“So, tell your na and a little more about your problem?” He asked, taking a sip of the lemon tea. The note on the door should’ve given her sufficient information already.

‘If only I could’ve written that ssage myself.’ He sighed while the elf took a deep breath.

“My na is Celestine Lucross, and I am the High Queen of Eostia. As for the reason I am before you, I implore you to save the innocent people of the Empire of Eostia from the Black Dog rcenaries.” She was in a tough spot because Celestine could save them as well on her own.

But the leader of the Black Dog rcenaries wanted to turn her into a sex slave, just like he had done with the other mbers of the seven shields. The people she knew were being paraded around towns and raped by the civilians they protected. It was a cruel battle with no hope of victory as the army of her Empire faced one defeat after another.

So, she was about to give in to stop further casualties from happening in this war. And as she was talking to the leader of Black Dog rcenaries who walked into her temple presenting her the terms. She wished for a better way to save her fellow Seven Shields and the nuns, wanting to provide a better future for her citizens who were now thrown into war because of her rule.

She had prayed hoping there would be a miracle, and like an act of god. The door appeared before her like a ray of light in the utter darkness she found herself in. So, she walked through it with no hesitation and now she was here, sitting in front of the God himself. Soone she believed would help the innocent with his magnanimous heart.

“So, you want to end the Black Dog rcenaries, right?” Adam’s face scrunched up slightly. Raping won and treating them like sex slaves, that was their end goal?

This situation brought up so really bad mories, which is why he was unhappy. He was lucky enough to escape this reality, but Celestine and her kingdom couldn’t. It had reached the point that they had arrived in front of her, and she had no other choice but to sacrifice herself to minimize the damage.

“It doesn’t have to be that way, if it can be concluded peacefully then I do not mind.” Celestine didn’t want more blood to be shed, whether it was of her people or of the n that followed Black Dog rcenaries and their Sex Empire. She had hope that they could turn over a new leaf if given a chance, and that was a bad way of thinking.

“Celestine, what do you think would’ve happened if you had surrendered? Do you think they would’ve spared your nuns and the won?” Her eyes widened noticing the dull golden glow in his eyes. It was like he could see through everything about her, about her past and possible future. Knowing the words she would utter next, or what she was feeling at the mont.

“You think they would keep their word? If it had continued, every woman in the Empire would be treated that way for hundreds of years to co, and it would slowly spread to the neighboring countries which they will acquire through the sa tactics.” Adam’s face was devoid of any expression. Celestine’s feelings were correct. He saw many possible futures for her, along with the world and everyone in it. And all it took was a few monts.

And what he saw was enough to compel him to slaughter every male in that kingdom including the children. She had been saved from a grim fate, It was an act of god that the door appeared in front of her.

“So, there is no chance that they would ever be good n?” Celestine asked, her shoulders trembled slightly as the temperature in the room dropped.

But she needed the answer to this question, through her long years she had seen many scum turn over to beco n of faith that spent the rest of their lives helping others. Even if that didn’t write off the atrocities they committed, but by simply having the chance they were able to help many others.

“Never.” It was sad but it was the truth.

Those n had no chance of being good n, no matter how many chances they were given. He had seen the outcos, and there was no change in them if Celestine was left in charge. But thinking about this, there was a pang of guilt in his heart.

“Then… I will leave their judgnt in your hands, My Lord.” Celestine lowered her head without any argunt or desire for proof, which he found weird, considering how kind her innate nature was. Adam was sure she might push so more and he was ready to explain if needed, but there was no need for that.

“There is no way I would second guess the words of the Almighty.” She continued considering his confusion. It was a sign of her trust and Adam didn’t know how to receive it.

“I wouldn’t think of too highly if I were you.” She tilted her head at the wry smile he showed. How could she not think of him in high regard when he exuded such brilliance, even the breath he exhaled had more divinity than her body.

And just sitting in the sa room as him made her feel as if she was on a cloud, the divinity in the air washed over her soothing her mind and body.

It was a Divine experience that she wouldn’t notice without the ability to see divine power that seeped out of him like a wellspring. That is why she didn’t and couldn’t understand why he would say that. Was this a test of sorts? And the answer ca soon.

“Celestine you read the words at the door, yes?” She nodded at his question. She lost herself in his presence, to the point that she forgot the sacrifice ntioned at the door. But this part was easy for her, as the one receiving it was Adam.

“Whatever it may be I accept.” She believed that he could realize her wish, so she did not see any problem with it. As this was better than compromising with the n who would only bring about suffering to everyone, no matter how many chances they were given.

“At least hear what you have to do,” Adam sighed, this was another weird encounter he had. At this point, he wondered if there was sothing wrong with him. But there wasn’t and there was nothing wrong with the ones who reacted differently.

‘Everyone has their reactions after all.’ He had seen quite a few types of these cases first-hand, but he always treats this topic with importance as it could be that the person in front of him takes it seriously.

“There is no need. If the lord wants my life, he shall have it.” Celestine’s expression didn’t change, this wasn’t lip service.

If Adam told her to slit her throat at this mont she will do it, if it ant that he would help Eostia. She was once again ready to put others ahead of herself, but this ti there was a little selfishness in her heart.

“No, it isn’t anything like that. What I would need in return for helping you is sex.” He sounded awfully serious at the mont.

It was clear that Celestine viewed him in high regard, but truthfully he wasn’t any better than the Black Dog rcenaries. That is how he viewed himself, and he accepted it along with the problems that will co with it.

One of them was losing credibility with the won he t. And he was correct, in the current situation Celestine may have escaped from The Black Dog rcenaries, but she was now in his hands. Both of them were asking for the sa thing about her, but there was a difference between them.

“I accept, please Lord help us.” Celestine was willing to trust him more than the rcenaries who had rcilessly violated won, and will continue to do so for years to co if left alone.

Compared to them, she would easily choose him. Because of the feeling in her heart, her eyes, her mind, her body, every part of her trusted him the mont she walked through the door.

‘It is the Will of the Divine.’ Celestine lowered her head in reverence glancing at his sculpted face, if he wanted to make her a woman she wouldn’t resist. No matter what he did to her, or the Empire she would accept it. Because she believed that he would do no wrong.

“…Let’s make the contract then.”
