At first, many n indeed wanted to speak up for Nina Kerr, but who knew Fiona Dunn’s video would co out. In the video, it was clear to see Nina and Ian Lynch first holding arms and then holding hands; you’d have to be a fool not to see this wasn’t a normal sibling relationship.
Nina kept explaining that Ian Lynch was her sworn brother, while Ian remained silent.
He stood aside watching as Nina helplessly tried to explain, showing no intention of stepping forward to speak for her, even seeming a little amused by the drama.
"Brother, say sothing." Nina wouldn’t let Ian Lynch off the hook, not willing to bear this alone.
Ian Lynch looked at her indifferently: "Say what?"
"Quick, tell them we’re not in a relationship, we’re just..."
"But they aren’t wrong, while we’re technically not in a romantic relationship, we’ve done everything a couple should do, haven’t we?" Ian Lynch crossed his arms, a roguish smile on his lips, watching Nina’s incredulous expression, his smile growing more sinister.
A single stone stirs a thousand ripples.
If there were still so sympathy for Nina’s previous explanations, Ian Lynch’s words as the male lead shattered the illusion of a sibling relationship and exposed that they weren’t in a romantic relationship yet did all things couples do.
How disgusting is that?
"Pah, a bus like her can’t be everyone’s goddess!" From sowhere, a rotten lettuce leaf was thrown straight onto Nina’s head.
Straight after, a barrage of garbage was hurled at Nina; she was now like a rat crossing the street, chased by all.
Ian Lynch’s words instantly made Nina the target of all scorn.
n loathe won who are fickle as water, while won despise vixens who seduce n.
Nina’s painstakingly cultivated image as Luna White was utterly shattered in an instant.
Seraphina Sinclair hadn’t anticipated this move from Ian Lynch, set up by her own to such an outstanding effect.
She hadn’t expected her few words to tarnish Nina’s reputation on Diamond Island, but Ian Lynch’s reversal was simply brilliant!
Although unclear of Ian’s ruthless motive against Nina, Seraphina admitted seeing Nina being pelted with rotten veggies delighted her imnsely.
This farce ended when Seraphina dispersed the crowd before security arrived.
She didn’t wish to make tomorrow’s headlines, and left when it was smart to do so.
However, Nina escaped faster, disappearing while Seraphina was dispersing everyone.
Nina hurried to the restroom, tidied her appearance in the mirror, and looked at her disheveled reflection. Her eyes blazed with furious hatred.
"Seraphina Sinclair, you deserve to die!"
"If you dare harm her, you’ll be the one to die first." Suddenly she heard what seed a devil’s whisper, making her turn instantly.
She swallowed fearfully, staring at the man before her: "Des... Desmond."
At this mont, Desmond Fairchild was like another person from his usual self, exuding an invisible pressure. His narrow eyes were dangerous like a king reigning the world, threatening to shred Nina into pieces should she dare move.
His formidable presence spawned a deep-rooted fear in Nina, causing her speech to stutter: "Desmond, why are you here?"
"If you touch her again, I’ll make your death horrible." Desmond clutched Nina’s throat, a scornful smirk on his lips, "If you know what’s smart, don’t do anything to make angry."
"I, I understand, I won’t ever do it again." With her throat gripped, Nina struggled to speak while gasping desperately for the air she couldn’t inhale, her face reddened begging Desmond to let her go, "I... I’m sorry, Desmond, let, let go."
Desmond coldly released her, warning once more: "My patience is limited, if there’s a next ti, don’t bla for turning ruthless."
"Yes." Once she got fresh air, Nina frantically breathed, watching Desmond’s departing silhouette, her legs gave way, collapsing to the floor.
She smiled bitterly, resentnt welling in her eyes once more.
If not for Seraphina, how would she have been threatened by Desmond?
Indeed.
Her relationship with Desmond wasn’t truly that of lovers; she was nothing more than his servile canine.
Had she known this earlier, she wouldn’t have dared provoke such a dreadful man.
Nina was filled with regret, with no way to turn back.
But Seraphina, she would never let her get away with it!
Seraphina didn’t know what Nina was thinking; she only wondered what Ian Lynch was contemplating.
After Nina left, Ian naturally blended into their group.
Seraphina had no issues with Ian, but Rosalie Quinn utterly disliked him. However, his retort at Nina made Rosalie secretly thrilled.
So her attitude towards him slightly improved.
"The Lynch brother did well! Now Nina’s reputation is probably ruined, wonder if there’ll be news tomorrow?" Fiona happily thought of Nina’s miserable state.
"With Nina’s skill, this matter likely won’t continue fernting." Seraphina didn’t hold much hope; even if news broke, Nina could quickly do crisis PR.
Fiona pouted: "That’s too bad, such a woman should’ve been ruined long ago."
Seraphina sincerely smiled at Keith Hughes: "Didn’t manage to pick a gift for you today, sorry."
"No worries, there’s no hurry." Keith wasn’t upset, not picking a gift was better, no need to conjure another excuse to et next ti.
"Let’s call it a day, and schedule the gift thing next ti?" Seraphina had lost interest from the long outing; with Jude here, she wanted to take him ho.
Keith agreed with a nod.
Right after Seraphina’s group left, Keith’s smile vanished, gazing coldly at Ian Lynch: "Your taste remains consistently poor."
"I wouldn’t dare play with well-bred girls." Ian Lynch chuckled roguishly, "Won like Nina are low risk even if they’re used up."
"Be careful not to catch sothing." Keith walked past Ian, hands in pockets.
"Don’t worry, I’m not that foolish." Ian recalled Rosalie Quinn’s face, hooking his lips playfully, "Seraphina’s friend isn’t bad, the one nad Rosalie, pretty with a feisty temper, my type."
Keith halted, his handso eyes issuing a dangerous warning: "Rosalie is Seraphina’s friend, also my junior, and the Quinns are aristocrats among aristocrats. She’s not a woman you can toy with."
Ian rubbed his chin, pondering a while: "What if I pursue her?"
"With you?" Keith laughed disdainfully, "If you still have eyes, you should see how repulsed she is by you, dreaming of pursuing her."
