"That’s right, I agreed, let’s get married." Irene Rowe thought carefully for a mont, realizing she’s not so young anymore and it’s indeed ti to settle down.

Initially worried that Austin White might regret being with her, but since he’s so insistent, why should she hesitate?

Austin White was overjoyed and rushed forward to hug Irene Rowe, spinning her around on the spot.

"Let’s go register tomorrow morning. No no, tomorrow morning is too late, let’s go right now!" Austin White was so excited, he couldn’t wait a mont longer, wanting to take Irene ho imdiately.

Seraphina Sinclair, who happened to have sothing to discuss with Irene Rowe, pushed open the door just to hear those words, instantly stunned.

"You two are going to register?"

Caught by Seraphina Sinclair, Austin White was montarily at a loss, then took a deep breath and nodded earnestly, answering Seraphina: "That’s right, godmother, I want to marry Irene."

Seraphina Sinclair eyed the two seriously: "Are you serious?"

Austin White and Irene Rowe exchanged a glance, seeing the answer in each other’s eyes: "Godmother, such a thing isn’t sothing to joke about."

"Of course I don’t oppose you being together, I just hope you have thought it through. Marriage isn’t just one person’s affair, it’s a lifeti commitnt. Have you made up your minds?" As soone who has been through it, Seraphina Sinclair hoped for Austin and Irene’s happiness.

However, marriage is not trivial, isn’t it too hasty to make such a decision?

Certainly she wasn’t against their relationship, but they’ve been together for not so long, and Austin is just a naive young guy, it’s understandable for him to be impulsive.

If he regrets the marriage afterward, it won’t affect him much, but Irene Rowe would beco a divorced woman.

She’s not trying to belittle won, but that’s how society is. Divorced n are always more favored than divorced won, and divorced won are always the target of criticism, even if they’re not at fault.

Seraphina Sinclair deeply understood this point and didn’t want Irene to walk her old path.

"Godmother, I’ve thought it through. Irene and I have been together for almost a year. Although all sorts of things have happened during this ti, I still want to live with her." Austin’s eyes remained steadfast, and he knew he had considered it clearly.

Irene Rowe looked at Austin, her heart ward, and she said to Seraphina Sinclair: "Though he’s young, I believe in him."

Since both of them were so determined, Seraphina Sinclair couldn’t say much more and could only choose to support them: "I’m quite pleased if you two achieve a happy ending, but the marriage must be handled cautiously. Austin, you’d better discuss it with your grandfather, and you, Irene, should inform your family soon."

Austin confidently smiled: "Godmother, don’t worry about it, grandpa definitely won’t object."

"I will explain to my parents properly." Irene squeezed Austin’s hand tightly, her eyes full of tenderness.

Seraphina Sinclair smiled helplessly: "Alright, since you’ve made your decision, I can only wish you well."

The two exchanged smiles and responded in unison again.

"Thank you, godmother."

"Thank you, Boss."

Actually, things on Austin’s side weren’t too problematic since Old Master White seldom ddled in his grandchildren’s relationships. He always thought that class distinction was laughable and that what mattered most was the children’s own preferences.

Thus, although he found Nina Kerr and Desmond Fairchild’s relationship inappropriate, he didn’t stop it.

Now, as Austin wishes to marry Irene Rowe, Old Master White likely won’t oppose it.

But dealing with Irene’s parents might not be as easy.

After all, Austin is too young; their age gap is six or seven years, and Irene Rowe could practically be Austin’s mother if she were ten years older. Her parents are very traditional, and if they learn their daughter is marrying a barely-of-age young guy, they’d probably be furious.

Seraphina Sinclair’s biggest concern was also this point. Though Irene has always been independent and could marry Austin without her parents’ consent, a marriage without family blessings is never truly happy.

Watching the couple’s happy deanor, Seraphina Sinclair couldn’t bring herself to voice her concerns.

Initially, Austin ca to help her because of his concern, but he was led away by Irene Rowe, now wholly focused on marrying her, no longer ntioning Kevin’s pending bankruptcy.

Desmond Fairchild, however, was deeply interested in this matter, imdiately called Seraphina Sinclair once he saw the news to inquire about the situation.

Knowing she couldn’t hide it from Desmond Fairchild, Seraphina told him all the plans, leading him to chuckle: "You are quite clever."

"Why do I feel like your words always have a slightly condescending tone?" Seraphina Sinclair wrinkled her nose in displeasure. Could it be that he’s always thought she was incompetent?

"Of course not, to you’re always the most outstanding." Desmond said seriously.

Seraphina’s face turned slightly red as she pouted twice: "Stop being so glib, how are things on your side? Has Eric Holt taken the opportunity to suppress you?"

Desmond paused for two seconds before responding: "Your guesses are right; this is indeed a great opportunity for him to attack, why would he let it slip by?"

Seraphina’s eyes darkened, indeed: "So what’s your plan? If you do nothing now, aren’t you playing into Eric Holt’s hands?"

"I have my ways, don’t worry." Desmond laughed lightly, showing his little lady wasn’t wholly indifferent to his troubles.

"If you encounter any difficulties, feel free to let know, perhaps I can offer so help." Seraphina knew Desmond was always smart, and she understood that if there was sothing even he couldn’t solve, giving it to her might be futile too.

She admitted Desmond was more gifted in business, so if he admitted defeat, she probably couldn’t turn the tide either.

Though she couldn’t be his strategist, being his support was still sothing she could do. Whatever happened to him, she could be there to comfort him.

"Since you said such things, indeed, there’s sothing that I need your help with, I wonder if President Sinclair is willing?" Desmond’s deep alluring voice ca through the phone.

Seraphina was stunned for two seconds then imdiately responded: "Of course, as long as I can help, just ask."

Listening to her solemn reply, Desmond couldn’t help but smile: "Actually, it is not anything major."

"So what is it?" Seraphina was a bit anxious, fearing Desmond would keep her in the dark again, handling everything alone.

"Do you have ti now? Can you co over?" Desmond put away the playful tone, adding a touch of seriousness.

His tone imdiately worried Seraphina, who nodded instantly: "I’ll be there soon."

Once the call ended, Seraphina headed straight towards the Cloudsea Group.
