The chattering mouth in front of him moved incessantly, its translucent lips like delicious jelly enticing Desmond Fairchild to taste.

Before Seraphina Sinclair could finish speaking, Desmond could no longer restrain his restless desire and lowered his head to seize those long-coveted red lips.

The two had not been intimate for almost a year. Desmond’s kiss was more passionate than ever before, as he bit inch by inch at Seraphina’s tender lips, launching an assault in her mouth.

Seraphina, having just had milk, exuded a rich milky scent from her lips and teeth, mixing with the hint of bitter coffee from Desmond’s mouth, like a caral macchiato, drowning them both in this kiss.

Even as a mother, Seraphina couldn’t withstand such a passionate advance from Desmond. Initially thinking of resisting, she eventually lted like a puddle of spring water, letting Desmond have his way.

The young couple kissed as if they had forgotten the concept of ti.

Although it was already winter, the temperature in the room kept rising. Seraphina could feel her body getting hot, unable to resist the urge to peel off her thin nightgown, emitting an enticing moan: "Desmond, I’m... I’m so hot..."

As she spoke, her small hand involuntarily pulled the strap of her nightgown off her shoulder, actively wrapping her arms around Desmond’s neck, her gaze misty as she stared at his moist lips, leaning up to kiss him when he was unprepared.

The two had been without intimacy for quite a while, and were interested only in each other. Seraphina’s initiative made Desmond’s throat tighten as he almost couldn’t resist the urge to have her right there.

He exerted great restraint to curb his erupting desire, pulling Seraphina away and hoarsely telling her, "Behave, not tonight."

"Why not?" Seraphina lifted her head, looking at Desmond in confusion, her lightly bit lip revealing a hint of longing in her eyes.

"What’s that? Do you really want it?" Desmond’s lips curved into a teasing smile as he looked at Seraphina, half-smiling.

Seraphina, dazed by the kiss, didn’t quite register what he said and naively nodded: "I do."

"You said it yourself, I didn’t force you," Desmond chuckled, kissing Seraphina’s tender red lips again.

By the ti Seraphina realized what was happening, it was already too late. Desmond had placed her on the large bed, and as she looked up, he was already pressing over her.

"We’re out of those at ho..." Things had progressed to this point, and Seraphina hadn’t thought of rejecting him, but as they were getting cozy, she suddenly rembered this and abruptly pushed Desmond away.

Dylan Fairchild furrowed his brows, sowhat impatient: "If we don’t have any, then we just won’t use them. If you get pregnant, we’ll keep it."

"You used to force to have an abortion, and now you want to keep it?" Speaking of this matter, Seraphina was filled with anger and imdiately lost the desire to continue.

She still hadn’t forgotten how determined Desmond was when he insisted she have an abortion. It felt like those scenes had just happened yesterday.

Seraphina’s words were like a bucket of cold water, drenching Desmond to the core.

He certainly couldn’t forget that incident, but tis have changed. He genuinely wanted to have ten or eight children with Seraphina now.

Yet, realizing his earlier words were inconsiderate, he sincerely apologized to Seraphina, "I’m sorry, Seraphina. At that ti, I was only trying to protect you. Your surroundings were fraught with danger; pregnancy was not appropriate then, so I purposely..."

Seeing his anxious deanor, Seraphina couldn’t help but laugh out loud: "Alright, it’s all in the past. I don’t bla you. Plus, I didn’t actually abort that child at the ti, so I kind of lied to you, and that’s why we couldn’t keep the child in the end. Perhaps it was ant to be."

Speaking of the child they couldn’t keep, Seraphina’s expression filled with sorrow.

If that child had been born, they would surely have been very adorable.

"There will be more children; it’s just that his timing was off last ti. This ti, he’ll choose the right ti to co back to us," Desmond knew Seraphina couldn’t get over that emotional hurdle because that child was a thorn in her heart.

"I know all of this is fate’s arrangent, so I don’t bla you. It’s just that the child wasn’t ant to be with us." Seraphina also understood that the matter wasn’t Desmond’s fault.

After discussing this, the previous atmosphere dissipated, leaving neither of them interested anymore.

Desmond sat up on the bed, his deep gaze fixed on Seraphina without saying a word.

Seraphina felt slightly embarrassed by his stare, touching her face and asking, "What is it? Is there sothing on my face? Why are you staring at like that?"

"I haven’t looked at you like this in a long ti, and I find you more beautiful than ever." Desmond effortlessly expressed sweet words.

Seraphina coyly punched his chest: "Stop with the sweet talk, it’s getting late; why don’t you head back soon?"

"Cough, cough, cough..." Desmond covered his mouth, feigning a weak appearance and coughing abruptly, "Oh no, I think I caught a cold."

...

Looking at his flushed face, Seraphina was speechless: "If you’re going to make excuses, at least co up with sothing believable. Do you really look like soone who’s sick?"

He seed quite energetic just now when kissing, and suddenly he’s caught a cold? Who is he trying to fool?

Desmond didn’t care if Seraphina saw through his act; he continued to play along: "I’m really sick. Do you truly have the heart to let a sick person drive ho alone in the middle of the night? It’s so dangerous."

"Do you even know if you’re sick or not?" Seraphina couldn’t resist the urge to roll her eyes, sighed, and conceded, "If you don’t want to go back, just sleep here. We have product issues to handle tomorrow."

"I don’t think I can move; suddenly I feel so dizzy." Desmond said, softly leaning towards Seraphina, as if a gentle breeze could topple him over.

Seraphina was certain that Desmond must have learned such shaless tactics from Quentin Jennings.

"If you can’t move, then rest. I’ll go sleep with Polo." Seraphina sighed helplessly. Since Desmond didn’t want to leave, she decided she would.

As she was getting up, Desmond grabbed her wrist, his charming voice sounding by her ear, "Seraphina, don’t go."

"What?" Seraphina glanced at Desmond indifferently, but didn’t pull her hand away.

"I want to sleep with you," Desmond looked at Seraphina pitifully, afraid she’d leave him for Polo.

A supposedly domineering CEO showing such a pitiful expression was both funny and endearing.

Seraphina had no choice but to accept her fate and stayed by his side: "Just this once, don’t make it a habit."

"Alright." Seeing that Seraphina paused in getting out of bed, Desmond imdiately wrapped his arms around her waist, holding her tightly in his embrace.
