Adam arrived at the shop after two hours. As the door opened, Boa, who had been pacing around the room this whole ti ca to a stop.
"S-So, you are back." She tried to hide it, but Boa was unable to match his golden eyes head-on. But it wasn't out of fear.
'He looks so handso with them! I didn't think he could get better looking than how good he looked before!' The wild yet refined air those eyes gave Adam pulled her deeper into the abyss of infatuation and love.
"Everything is sorted out, now all we need to do is discuss the paynt." He sat down, inviting her to take a seat next to him. A cynical cold air around him.
As she took him up on the offer, a wellspring of happiness burst forth in Boa's heart as her ears lted by his voice. The day she wished to see, would happen now. There wasn't a lick of doubt in her mind that Adam would fail. After all, he did give his word to her and that was more concrete than any contract or promise. But more than that, she was happy to et him.
"I'll first say this. If I had another way of helping you that didn't require this paynt, I would've done that without hesitation."
Boa couldn't understand his wording or the reason for it, but she knew that even Adam had so regulations he had to follow. It wasn't that unusual considering devil fruit abilities.
"It is fine… No matter the price, if it is you… I am willing to give it up."
'As long as it doesn't require my life, I do not want my ti with him to cut short.' Boa's face turned red at her own thoughts.
"Here is the contract, take your ti to consider it." Adam handed her the paper he had prepared in the anti. The contract itself wasn't different from the previous ones he had made.
Just that he didn't know what Boa's reaction would be. In the story he knew, Boa hated n and when she entered the shop her hatred was on full display. However, Luffy got through to her with his sincerity and pure intentions.
'Our current situation mirrors that, but in a different way. It isn't an act on my part, I really do want to help her, but there is a bit of a plotting in this on my part too. So, I don't know if I'd get her understanding…' The only thing keeping Robin's tiline safe was his shadow. One that ford from his actions which affected the world, making that worldline unique compared to others in that universe.
Although he had stopped the Administrator from taking any action for now with force, that worldline could still be destroyed if the Administrator decided to work out of spite and sacrifice things.
To prevent that he needed to strengthen his image in that world. Even if he wasn't a part of that world, if his being stuck in the minds of the inhabitants, the universe would give that image born out of collective thoughts an identity. And if soone wanted to erase that tiline, they would have to erase that image, and to erase that fully ford image one would need to kill him first. Sothing that the Administrator of Robin's world can't achieve.
Adam had achieved part of it with his actions as a public enemy the Marines made him out to be, and this attack on the World Governnt would cent it. He would probably go down in history as the worst terrorist. People would talk about him and his cris for centuries to co. This still paled in comparison to his reputation in the world he was summoned to, but that was another matter.
'She must be having a hard ti thinking about this deal…' Adam hadn't heard an answer from Boa. He wasn't facing her so she could have so privacy while thinking.
"Hancock, yo-" But when he turned to look at her, Adam found her passed out. Her back straight as an arrow while blood dripped down her nose, coloring her white robe crimson.
"…I have a bad feeling about this." He sighed, seeing her flushed face. With a white towel, he wiped the blood off of her and laid her down on the sofa.
"…Adam… not now…" Hearing her mutters, he let out a chuckle.
"Maybe it isn't that bad, but compared to Darkness anyone looks normal." He shook his head caressing her cheek, sohow her sleeping face resembled Robin's. But his eyes lingered on Boa's body for a mont.
Her bathrobe was too short and she wasn't wearing anything underneath. It wasn't the ideal clothing article to have when her body moved a lot. If it wasn't for Adam fixing her robe, her twin mountains would've already broken free by now.
"I suppose I can give her so special service for the trouble." A golden thread reel about the size of a human head hovered over his hand.
These were special threads of the Holy Arachne. Sothing the holy beast produced only two ters of per year, but Adam had other ways of obtaining it. Now, he had enough to use for a millennium.
"Let's see, what sort of dress would suit her…"
Given Boa's figure and beauty, Adam doubted there existed a style that wouldn't suit her. However, upon closer inspection, there was one style that'd suit her well in his opinion. Boa had large breasts, a narrow waist, wide hips paired with luscious thighs, and long legs that'll put any model to sha. Along with her sharp and well-featured face, she had it all.
"A qipao it is." He decided.
The thread swam through the air and started to wrap around Boa's body, it took but an instant for the bathrobe to get discarded as the golden Qipao ford around her. With precise control Adam changed the thread color, turning it into a white qipao with golden accents.
"Ugh…" Around that ti Boa stirred up. She sat up on the sofa and her eyes t Adam's, turning her face red in an instant.
"Do you like the dress?" To sweep the awkward atmosphere away, Adam placed a full-body mirror in front of her.
"W-When?" Boa's eyes widened. She stood up on instinct to check the qipao that fit her snugly.
Even if fitted to her bodyline, it didn't feel uncomfortable. The cloth was soft on her skin and stretched to accompany her movents perfectly. The long slit on the left side reaching her thigh made it easier for her to fight, and most importantly it elevated her natural charm to another level when the long leg peeked out of the dress.
"I made it when you were asleep. Don't worry, I didn't peek at your body." Adam smiled at her awed look. He could say with 100% certainty that she liked the dress, her eyes gave it away.
"N-No that's no… Ahem* Thank you for the lovely dress, I will never part with it." Boa's girly voice, suddenly turned serious and powerful, like when she first ca into the shop.
"As long as you like it. So, about the contract…"
"A-About that…" Half of her bravado vanished, but she held on this ti. "…I'll accept it on one condition."
"What is it?" Adam asked.
"I-I need ti to… p-prepare myself." Boa fidgeted, all her previous majesty going down the drain.
"Of course, that's natural." However, Adam smiled in understanding. "It is written in the contract. As long as it is done after six months of completing the task, there would be no issues. I did that to give you enough ti, knowing about the nature of the price."
"Y-Yes, I read that." Boa coughed.
'I didn't make it past the Sex for a week part and passed out!!' Boa wanted to slam her head on the floor and shout to the sky. 'I can't let him know that, seriously cannot!!!'
Unlike her chaotic ntal state, Boa looked calm on the surface, at least a little.
"Well then, shall we?" Adam extended his hand towards her.
"…Yes, let's." Boa's mind blanked for a mont when her fingers wrapped around her palm. The ti for her to leave the past behind had co. She allowed herself to be guided towards a bright future by the one who held her hand.
The two left the shop through the door to arrive in her world.
