opened the communication module, where there were a few ssages.
The one at the top was from a day ago, from the Church's Weaponry Departnt, informing him that his armor had been repaired and was ready for collection at any ti.
One could not deny the good treatnt of the Knights; not only were they assigned dwellings and flying vehicles, given access to specialized hospitals and training grounds, but each was also furnished with two sets of armor.
If one set got damaged, they could wear the other, and the repairs were free of charge.
The armor Ma Lu had found previously had a gash on the chest plate, significantly lowering its durability and defensive power, which he had sent to the Weaponry Departnt for restoration. It looked like it was now repaired.
Ma Lu scrolled down for more ssages; the next one was from Yun Que, saying she was training at the shooting range and had just beaten her personal best score, accompanied by a photo of her wearing noise-canceling headphones, goggles, and aiming a gun.
Besides that, Yun Que would send him a few ssages every other day, diverse in content, and despite Ma Lu not replying, she continued to tirelessly share her life with him.

The Weaponry Departnt occupies the 11th, 12th, and 45th to 47th floors of The Great Tower, but only the 11th and 12th floors are open to the public.
Ma Lu visited the 11th floor, which had a glass door marked with the symbol of a sword and shield.
The young Monk in charge of receiving him was about twenty-sothing years old, nad Xi Xi.
After Ma Lu explained what he ca for, Xi Xi led him to a terminal. He casually flipped through it and found that it contained hundreds of pages of weapons and equipnt.
Xi Xi proudly said, "The Weaponry Departnt gathers the city's top chanics and engineers. We represent the pinnacle of human civilization's technological level."
After pausing, Xi Xi continued, "If Sir Knight finds it overwhelming, you might want to try the weapon recomndation feature. Just enter your knight ID, and the weapons system will automatically match weapons and equipnt suitable for the witches under your command."

Regarding the knight ID, Ma Lu didn't know what the original owner's ID was at first until he tried the number ID beneath the rank to unlock his apartnt door, which worked.
So this ti he confidently entered that ID number, and soon enough, the terminal in front of him displayed the results.
