"D-Did you talk with Akeno while I was asleep?" Although she now used it to change the subject. Rias wanted to ask this from the beginning but then got sidetracked because of Ophis upon entering the room.
"Sothing like that," Adam nodded. He couldn't tell her the details, as it wasn't the talk Rias expected.
"I see... Thank you for that." But, she didn't plan to ask for details. Just knowing that he talked with her brought her much-needed peace.
"Were you worried?" Rias nodded, she was more than worried about Akeno.
"It did happen because of ."
"Don't worry she doesn't hold it against you." Although he tried to console her, Adam knew it wouldn't work.
"That's how she is, always understanding. But, I couldn't be like that and ended up making her act that way. All so I could feel a little better." Rias sighed. These subconscious actions of hers made this situation worse, and in the end, she couldn't even solve it herself.
Adam didn't know what to say. He wasn't in a position to say anything right now. Rias' actions weren't unwarranted, she always had that type of personality and Akeno didn't mind going with it, but that wasn't good either. Rias understood how bad she would've felt if the situation flipped on her. More importantly, she did this to her best friend.
"Don't worry Adam. I'll improve. I won't make a mistake like this again." She said.
Adam sighed, it seed that she had misjudged the situation.
"Rias, you know that Akeno isn't angry with you. Neither am I." She was about to speak but he stopped her, there was still more, "She knows that you tend to act like you want to be put first, but that is only on the surface. We both know that."
Rias looked away from his eyes. She didn't like that he was right about this.
'Even when I thought about the family, it wasn't just in that house. Akeno was there, and the kids too. They weren't mine alone... let's just stop right there...' Before her mind went in the wrong direction again, she shut that thought down.
Being the first one, she wanted that no doubt. But, that didn't an that she was above the second or the third. It was an empty title, but she wanted it. It was her being selfish, but she didn't expect it to affect Akeno's behavior. So, it made her angry not only with herself, but she was angry at Akeno for not telling her off. After all, she believed her to do that.
"It is fine, I'll try to make sure she doesn't do it again." Adam's words roused her curiosity. What did he do to change the stubborn Akeno's mind? But, she decided to not ask.
"Go a little easy on her for , okay?" He gave her a nod to her request. He didn't plan on doing anything too crazy. In a way, what he was doing wasn't even worth ntioning according to himself.
"Let us rest now." It was getting late and Rias had school tomorrow morning.
'It would be hard to fix my behavior that soon. But I'll work hard too.' Rias thought looking at his face, 'When it cos to him my brain stops working.' She knew it was a fatal flaw that caused and would cause more problems for her.
That was the reason she wanted to fix it. Chasing the spot of the first wasn't good. Because with Adam there wouldn't be such thing as first or second.
"Can't sleep?" He asked.
"It'll take a while, so keep your hands around ." Rias buried her face in his chest.
"Okay." He said rubbing her back to soothe her.
'Yeah, that's just how he is.' That was the last thing she thought drifting into sleep.

The next morning ca.
Rias didn't know why, but it felt like the night passed by in a blink. Unwilling, she had to leave the bed and, most importantly Adam's arms. But, Grayfia pulled her out and got her ready for school with zero remorse. Thankfully, Adam ca along with her, though she had to attend classes and couldn't spend ti with him.
The first period was unbearably long as her mind still wandered around the place. And by the second her deskmate went missing. Akeno left the class for a visit to the bathroom but hadn't returned by the end of the period.
'She must've gone to Adam to talk about her punishnt and make up for her actions.' Rias smiled gazing out of the window. She could guess where she went and what she was doing.
Only if she knew how correct she was.
In the Occult Research Club room. Adam sat on the sofa enjoying his tea and so old books. That was until Akeno walked in. With her face flushed and an unsteady gait, she stood in front of him.
"Adam, I can't... endure this..." Biting her lips she looked at him. Hoping he'd put her out of her misery, but his face remained unchanged.
"You will have to get through it." Akeno gulped at his serious tone.
Although she didn't want to complain about this treatnt, it was unbearable for her. She had been waiting for him to return for a while and when the ti for her to get so much-needed action. This happened.
Her body trembled, she didn't know how long this would last. But, Akeno was sure she wouldn't last for long.
Not even a day had passed and she was on the breaking point. The worst part was that he ordered her to not pleasure herself. The only reason Akeno could handle his absence was because of her hands, but now she couldn't do that. And the heat in her body beca too much for her in just one night after he left her on the edge yesterday.
'That is why it is so hot~.' But, she had no plans of going against it.
Akeno was a massive masochist when it ca to Adam, whether that be in bed or in real life. It didn't matter what he did to her, she would accept it. In a way, she wanted him to punish her even if she didn't make a mistake, she'd still take it with a smile. But, the reason this held more significance to her was because it ca from a place of love and care.
He didn't like the way she put herself down. So, to correct that part of her, she had to go through this. It was the best thing to happen in her eyes. But, because he cared, she knew he wouldn't be too heartless. Because that wasn't sothing Adam would do.
"Akeno co close." Patting on the space beside him, he called for her like she was a dog. At least that was how she saw it.
Her body moved and rested her firm buttcheeks on his right thigh. Almost like a natural reaction. Although surprised, he decided to not talk about it and went into action.
"This is a one-ti thing. Rias asked to go a bit easy on you." Adam's hand pulled on her left thigh to spread her legs.
"I'll be sure to T-Thank her later... Hng~..." Akeno's breath hitched when his palm slid up her aty thighs to enter her skirt. His heat perated into her flesh and made her shiver as the hand reached its destination.
"Where's your underwear?"

Totally didn't forget to schedule the Chapters for the past two days...
