Ethan Lloyd saw this and thought the woman was considering a collaboration, and said in a serious manner, "This is the latest project from our company, absolutely a great opportunity for mutual benefit. Seraphina, I haven’t shown this project to anyone else. You’re the first one I ca to. Doesn’t that show I’m a loyal old friend?"
If Ethan Lloyd hadn’t repeatedly called her an old friend, Seraphina Sinclair wouldn’t have changed her deanor so quickly.

"Old friend? Ethan Lloyd, do you have any sha at all?"
Suddenly, Seraphina Sinclair, who had been silent, spoke coldly, directly retaliating against him.
Ethan Lloyd clearly did not expect Seraphina Sinclair to suddenly turn hostile, his face darkened and after a mont of shock, he spoke, "Seraphina, can we just let the past go? I know I wronged you. Isn’t my apology enough?"
"You make sick! If apologies were enough, there’d be no need for laws! People like you don’t deserve forgiveness."
Previously, Seraphina Sinclair thought Ethan Lloyd only deceived her, ruined one person’s life, and perhaps Seraphina could have been lenient.
But ever since she found out the truth of that year, she secretly vowed that in Bayside City, if she is there, Ethan Lloyd would never be!
Seraphina’s words grew increasingly harsh, and Ethan Lloyd finally couldn’t hold back and responded, "Seraphina, I’ve said so much already, what more do you want from ? Do you want to kneel and apologize?"
The events of the past were already gone and there was nothing Ethan Lloyd could do to change it. He couldn’t understand why Seraphina Sinclair insisted on clinging to it.
"Kneel? Are you even worthy?" Seraphina Sinclair suddenly scoffed after hearing him.
"Ethan Lloyd, don’t think I don’t know what you’re up to, want to cooperate with Kevin Group? You should know your own worth!"
In recent years, under Ethan Lloyd’s managent, Lloyd Group has fallen from its forr glory, with stock prices declining annually.
However, Kevin Group is vastly different. Although it’s not top-tier in Bayside City, its comrcial value is significant.
An amateur company like Ethan Lloyd’s actually wants to cooperate with Kevin Group; truly unaware of the scale.
"Seraphina Sinclair! You’ve gone too far! I’ve said so much, yet you continue to force ; what exactly do you want?"
Ethan Lloyd finally couldn’t take it anymore and confronted Seraphina Sinclair directly.
Seraphina Sinclair saw Ethan Lloyd’s angry red face and couldn’t help but smile slightly.
She then picked up the red wine in front of her, toyed with it for a few monts, and swiftly splashed it onto Ethan Lloyd’s face.
At that mont, Ethan Lloyd’s face was filled with astonishnt.
"Ethan Lloyd, I’m telling you, I, Seraphina Sinclair, have returned; your good days are over!"
After speaking, Seraphina Sinclair imdiately left the restaurant’s private room, leaving Ethan Lloyd alone, stunned, sitting on the chair.
Even until Seraphina Sinclair had left, Ethan Lloyd still couldn’t understand why things had escalated to this point.
Judging by Seraphina’s appearance, it seed she loathed him deeply. Could it be that this woman had spent years abroad investigating past events?

Just at that mont, a call from lanie Lloyd suddenly ca through. Already frustrated, Ethan Lloyd answered in a very unpleasant tone.

On the other end, lanie Lloyd didn’t feel intimidated by Ethan Lloyd’s tone; instead, her voice rose with dissatisfaction, "Ethan Lloyd, I heard from Lawson that you went to see a new client? What’s this, are you entangled with Seraphina Sinclair again?"
lanie Lloyd initially intended to smooth things over with Ethan Lloyd, so the first thing she did upon arriving at the company was to look for him, even bringing him a homade lunch.
Unexpectedly, Ethan Lloyd wasn’t found, and Lawson had said the man went to et a new client.
Despite repeatedly questioning Lawson, the man always feigned ignorance. But lanie Lloyd could guess that Ethan Lloyd must have gone to see that vile woman.
Otherwise, what else could it be that would make Ethan Lloyd neglect the company eting and hurriedly go out?
lanie Lloyd’s tone was filled with anger, which Ethan Lloyd naturally sensed. Perhaps before, he would have shown impatience, but now that Seraphina Sinclair was determined to oppose him, who knows what actions she might take next.
Though lanie Lloyd had grown tireso, since he couldn’t gain what he wanted from her, keeping her around for amusent wasn’t bad, moreover, she knew too many company secrets. Angering lanie Lloyd now would only lead to mutual destruction, with no benefit for him.
Why not let these two won fight, while he sits back and enjoys the benefits, getting rid of the trouble nad lanie Lloyd.
Thinking this, Ethan Lloyd imdiately changed his attitude, speaking to lanie Lloyd in a gentler tone, "lanie, I truly regret not listening to you. I thought Seraphina Sinclair was sincerely wanting to cooperate with us. You wouldn’t believe how nasty her words were today!"
Ethan Lloyd’s sudden change in attitude even surprised lanie Lloyd, who took a mont to respond, "Honey, what did she say?"
As soon as lanie Lloyd addressed him as honey, Ethan Lloyd knew she was no longer angry with him.
What he needed to do next was to guide lanie Lloyd to take action against Seraphina Sinclair.
"What else could she say? She certainly dragged up the past to argue, and claid that in Bayside City, there would be no us if she were around."
"What? That vile woman Seraphina Sinclair actually dares to say such things?"
At first, lanie Lloyd’s emotions were relatively steady, but upon hearing Seraphina Sinclair’s provocation, she couldn’t hold back her anger.
Seraphina’s return had already made lanie Lloyd unhappy after multiple confrontations, and now, such comnts reached lanie Lloyd’s ears, she certainly couldn’t concede.
Ethan Lloyd observed further, adding fuel to the fire, "Indeed, it seems we’re facing a big problem this ti."
"Big problem? Is she, Seraphina Sinclair, even worthy? Since she seeks trouble, I’ll let her know the consequences of provoking us!"
Having spent years alongside Ethan Lloyd, lanie Lloyd had already surpassed him in many ways; her actions sotis left Ethan Lloyd feeling overshadowed.
In lanie Lloyd’s view, if they were able to force Seraphina Sinclair out of Bayside City for almost five years, they certainly could do it again.
"lanie, we’re both husband and wife, as well as allies in the sa camp. No matter what you do, I will unconditionally support you." Seeing lanie Lloyd’s emotions rising, Ethan Lloyd stopped provoking and began encouraging lanie to take action against Seraphina Sinclair.
Ethan Lloyd had already planned that since Seraphina Sinclair wasn’t giving him a chance, he would make sure she tasted the loneliness and helplessness from five years ago again!
After hanging up the call with Ethan Lloyd, lanie Lloyd began pondering how to deal with Seraphina Sinclair.
