But seeing Polo cheer up, Seraphina Sinclair felt relieved; now she can go to work without worries.

These days, she’s been consud with thoughts about Polo, nearly forgetting she still has a lot of things undone.

The collaboration with Seabrook Group was put on hold because of her hospitalization for the miscarriage, and now it’s ti to revisit it.

She rembers the head of Seabrook is Nina Kerr, and it’s been a while since she last dealt with Nina. Her recent quietness is quite unusual; Seraphina wonders if Nina is planning sothing big.

After learning that the relationship between Nina and Desmond Fairchild was rely a business partnership, Seraphina’s hostility towards Nina slightly diminished.

Though she couldn’t forgive the things Nina did to her, considering most were Nina’s own doing, Seraphina decided to temporarily not deal with her.

However, if Nina wants to make things difficult and confront her, Seraphina won’t hesitate to be ruthless.

The collaboration with Seabrook Group isn’t very significant, but a bit of profit is still profit, and Seraphina never misses a chance to make money.

After figuring it out, Seraphina imdiately tasked Irene Rowe with keeping a close watch, only to learn from Irene that there had been issues with the product previously made in collaboration with Cloudsea Group.

Seraphina furrowed her brows slightly, "What happened? Wasn’t everything fine before? Why did problems suddenly arise?"

"They say it’s a manufacturer issue; the factory used substandard materials to make our new robots, leading to short-circuits and burning. I’m investigating the exact cause and believe we’ll soon have results." Once it’s about work, Irene switches from her usual carefree deanor to a very serious and focused attitude.

Seraphina nodded slightly, "Then put the Seabrook Group matters aside for now and focus on the product issues first."

"Yes, BOSS."

"Have you inford Cloudsea Group about this?" Seraphina asked.

Irene replied softly, "President Fairchild has been notified, but I need to verify specifics before reporting to him."

"Alright, understood." Seraphina hung up and imdiately called Desmond Fairchild.

She believes there’s more to this than just a simple malfunction, as the product quality check was closely monitored by her, making such a fundantal oversight improbable.

She personally selected the production company, whose reliability she trusts, so the use of inferior materials to produce products likely shouldn’t occur.

While dialing, Seraphina’s expression remained displeased.

If the product troubles could be smoothly fixed, the stock prices of both Cloudsea Group and Kevin Group wouldn’t be impacted.

However, if not solved promptly, both companies’ stock prices would inevitably decline, affecting Cloudsea Group alongside Kevin Group, leading to bigger consequences.

Currently, Cloudsea Group is no longer solely under Desmond Fairchild’s control.

Quentin Jennings had ntioned before that after Eric Holt returned to the Fairchild Family, he smoothly settled into Cloudsea Group and is now one of the major shareholders.

Any mishap in Desmond’s projects would jeopardize his position as CEO.

Eric’s sudden return clearly indicates his ambition for the family’s wealth, and he would definitely vie for Cloudsea Group’s inheritance.

From their previous encounters, Seraphina sensed Eric wasn’t a decent person.

The Kevin product trouble might relate to him too.

It’s evident soone’s manipulating these events behind the scenes; otherwise, such sudden complications wouldn’t arise.

What kind of person is Eric Holt exactly? Why does everything seem to involve him, yet simultaneously, he seems detached from everything?

"Hello?" On the other end, Desmond Fairchild’s tired voice ca through.

"What’s up? You sound exhausted?" Seraphina pressed down her inner doubts and couldn’t help caring.

Desmond felt slightly refreshed hearing Seraphina’s voice, and his lips involuntarily curved into a smile, "What? Are you worrying about now?"

Seraphina retorted, "Is it really the ti to joke around with ? Do you know about the issues with our new robots?"

Desmond’s voice steadied, without revealing any emotion, "Irene has already inford ."

"What’s your take on this?" Seraphina eagerly wanted to hear his perspective.

"The specifics are still unknown, so I can’t analyze it yet." Desmond always remains rational.

"Desmond Fairchild, I want to ask you sothing, and you must answer truthfully." Seraphina knew the product situation couldn’t be swiftly resolved, but trusted Desmond could answer her queries.

Listening to Seraphina’s serious tone, Desmond focused and listened intently, "Mm, go ahead."

"I want to know everything about Eric Holt. I always feel you and Quentin are concealing sothing. It’s as if our breakup was sohow related to Eric. What’s his relationship with you? What are the conflicts between you? I hope you tell everything honestly."

This matter constantly puzzled Seraphina; she’s been seeking answers but never found the opportunity.

Since leaving Bayside City for Diamond Island, she felt all occurrences had ties to Eric Holt. What are these connections, and what role does Eric play? And is the contention between Desmond and Eric rely family disputes?

She truly wishes to understand.

"Are you sure you want to know?" Desmond extinguished his cigarette, his hoarse voice revealing a bit of laziness.

Seraphina answered earnestly, "I want to know everything; please tell truthfully."

"This matter can’t be clarified over the phone. Are you free now? Let’s et and discuss."

"Co ho, I’m waiting for you."

The simple words of waiting at ho touched Desmond’s heart.

How long had it been since Seraphina uttered those words? For a mont, he didn’t know how to respond.

Silence from the other end made Seraphina assu Desmond was unwilling, slightly frowning with displeasure, "Are you coming or not? If not, forget it."

"I’ll be there in ten minutes." Desmond’s lips curled slightly, his mood evidently improved.

He organized his desk, grabbed his car keys, and prepared to leave.

Seeing Desmond, dressed sharply and radiating vigor, Quentin Jennings teased, "Oh, seems like Master Fairchild is truly rejuvenated this ti? What, did the lady invite you for dinner?"

In high spirits, Desmond didn’t mind Quentin’s teasing, sowhat smugly replied, "She asked to co ho."

"Really? Well done, Master Fairchild. Didn’t expect you to be so skillful, winning over the lady so quickly. Thought given her temperant, it’d have taken you at least a few more months."
