"Is that why you brought here?" He stared at her devious smirk and knew that sothing was wrong.
"Yes, I want to steal you from her, then we can call it even~," Hino downed the can of beer and threw it across the room, staining the carpet with no consideration. She was now focused on her goal, which was to take Makima's boyfriend. Leaning over to press Adam on the sofa, she licked her lips.
"Adam, let's do it," She asked while unbuttoning her collared shirt, Adam grabbed her by the shoulders, "Oh, so you are raring to g-?!" but what she thought was his initiative, turned out to be his defense.
"Ok, I'll have to stop you right there," Adam pushed her away with a sigh. She had gotten things wrong, which was the reason behind her hasty decisions.
"Makima and I aren't dating... So, you don't need to do this," He explained as Hino blinked. How did that make sense?
"But you guys did it, right?" She asked and he didn't show a reaction, or at least he tried to, "What is the relationship between you two anyway?" It was confusing to her. They surely had sex and were out on dates. Makima even brought him to a drinking party and openly kissed him in a steamy way.
'And she acts like a woman in love around him, her eyes are always on him and she gets what he needs instantly. It is almost creepy how perfect she is with that.' Hino had noticed this during the drinking party and the aftermath. Makima's behavior was strange, but she didn't shrink at showing her affection. And from an outside perspective, Adam never failed to receive it.
"Well… The relationship between us is kind of special. I think it will still take so ti before I can define it in proper terms," His words along with his slightly red ears caused Hino's lips to quirk up in a smirk.
"Then you guys are just fuck buddies, if that is true then there is no need for you to stop right?" Knowing that this was much easier than what she expected. Hino made a move again, trying to straddle him.
"Well…" Adam was now in a tough spot. She had made a good point, as the two weren't dating, them having sex shouldn't change anything. And she wanted to continue with her plan because even if Adam said this, she was able to see it.
'I never thought I would ever see it happen but, Makima is in love.' Hino could sense it because she had the sa feelings towards soone, it just showed in the person's eyes and mannerisms when the one they love is around, 'And he looks unsure, so this is the chance. If I let it slip, I wouldn't be able to do anything…'
"That isn't the reason I stopped you. I stopped it because you are forcing yourself to do this," But for all the planning, her body stopped when he said that. It was like she was hit with a hamr on the head.
"…What do you an? Can't you see I am on top of you, I want to do this," Hino whispered in his ear while pressing her rear on his lap. She didn't want to face him so she tried to hide her face, but there was one big mistake.
"You told your plans rember?" Adam deadpanned and a light bulb went off on top of Hino's head. She had indeed been a bit too forward.
"Oh! Can you like pretend you didn't hear that? Pretty please with a cherry on top?" She pleaded with her hands together, but he shook his head. What he would do was already determined and nothing could change it.
"Hino you understand that I am not losing out anything here. I get to have sex with a beautiful woman, I would be happy… if you were attracted to . But that isn't the case here," Adam said while Hino looked away. For soone who made such bold moves, she didn't expect to be confronted with the sa boldness.
"Can't you like…not be this blunt? You make feel like I am selling my body or sothing?" This was the last thing she wanted to do but…
"That is what you are doing, right now you are selling your body for petty revenge that has no relevance. If you like the guy just go for him, doing this will not help you achieve anything." A frown appeared on Hino's face when she heard him. She thought that he would be saying helpful, but it was this crap.
"Do you think I haven't tried? It didn't work," She said begrudgingly.
"Then try more," Adam sighed. Giving up was never the option no matter the situation. Not only does it put you back on square one, but it also causes all of the ti you have put into the goal till that point, to be a complete and utter waste.
But there were tis when the goal was just too unrealistic to reach. No matter how much one tries, it would be a waste of ti. And for Hino, pursuing Aki was sothing similar.
"Hey, Adam, do you know why they call the kissing machine?" Hino asked and he was perplexed by this curveball. He didn't know they called her that. And why would anyone call her that? What had she done to get such a na?
"Why does anyone call you that?" He asked.
"It is because I started kissing anyone around when I was drunk, or at least that is how I act drunk… You see I did that to use it as an excuse to kiss Aki, even when he was drunk. He pushed away, and I still try by inviting him over for drinks every two weeks but guess what, he always… always pushes away." A sad smile adorned her lips as all of those mories flashed before her eyes, they were like wounds that she could never cover up, "It is like soone is controlling him, but I think that it is because he is so focused on Makima. So focused that whatever I do, always goes unnoticed by him."
"Wait if you aren't drunk… then the reason you threw up... It can't be right?" Adam felt a chill down his spine as he reached a shocking conclusion.
"Ah, yeah, I try to vomit in the mouth of the people I kiss, I want them to avoid the next ti by making it an ugly mory. Sorry for that for real." Hino slamd her hands together and stuck out her tongue, this apology was anything but genuine.
"So, you did all of that and it still didn't work with Aki. See, in the end, you just hurt yourself and traumatized others in the process." Adam shook his head as the smugness left her face. What was left was just bitterness and acceptance of her failure.
"Geez~~ So, cruel. To think that rather than empathizing with , you would slam the fact right in my face." Even if she sounded upset at the mont, Hino wasn't that hurt by this.
"Shut it, you nearly did that to ," Adam frowned and Hino laughed. She really tried, it was like a small revenge she was seeking. But it failed.
"Sorry Sorry, but you evaded so it is fine right? No harm done," Hino giggled, but then she suddenly stopped like lightning had struck her.
"What happened?" He asked.
"The reason you pushed to the side was because you knew that I was going to puke, right? You already knew that I wasn't that drunk at the ti, so it is only normal that you could tell." She felt like this was the correct answer.
"And what makes you think that?" Adam wanted to know how she reached that conclusion.
"Well, you said that you wouldn't mind having sex with a Beautiful woman, A.K.A That is . So, by that we can deduce that you wouldn't mind kissing a beautiful woman, A.K.A again that is . So, the only reason you avoided my kiss, is because you knew what would happen after, right?" Hino was just missing a smoking pipe and hat at this mont. But she didn't need that as she was confident in her answer.
"That sums it up," Adam nodded without any reservation as she grinned.
'Let's just concede for now,' He thought looking at the smugness dripping from her face. There was an important issue that needed to be addressed at the mont.
"So, when are you gonna stop straddling ?" Adam had to ask because she seed to have no plans of doing that.
"Oh, that's up to you big boy~, I can do this all night or concede to you. Which one will it be?"
