Leo Warren seed to be quite taken by her, to the point that he disregarded etiquette by flirting with Nina Kerr in front of Seraphina Sinclair.

"I see, I didn’t expect our Nina to have such a friend like President Sinclair, what a surprise," Leo laughed heartily, clearly in a good mood.

Nina looked at him tenderly, "Yes, my relationship with my sister is indeed unusual, so with this collaboration, I believe my sister certainly wouldn’t refuse, right?"

"The Kevin Group is currently at a sensitive point, I didn’t expect the two of you to co now to discuss cooperation; I’m afraid Kevin is also powerless at the mont," Seraphina’s lips turned up slightly, though inwardly she was puzzled—had Nina heard so rumors? Had she learned any inside information on Kevin?

So they indeed ca to seek a partnership, but what can Kevin collaborate with them on at this ti?

Everyone knew that Kevin had just announced bankruptcy and the company was in turmoil, so what was Nina’s plan with this move?

"Sister, you must be joking; while others might not know your capabilities, could I possibly not be aware? We ca to seek collaboration because we believe in you, isn’t that right?" Nina smiled slightly, with a trace of malice in her eyes.

Others may not know Seraphina’s strength, but she certainly did.

In the end, Kevin Group was just one of the small companies under Seraphina; whether it goes bankrupt or not is up to her, isn’t it?

Seraphina’s expression remained unchanged, but she secretly felt things were not going well.

How could she have forgotten about Nina? Although Nina knew her business on Diamond Island well despite not having much stake there.

Even though few knew her other assets, anyone who had been to Diamond Island knew about those companies.

No wonder even with Kevin Group declaring bankruptcy, Seabrook Group was still insisting on collaborating with them—apparently, it was Lynn Winters who told Leo about these things.

Even so, the decision to collaborate or not was still hers to make.

"President Sinclair. Since we’re here, I shall co straight to the point. We couldn’t finalize the previous partnership; I hope we can discuss it again seriously. Our project is genuinely excellent, and I hope you will consider it sincerely," Leo said, despite his dalliance in personal matters, he was ticulous at work.

Seraphina understood that if Leo was nothing but a womanizer in all aspects, Seabrook Group wouldn’t have co this far.

Thinking back to the previous partnership Nina proposed, Seraphina felt a bit disdainful.

She responded politely with a smile, "Indeed, that location is quite good. If it can be developed, the prospects are imasurable. It’s not impossible to want to collaborate; however, there’s sothing I’m curious about."

Hearing Seraphina was willing to cooperate, Leo hurriedly asked, "What is it?"

"Leaving other issues aside, may I ask why President Warren chose Kevin? I believe that in President Warren’s mind, Kevin wouldn’t be the first choice for securing investnts." More than cooperation, Seraphina was more concerned about this question.

Kevin Group indeed didn’t have much standing in Bayside City; if not for the collaboration with Cloudsea Group and his operations in the last two years, he would have remained obscure in the city.

The bit of fa he acquired over these two years was mostly due to the benefits from his romantic involvent with Desmond.

But even for these reasons alone, she didn’t think Seabrook Group’s foremost choice would still be Kevin.

Could it be that Nina whispered sothing into his ear? If so, that would be understandable.

If not for this reason, then why would he look for Kevin?

Leo didn’t lie and answered truthfully, "You’re right, if securing investnts was the goal, Kevin wouldn’t be the first choice. But the project’s significance to Cloudsea or Grant Group is marginal at best. Other large firms may want to cooperate but wouldn’t prioritize Seabrook Group. After all, they have projects better than ours, so I..."

Leo laughed embarrassedly and didn’t continue.

Seraphina roughly understood his implication—it wasn’t about knowing her inside information; this could be understood as such.

"For us, the top few groups in Bayside City are not the best choice; the most suitable is Kevin. If President Sinclair is willing to cooperate, I’m willing to offer Kevin 20% of the profits."

The 20% profit offering was indeed tempting, but Seraphina shook her head and held up five fingers, "I want 50%."

"This..." Leo looked at her a bit awkwardly, "President Sinclair, isn’t 50% too high, aren’t you making it difficult for us?"

"If this project truly has the imnse profit potential and prospects as you claim, then 50% shouldn’t be much of an issue for you, right?" Seraphina curled her lips, "If unwilling to cooperate, so be it; these are the terms, and whether to cooperate depends on President Warren’s thoughts."

"Soone, see the guest out," Seraphina’s face turned cold as she indicated for her assistant to escort Leo out when she saw him hesitate.

Nina suddenly stood up, smiling sweetly, "Sister, aren’t you going too far? Asking for 50% profits for a re ten million investnt—isn’t that unreasonable?"

"It’s a good thing I didn’t ask for 50% of your company’s dividends. Perhaps you believe Kevin to be struggling and that the chance for collaboration should be an honor for Kevin, but others might not understand while you should be clear, Nina. In business, I’ve spoken about this many tis: if you’re unwilling, simply leave."

Seraphina returned a smile, not paying Nina’s words any real mind.

Whether baiting or playing the sympathy card, none of it mattered to her.

Furthermore, even if cooperation was to co with Nina, he was willing to bring forth the funding, already giving much face to Seabrook. If unwilling to concede even 50%, what cooperation is there to discuss?

"President Shaw, please give three days to consider; I’ll provide an answer after three days, how about that?" For the mont, Leo couldn’t make a decision, and he spoke politely to Seraphina.

"Since President Warren has spoken, I’ll grant you three days. Looking forward to your call," Seraphina smiled politely, "I won’t see you off then, walk safe."

After Leo left, Irene Rowe imdiately heard about the matter.

She heard that Seraphina was going to agree to the collaboration and imdiately objected, "Boss, how can we partner with Seabrook Group? If we engage now, isn’t it obvious to everyone else that Kevin isn’t on the verge of bankruptcy?"

"The big fish is already on the hook; this path need not be pursued further. As for the collaboration, I have my own plans," Seraphina’s words were clear, not wishing for Irene to pursue the matter further.

Irene also understood that Seraphina had always been stubborn; decisions made by her were not easily swayed by anyone, so she kept quiet, saying no more.

Since Seraphina claid to have things under control, Irene found no need to intervene; she trusted Seraphina in this respect.
