"Not feeling well? Didn’t you just have a health check-up this year? How are you taking care of Old Mrs. Fairchild?" Desmond Fairchild’s voice was deep, with a hint of coldness.

"I don’t know what happened, sir. You’d better co back first."

The chill around Desmond was rolling thickly, "Got it, quickly call the family doctor, I’m coming over right away."

Desmond hung up the phone, and when he returned, a big one and a small one were actually fighting over shrimp dumplings.

Little Jude Sinclair had a righteous look on his face: "Mommy, you can’t eat anymore. If you keep eating, you won’t fit into the sumr limited edition you just bought!"

Seraphina Sinclair nonchalantly snatched the beef slice from Jude’s hand, her beautiful eyes narrowing slightly, she said with smug satisfaction, "No worries, I’ll run eight kiloters after I finish this al!"

"Hmph." Jude snorted lightly, turning to look at the pot.

Seeing the warm scene between the two, Desmond’s anxiety inexplicably diminished a bit, and much of the chill on his face dissipated as well. He pressed his lips together and said, "I have so things to take care of, so I have to leave first. I might not be back tonight, you drive ho with our son."

Leaving again?

Seraphina heard this and instinctively looked up at him: "Have you eaten enough... Take it slow on the road."

Seizing the chance, Jude stole the beef slice from her bowl and stuffed it into his mouth, speaking with his mouth full, "Bye, Daddy!"

There was a touch of warmth in Desmond’s eyes as he replied with a "hmm," then turned and left.

Watching him leave, Seraphina was slightly absent-minded.

Gone all night on the first day?

Surely he wouldn’t go back to his old job after getting so much money?

After Desmond left the house, he hurried back ho, and as he opened the door, he saw Old Mrs. Fairchild sitting comfortably on the sofa, happily chatting with soone.

"Desmond, you’re finally back."

Old Mrs. Fairchild looked at Desmond, her already loving face beca even more filled with smiles.

Desmond was stunned for a mont, then glanced at the two people on the sofa. One woman seed just over twenty, young and beautiful.

He imdiately understood, and his face couldn’t help but look unpleasant, but he couldn’t embarrass his grandmother in front of others. He asked in a low voice, "Grandma, I heard you’re not feeling well? Why aren’t you resting?"

"Oh, it’s just an old ailnt, even the doctor can’t help with it."

She waved her hand, Old Mrs. Fairchild put on a fragile and unable-to-care-for-herself look, looking at him deeply with a worried face, "It’s a heart problem."

"Since you’re fine, I’m relieved. I’ll be off then." Desmond turned to leave, his mind on the big and small figures. After all, they weren’t familiar with the roads, and going ho late wasn’t safe.

"Who said I’m fine?" Old Mrs. Fairchild glared at him fiercely: "Just got here and you want to leave? Can’t even control you anymore, right? Sit down quickly."

Seeing Old Mrs. Fairchild was already angry, Desmond couldn’t say much more and sat down next to her.

Outside, he’s fearless and can cover the sky with one hand, but having been raised by his grandmother, he naturally respects the elderly.

Old Mrs. Fairchild smiled, "Desmond, co and et Shirley Lynch, the eldest daughter of The Lynches. I invited her over for a al and introduce you to each other."

He had heard of the Lynches, a rapidly rising family over the years, seemingly on par with the Lloyd Group. Many wanted to connect with them, and recently they had a collaboration with Cloudsea Group. Who knew they also had a younger daughter.

To outsiders, it seed like a good match. No wonder grandma was eager to play matchmaker.

Shirley Lynch nodded slightly, greeted with a ladylike deanor: "President Fairchild, it’s nice to et you, I’m Shirley Lynch."

Before Desmond could speak, Old Mrs. Fairchild interrupted: "Oh, don’t call him President Fairchild, just call him by his na, I prefer it that way."

"Of course, Grandma Fairchild, whatever you say." Shirley Lynch stole a glance at Desmond, her face full of a shy smile. Observing his handso looks and natural leader aura, her heart raced at the thought of being liked by such a man.

"Hello, Miss Lynch." Desmond greeted her expressionlessly.

Hearing his address, Shirley Lynch’s smile faded slightly and she bit her lip.

She once briefly t him at a party and had rembered him ever since. However, Desmond was low-key, rarely attending such events, and seldom made public appearances. It took her a long ti to find out he was the head of the Fairchild Family.

Old Mrs. Fairchild glared at him secretly, but he acted as if he didn’t notice.

Seeing his attitude, Old Mrs. Fairchild could only sigh helplessly and said, "Alright, everyone’s here, let’s eat and talk."

"Grandma Fairchild, let help you."

Shirley Lynch quickly assisted Old Mrs. Fairchild, and the two walked affectionately in front.

The next mont, Desmond’s phone vibrated suddenly. He checked to see a ssage on WeChat: Desmond Fairchild, if you dare say another word to any other woman, I’ll ruin you!"

After reading the ssage, Desmond couldn’t help but smile.
