Dude just walked in, shanked a literal Vanguard pyrokinetic speedster IN HIS OWN HOUSE, and now we got footage of him ghost-phasing through walls and wrecking junior Watch capes like it’s nothing.
We’re calling him “Eclipse” now apparently??? Any solid info on this guy?

What I don’t get is how he pulled it off. Sunstrider wasn’t just fast—he had thermal precog. Dude could see heat movent three seconds ahead. You’d have to be intangible and unpredictable to get around that. Which, okay, explains a lot, but still—he died. That’s… unreal.

“He was my father,” Chadwick said, flanked by SRC agents and a family lawyer. “He wasn’t perfect, but no one deserves what happened to him. Not like that. Not ambushed in his own ho.”
The “that” Chadwick referred to is now one of the most controversial and dissected cape killings in recent history: a brutal stabbing and arson that left the Hamilton estate in ruins and Sunstrider’s secret identity publicly revealed in death. And at the heart of it all stands a singular figure—a person in a bonnet mask, phasing through walls, slipping between capes, and wielding a knife like a whisper of death.
The Superhuman Regulation Commission (SRC) has officially designated the suspect with the code-na Mask, citing their long-standing policy of neutral or non-threatening titles for unidentified villains. Past nas like “Snip,” “Mottle,” and “Dipper” follow this tradition.
But the na the public has seized upon is different.
“Eclipse.”
Where the SRC sought to sanitize, the dia—hungry for infamy—glorified. The na “Eclipse” first appeared in local news captions beneath grainy robbery footage. Then it spread online—forums, cape watch groups, even tabloid reels. Unlike ‘Mask,’ it stuck.
No one’s entirely sure who coined it first.

A few grainy fras of Eclipse slipping away from the scene of the Dragon Fist bar massacre on January 27 have sparked speculation that Sunstrider wasn’t his first kill—nor his last.
“Two public cape deaths, one month. Both stab wounds. Both ghosted clean,” said cri blogger Cryptix. “You don’t start your spree with Sunstrider unless you’ve already dipped your hands in blood.”

The dragon bar kill? Rumor is it was Iron Fang, leader of the Dragon Fist gang. No official ID, but the tiline fits.
If Eclipse is knocking off gang capes and Vanguard elites, what we’re seeing isn’t random violence.

Did anyone save the Iron Fang clip before it got nuked? I only caught a few seconds. Eclipse just dropped out of nowhere—literally from the ceiling—and buried a knife in his throat. No hesitation, one clean motion. Iron Fang spasd once, then hit the floor.
No fighting. No warning. Just gone.
Also—THE OUTFIT?!
That was full executioner glam. Porcelain mask, slim hat, fitted black suit and tie. Not your usual street-cape armor. Guy looked like a ghost at a funeral.

Iron Fang’s skin is rated for Class-3 impact resistance. This is a guy who ate rebar during a warehouse collapse and walked away. The man’s been shot at point-blank with nothing worse than a bruise.

My guess? Phased the blade into the throat past external dermal plating, then solidified and pulled.

^^ Confirming what Ursine said: I slowed the vid fra-by-fra (yes, I downloaded it—fight ). Eclipse phases halfway through descent. He’s already inside Iron Fang’s personal space before the knife is visible.
It wasn’t a stab—it was a detonation from inside soft tissue.

What Happened:
- First sighting of Eclipse (not nad at the ti)

Serial killer or rcenary? So say both. Others say the na’s popularity cos from a mix of public fear and dia obsession with lone-killer anti-heroes.
Was Iron Fang the start of a pattern? Unclear.
Will Pride retaliate?
Most users say no. Dragon Fist was under Pride’s influence, but not “real Pride.” He was just rented muscle, not one of their cape elites.
They’ll probably let it slide—unless Eclipse starts targeting their core.
