"What are you doing Denji?" She asked causing him to freeze in place.

"M-Makima… I was just…" Denji's words didn't co out because he was still on the receiving end of the stare.

"Miss Makima, I do not like to say sothing twice," She said.

"Y-Yeah, Miss Makima," Denji shrunk back, and so did others, it may have not shown on her face. But this was the first ti they had seen the smile on her face vanish completely, and without that smile along with her cold tone. She was not soone they would like to disobey, as they had never seen this side of her before.

"Adam, what would you like? I ordered two glasses of Sweet Potato Shochu for us, anything else you want?" Makima turned to Adam and the smile reappeared instantly.

"Hmm, let's see, tempura will be good for now," She nodded at his words and placed the order. Leaving the vibrant aura around the two, the others sitting next to them were in low spirits. Two of them to be exact…

'She is almost like a different person with him. Like what the hell is that smile? She can do that?' Hino felt like her only eye was about to pop out, but the situation was severe for the people who were paying attention.

But the fact that Makima arrived with another man wasn't sothing she minded, rather she welcod it with both arms as this was the perfect thing. The reason it beca an issue was because of the other guy beside Denji, his expression suggested that he had chewed on raw lemon.

'Who is he? But if I ask I might anger Miss Makima. I don't know if I should ask or not. He might be soone from work, but… why would Miss Makima bring him to such an event?' Aki, the guy with topknot was in a deep conundrum. To him, this was a shocker, especially after he happened to see those marks on her neck last ti.

'Was it him? No, it has to be. She was acting like that with him, so there was no other explanation. I have never seen her do sothing like this for anyone before,' He glanced at Adam and Makima drinking and eating rather happily, the air around them just scread that sothing was going on between them. And even if he wanted to know, there was no way for him to ask, that was until soone approached him with a plan.

"You are curious, right?" Aki turned to look at Hino who was whispering to him, "I am too, it is not every day you see her smile like an actual woman."

"What do you an?" Aki tried to play it cool but Hino smiled. She could see right through this guy, and it honestly wasn't a good feeling, but she decided to play her cards since the mont was perfect.

"You want to know what is happening between them right?" Hino saw Aki's eye twitch, and she knew that he was caught, "Let's get them drunk and ask them directly. You and Denji handle Makima, I'll distract him and try to get him drunk."

"Are you sure?" Aki asked and Hino nodded.

"I told you right, I am curious too. And don't you know how much I can drink, I'll have him under the table in no ti flat," Hino smirked and the three started their plan.

"Miss Makima let's have a drinking competition, the loser obeys the winner," Makima wordlessly looked at the confident Denji and unsure Aki.

"I don't see a problem with that," Makima agreed.

'Yes!' Denji and Aki were happy, step 1 was complete, now…

"You are really interesting. I haven't seen you around before, foreign country?" Hino sat on Adam's left side with a friendly smile.

"Yeah, also I find you to be quite interesting," Adam smiled and Hino smirked.

"Is that so?" She leaned in with a playful look as he nodded in affirmation.

'The way they get powers here is fascinating, I should study their contract system maybe I can learn a few things,' Adam turned to look at Aki and Denji, who were drinking like their lives depended on it so that they could defeat Makima.

"Hey now, looking away from a woman during a conversation is rude~!" Hino tried to get his attention by turning his face towards her.

'Even he can't stop looking at her…' She thought but didn't let it appear on the surface.

"Oh, I didn't know that," Adam didn't know if there was sothing like this. But he decided to just trust Hino's word. After all his action can be seen as rude, regardless she didn't seem that bothered.

"How about you drink with to make up for it? If you lose you will have to answer my questions, okay?" Hino said smugly, she didn't even list the condition of what would happen if she lost.

"You seem confident, I'll take you on then," Adam agreed to the match-up, and Hino smirked. Step two was completed, now all they had to do was get them drunk.

An hour later...

"I…can't…" Aki's head struck the table with a thud, his face was flushed and his eyes were spinning like a windmill.

"Oh, another Beer for , and please clean up the glasses at the table," Makima who was now on her 50th glass, still looked the sa. There was not a single change in her expression.

'She is…too powerful…' Aki looked at Denji who had also passed out next to him. He tried to hang on but it didn't work as for why he didn't look for Hino, who was supposed to be drinking with Adam.

"S-She's not dead right?" Kobeni was shaking while poking the unmoving Hino with the chopsticks.

"She is just drunk," Adam said to calm this nervous girl down, although he wasn't sure why she was so troubled when one could see Hino's chest rising and falling. It was very clear that she was asleep, if you noticed the droll it would be even more obvious.

"This turned out to be quite ssy," Makima said, along with her only Adam sitting upright, Kobeni ran away in fear, apparently she didn't want to be involved in a murder case. The others were sprawled across the floor, with beer glasses and leftover food lying on the floor. They had certainly way more than they would do normally, all because Makima said she would cover the bill.

"Mye prezidentel speezh…." All in all, they weren't in a good state at the mont.

"Certainly did, want another beer?" Adam asked and Makima nodded with a smile. The two still had it in them to continue the drinking party, honestly, they weren't even affected by the alcohol thanks to their abilities. That was until soone woke up.

"Ahhh, Azam tou are shhhhoooo cruel~~!!!(Adam, You are soooo cruel!) Shorwing ashide the mozt you dre sone!!!(Throwing aside the mont you are done!)" Hino crawled over whining. She was drunk to the point that her words were slurred and she had no idea about what she was doing.

"And she is throwing a tantrum," Adam found it funny, while Hino was shaking him in her drunken stupor.

"What do you an tantrum? I am hurt, now I need a kiss as compensation, Gim Gim~~…" Hino grabbed Adam's face like a monkey jumping at food. Her face was flushed, and her eye was out of focus. But she moved in without a problem, her purpose helped her.

'Seriously?!' Adam was shocked by the sudden developnt. Hino was now dangerously close and she was about to kiss him, 'Yeah, no, she is too drunk…'

But because of the circumstances, he carefully turned her away before her lips landed on him. And that was the best decision he had made in his life, in the next second Hino started to throw up. And thankfully to Adam, it wasn't on him.

"That's foul," Adam was glad he controlled himself at the last mont and didn't give in to the temptation. Because that was a ss he wasn't willing to deal with when he saw the chuck of fish and tempura in the puke.

"It indeed is, I am sorry for the ss," Makima said looking at the owner, who seed very used to these types of incidents. It would be better to say that nothing affected her, rather than her getting used to it.

'Not surprising after all,' Adam sighed he moved to the side to avoid sitting in front of the vomit, but in doing so he was now closer to Makima who didn't move at all.

"Hmm, I suppose I can help you with this," Makima showed a soft smile that confused Adam, but he wasn't given much ti to ponder upon it. In the next instant, Makima moved in and kissed his lips.
